Glad you are enjoying Abaco! While on Guana Cay, there is a small protected bay and anchorage near ferry dock / Grabbers restaurant (on the Abaco sea side). Also, Nippers is a place to visit :-) (on the ocean side); it is a 5 minute walk across the island from the ferry dock.
It's good to hear and see the many ways that God is blessing you kids. God is truly fond of y'all and it shows.... Don't sweat it about not knowing what day it is. I retired 9 years ago, it wasn't long before one day was just running into anther. I know when it's the weekend because my wife don't go to work... LOL... I love seeing you kids living the simple life. Our lives are to short to be fussing over the small uglies that come our way... So with love and many prayers, be blessed... BBE..

That was a great video thank you for sharing, I am hoping to go to the Abaco's for vacation this summer, I won't be going by boat this time but maybe next time. Just trying to figure our my next sailboat, I need a boat with a big cockpit, sometimes I have one or two of my children with me plus 4 or 5 grand children. I had a 30 oday for many years and as the family grew I needed more cockpit space. what would you suggest.
That's a hard question. There are so many options out there, all of which have pros and cons with many variables. I'm not sure exactly what would be an ideal choice. We think it is great that you are able to share your passion for sailing with your family though! We hope you can find something that fits everyone and that you will have many fun adventures along the way!
We haven't found the one perfect spot in the Abacos, just because there are so many reefs to choose from and we didn't get a chance to see all of them on our trip. Honestly though, you really can't go wrong with any of them. The ones that we did go to while in the Abacos were full of vibrant sea life and there were always plenty of dive buoys to choose from, along with plenty of sandy areas to anchor as well. We spent a majority of our trip in the Exumas, where there weren't very many snorkeling reefs, but one spot that we found and really loved was the North side of Rose Island, which is next to Nassau.
