You are professional. Where is a power supply in this iMac? Is it integrated into the motherboard?

It has external power adapter and has no built in PSU board.

15:08 this is always the question when we try and diagnose Apple no start situations. Why the fuck is it not starting up. Great video thanks and you have a new sub from Australia

I guess this shows the importance of good visual inspection. I thought you were close to injecting voltage and checking for heat when I suddenly saw the blown cap. :D Really neat workshop and great video production. (I've worked on many iMacs but still only Intel based ones.)

Thank you, this one showed up without needing to inject 🖥️ Challenge was to remove the screen correctly as couldn't find any info online, it does show how but not fully how on most critical place! But anyway, I managed to find the way and sharing this with you.

@@IFIXIT4U-UK I appreciate it. I've bookmarked the video so I can refer to it when I get one in for repair. I do mostly PCs but also some Macs, working from home.

Thanks for the video friend, I have an iMac M1 that won't turn on on the bench, but I'm having difficulty locating the defect, everything seems to be a short one, as in your video, however, I'm without the .brd of the board and I need to do it a more rigorous analysis on the plate. Your video helps a lot. thanks.

You should contact your local computer repair shop so they can check this for you and perhaps will tell you what to do next
