Dan released 15 of his records simultaneously causing such a sweep that it made it really hard to fight back. That being said, Matthias quit after Dan got them all. That's sad. He said he lost all fun from it. And ended his runs. 😢
Well, releasing 15 records at once takes away the possibility of competition. Matthias could've done that easily too without letting anyone know he was up to it. That's why Matthias' story is compelling and Dan's story is meh. He did get the records but he sneaked his way into the achievement and it's not very interesting.
@@Oakshield2 If you paid attention at the beginning, MR took back the title after Dan’s world record ‘un-hoarding’. Dan then proceeded to dunk in the face of MR and the A1A getting 32/32 WRs!
I don’t know why, but I think the A1A is one of the funniest things in video games, and even funnier is MR teaming up with the A1A like he’s magneto teaming up with the X-Men. God I love Mario kart lmao
The A1A makes sense though too. They weren’t being villains. They just knew that if any one person held such a title that any future accomplishments would never add up to that level of dominance.

Dan cheated, then apologized, then restarted, fought against everyone else, fought against Matthias and then won the war. You guys be crying over the hoarding for years now, but Dan's proven he's a better man than Matthias, as he had assumed and got over his mistakes, while MR kept crying instead of fighting for the 32/32 again. Oh, let's not forget that Matthias hate Dan as a human being and can't forgive him, which is a very childish move considering Dan's redemption. Dan stopped Matthias from getting the 32/32 but he DIDNT CHEAT for that specifically, and Matthias had his chance of doing the same and failed, therefore making Dan not only the actual champion but the deserving champion as well. Big L for Matthias, and the saddest part is that I also cheered for them, until I realized he still can't get over the past and is still acting personal towards Dan even after his redemption. How can be Matthias the main character then? He's more like the protagonist who became a secondary character after acting worse than his enemies. There’s a level of sportsmanship that Matthias had Dan decided nah fuck that I can’t beat this guy in his own game so I’m not gonna do it and did this, idk I understand some ppl don’t care about sportsmanship, but what Dan did was way different, he blindsided the community, and then decided to give them a chance when he had 31/32, I can never respect Dan for that

You would only be right if his 32/32 happened behind the curtains, but it was NOT the case. He got caught and his grind completely restarted. He achieved 31/32 behind the curtains, lost it all and then got the 32/32 from the start again. He didn't cheat in the actual 32/32 he achieved, thereforw he must be forgiven and his efforts must be recognized. Matthias is the one acting like a bad loser rn, just like Dan did back then, as instead of feeling honored for being THAT GOOD so his rival had to cheat, he decided to take it personally and let it demotivate him. A big L move from him, I hope he forgives Dan and go back to the grinding so he can also achieve the 32/32 and end it all. If you look at the mariokart64 forums, the thread announcing MR's retirement has 2 pages full of appreciation for the guy. The thread congratulating Dan doesn't have a single reply. He really is not liked at all.
@@RaRa-eu9mw It reminds me to Cars of all things, when McQueen decided to not win "an empty cup" because letting the veteran not finish would be seen like a dirty move. People will praise sportsmanship over skill.
@@RaRa-eu9mw I'm gonna be brutally honest here folks. I'm REALLY torn on this. On one hand, I'm not a fan of hoarding records, and had never even heard of it until watching the Dan vs MR video earlier this year. On the other hand, not saying it was right, but I can completely understand the thought process behind it having lived with him for 25 years. At least when it came to multiplayer games, it was always about winning, or at worst trying your best every time you play. Which meant when we got melee, when I would play against 2 much older brothers, I would get absolutely clowned on. Every, single, game. And this went on for years; even when I would improve by playing higher level AI, Dan was just improving way faster than I was, to the point where even when we got brawl, the same shit kept happening. And after like 7 years of just getting your ass beat over and over again, literally all I wanted was to win and call myself better, just once. And it never happened, and the game was simply unfun. Now, I'm not going to compare any passion I had for smash to Dan's for mario kart. Legit I would know when started his stream up because I started lagging in game (I play league of legends) and knew that he would just grind the game for hours; I knew he was hungry to be the best. And when I watched the video of him saying, "I would get a WR, and MR would have beaten it within like a couple of hours," I can't help but remember how I felt when victory felt IMPOSSIBLE. And I know just how mentally taxing my shortcomings are to me, at least in the context of anything competitive. So once again, I'm not condoning the action, but if I were to put myself in his shoes, where for instance I get a world record clawing my way to champ, only for it to get beaten by MR within the day, I know it would eat me alive inside. This all being said, when it comes to the MK64 community, I've literally watched someone stream mario kart one time. So I have no idea how the community itself operates outside of records being posted on the forum. So I can't really make an informed opinion on the community's reaction. This being said, he is my brother, and it does feel a little gut wrenching seeing...well at least SOME of the comments are a little over the top I would say.
@@LukeSawardi think ur the one coping here, more people respect MR than dan because MR was a good sport and would have gotten 32/32 before Dan had he not hoarded his times so MR couldnt defend them

@@Ostinato-Obbligato There's no way of knowing because he didn't give the community a chance. MR was posting his records as he got them knowing full well the community was going to try and beat them. Dan didn't want to do that so he hoarded records to avoid a fair competition.
@@Ostinato-Obbligato That's the point, we'll never know because he was too scared to give anyone the opportunity to even compete against his WR's. His Ego was too fragile to even handle that pressure and he chose to forgo competition and focus only on holding that 32/32 title, which is a pretty superficial achievement at that point. The community isn't petty for remembering how he stabbed his rival in the back when MR upheld the utmost level of honor and competition during his time at the top of mountain. If the whole culture of the MK64 community involved hoarding, such as the Golden Eye community as I recall, then it probably would've been ok. But the example that MR upheld clearly was against that and it was looked down upon, rightfully so. “I don’t care if some people will call me a bad loser, I’m a guy who treats fair players with much respect and who doesn’t forget the ones that go against the code of honor to lift their own ego above an entire community with such a rich history,” - MR

Amazing Video first of all. One note I find hilarious, is the PAL/NTSC issue, when MK64 is one of the only games in which PAL is faster and that is suddenly an issue, but when every European needs to buy a whole set of NTSC consoles and games to stay relevant for pretty much every game in existence, it's not an "issue". It just appears weird to me. Edit: to avoid all the replies simply pointing out that MK uses IGT, and how MAYBE less ppl from PAL regions actually speedrun etc. None of those answers are about my initial point. The point being: When ppl suddenly need to switch region for MK64 it was a huge outcry, while PAL regions have to import their systems and games literally 100% of the time, because of HOW MUCH it is actually faster, and you hear about no one complaining...because it's...FASTER
This is likely due to the fact that MK64 time trials run using an in game timer so we can compare times. Looking at a game that runs in real time as opposed to in game times, no fair conversion could be determined/agreed upon. In mario kart 64 the grand prix mode for example is only played on NTSC because PAL runs too slowly.
I don't speedrun so I don't have a horse in this race. But it's very tempting to hoard records with that a1a gangbanging just to prevent 1 person to sweep.

@@whenisdinner2137 It might not be Dan's fault in the sense that he can't *technically* be called a cheater for doing that. It is however, completely on him if playing on technicalities like that gets him a bunch of negative attention. I.e. Any comment section about MR or him or A1A being full of people calling him a liar, a cheat, a loser or saying that his achievement is hollow and they have no respect for him. MR was incredibly competitive in the most positive and honourable sense, so next to that there was no way Dan didn't know he'd look like the scum of the earth for essentially cheap-shotting MR like that and backstabbing his own alliance-mates. If you do something that the rules don't prohibit but that you know is a scummy move, you can't be surprised that a lot of people won't be cheering for you if you win thanks to that. You played by the rules (technically) and won the game but people's support and respect isn't part of the rules and isn't owed to the victor. A lot of people's support and respect come from playing with the sportsmanship and abiding by the unspoken spirit of the competition that Dan chose to neglect but that MR won in by a landslide. That's the trade he took: getting the title with none of the respect it would have normally given him.
This "achievement" is so tainted to me since Dan wanted to win so badly that he completely threw competitive integrity to the way-side and spit all over the honor and passion that MR displayed for MK64 and it's scene. After MR grinded for each record and showed everything he had to the community year after year, Dan just shits all over that sense of competition by hoarding 22 fucking WR's and dropping it all at once, knowing it was the only way he could ever even come close to actually achieving holding all the records at once. He chose his superficial victory and achievement over an actual dub that would've meant something, being better than everyone else while giving them a fair shot to even compete. Like I'm glad someone that has enough skill and dedication to actually hold every WR in the game all at once exists, but to achieve it in such a pathetic and dishonorable manner, especially after joining a task force to stop MR from doing it (MR easily could've done the same BS and probably gotten the achievement but he had competitive integrity in mind at least) is so god damn disappointing. I'm pretty sure that Dan speake in favor of A1A, and was basically responsible to denying Mathias his perfect once before, saying it should be achieved with heavy opposition from the community, so I don't get what you guys are talking about. He said from the start that the hoarding was specifically because he wanted to be champ and Mathias would snipe all of his WR, so he thought he would never beat him otherwise. If he had done the same, Mathias would have achieved the sweep years ago. Dan is obviously an amazing player, but this whole deal is pretty ugly to me, even more because I read somewhere that Mathias retired after it.
Meh this is so tainted, not even happy for the guy. Have no respect for withholding WRs and trying to be crafty, if MR did that, he'd easily have had a sweep too.
For those who doesn't know, on June 11th, 2020, Dan unhoaded a whooping 22 world records in Mario Kart 64. The reason? He wanted to be the champ. No, seriously, he hoarded because "he would probably never have been champ otherwise". He hid his progress for over A YEAR sending FAKE TIMES in the meantime. Now, during the road for the 32/32, he really knew that Matthias wasn't going to defend this records like before, so he started overgrinding a lot, doing at least 8 hours of grind a day. Even if Matthias returned, I wasn't really going to mather because he knew that Dan was going to overgrind a lot. Even the A1A was shrunk since the last time, with only four people (MR, Xander, Zoran, TJL).
@WOW THAT It stiffled potential competition, simple as that, and he knew as much given his reasoning for doing so, thus it was premeditated to boot; most of his world records are only legitimate by technicality.
@WOW THAT (to) stifle: to restrain or stop oneself acting on something. The hoarding that he did of the world records that he had essentially prevented the competition from catching up to him while he was already well over halfway to the throne; that's what "stifling the competition" means, and he *admitted* as much. Also, he posted *fake* (worse) records to keep the whole thing under wraps in the meantime; last l checked, it's also not his job to make such fabrications.
“Some people will call me a bad loser when I refuse to congratulate, but Dan lost all my respect last year. And, for me: Sportsmanship > Gamesmanship,” he said. “He feared the fair battle and sneaked to the top so that I couldn’t defend properly, and although he became a very strong competitor it’s a loss.” - Matthias Rustemeyer

To do it like this though? Very sneaky. He played by those rules with the A1A when MR was on 31 and then stabbed everyone in the back by hiding his times.
Le'ts forget about the UNhoarding and focus on the hoarding forever because that's what bad losers do, right? Lmao, all Dan's WR's were beaten again before he grinded for the actual 32/32.

Conquering adversity is the success in and of itself. Triumph over trial. He chose having the title over trying for the title. There's a difference. Matthias knew. Most others knew. He didn't. Maybe he still doesn't. If he doesn't, he truly will have gained nothing.
I feel like most people actually missed the point. If you look at this comment section, and the one from the Summoning Salt video about the history of this game, so many people just go "Ugh what assholes, they don't just let one dude dominate the board like he was SUPPOSED TO! Spoilsports!" about the A1A. And it's like. Why would it be the goal to just get all the records? It's a friendly competition, and I'm sure there are many niche games one can speedrun to claim all the records with little effort, if they just wanna be number one. Yeah, because it's anti-competitive, dishonorable, etc. You might not agree with that conclusion, but those that do are under no obligation to hide it simply because the video maker has a different emotional response to it. By hiding his records and submitting them at once for no counterplay? Can't take Dan serious. MR will always stay the true champion after this kind of bad sportmanship. Pretty interesting watching a documentary about your older brother.
How do you feel about the community's view of Dan?
I think NTSC is generally seen as the standard because most games are designed with NTSC frame rates in mind.
@@MarioLuigi0404 That was not the point of my statement tho ;)
I think it is just because the NTSC region has more people that are into speedruns than PAL, for whatever reason
This is likely due to the fact that MK64 time trials run using an in game timer so we can compare times. Looking at a game that runs in real time as opposed to in game times, no fair conversion could be determined/agreed upon.

Even if Matthias returned, I wasn't really going to mather because he knew that Dan was going to overgrind a lot. Even the A1A was shrunk since the last time, with only four people (MR, Xander, Zoran, TJL).
Which video is this covered in. I can’t find it
The long documentary on my channel, it's also in my mario kart playlist; I'll throw a link to it in the description
@WOW THAT
It stiffled potential competition, simple as that, and he knew as much given his reasoning for doing so, thus it was premeditated to boot; most of his world records are only legitimate by technicality.
@WOW THAT
(to) stifle: to restrain or stop oneself acting on something.
@@Brown95P fake times? explain... cause i believe he has proof videos for all his best times
“Some people will call me a bad loser when I refuse to congratulate, but Dan lost all my respect last year. And, for me: Sportsmanship > Gamesmanship,” he said. “He feared the fair battle and sneaked to the top so that I couldn’t defend properly, and although he became a very strong competitor it’s a loss.”
- Matthias Rustemeyer
so he hoarded 20 records, of wich at least 10 were beaten before he got the sweep so technically he only hoarded 10 or even less times.
and alot of people claim he posted fake records but i think all his records have video proof... no?
@@raafmaat he posted fake records that were slower than the ones he was hoarding so he wouldn't face any competition from the others.
If he achieved this in full view of everyone then it is a hell of an achievement. He himself admitted it would probably have been impossible had others been trying to stop him.
To do it like this though? Very sneaky.
He played by those rules with the A1A when MR was on 31 and then stabbed everyone in the back by hiding his times.
@@turbo8628 the leaderboard requires video proof, how would he submit fake times lol
@@raafmaat you really adding an "lol" to that ridiculous question as though i am the idiot 👌

MK64 speed running is over. Dan killed it off but getting 32/32 in some of the sleaziest ways possible.
Matthias still the champ in my eyes.
Sleazy?
MR is the g.o.a.t Dan is a douche
The mk64 community is the most active it's ever been not sure how it's over
Le'ts forget about the UNhoarding and focus on the hoarding forever because that's what bad losers do, right? Lmao, all Dan's WR's were beaten again before he grinded for the actual 32/32.
A1A did everything to stop MR but just laid down for Dan. Cheesy
So it was not MR? Man kinda feels bad for him. He worked so hard for it.
Dan decided to be a prick and hoard 22 WR's and dropped them all at once, something MR actively chose NOT to do as that would ruin the competitive spirit that drove the MK64 community in the first place.
@@irelicym how is that a prick move
@@luisalpjax3929 Is your IQ below 75 or are you just asking rhetorical questions because you're a lil Dan fanboy and can't face the truth?
@@rudania Chill out he's just asking a question lmao
@@irelicym while that's completely true I'd argue it's something he decided to do because of what happened to Matthias before. The whole concept of the A1A seems kinda toxic to me. Not too sure how I feel about Matthias now joining the A1A.
The MK64 speedrunning comunity is weird.
Edit: compare this to Niftski and SMB1/2J. He's the record holder of so many categories yet the community is not ganging up on him.
If anything we all like Matthias that little bit more now
I'm confused when does the bus come to take the karts to the next track? Does the bus compete in the race?
Mattias is an absolute GOD
The title really gives you a reality check on just how old the games i grew up with are now the retro games along with the truly retro ones. The technology has changed so much I only hope it keeps changing even more than it has in the past
Amazing video as always, thank you for your hard work!
great use of music and narration and just showing clips!
Too bad Dan hoarded records
At least he got them in the first place, unlike you :p
I like how Abyssoft said that Dan finally achieved the 32/32 and then just ended the vid with a "Thanks for watching" and no other words.....
I'm glad I am finding channels like yours
dan has caused some of the biggest amounts of seething over speedrunning i have ever seen.
im mad that it wasnt mathias that got the sweep but still holy shit dan youre an absolute mad lad
Dan Burbank is a teacher at my school
Imagine my disappointment when it wasn’t Matt Turk…
Neat video! Thanks for uploading!
Dan's just warming up the throne for Matthias, that's all. Gratz to him for completing it even if he still gets a lot of (imo somewhat deserved) flack for his previous actions.
Nope. Matthias retired from MK64.
He lost interest in speedrunning MK64 as soon as Dan destroyed the entire competitive scene.
@@rudania Oh i didn't know that. Guess Dan burned the throne down then?
@@omlett6482 He broke the wheel. And incinerated the villagers. And screwed his cousin.
mr is the legend dan in my opinion didn't even "earn" it my man made a legend quit and he said he didn't find it fun anymore
Didn't earn? He went from 0 to 32 again without hoarding lmao
Dan got 32/32 first. He won.
Babe wake up theres a new Abyssoft video
Amazing video! Had me on the edge of my seat!
I hope Mathias gets the first UNTIED 1.0 👀
And the least scummy one
Dan's hoarding tactics made Mattias quit. Once the 32 was achieved, he left the MK64 speedrunning scene. So highly unlikely to happen
MR is back with 15 WRs. I don’t think untied will ever happen though since most all World records are within 0.03 seconds.
We salute Matthias and Dan. Also very probable that Summoning Salt helped make this 32/32 happen.
I play this game casually every day… these times are crazy to even imagine. What a gamer. Holy yoshi! 🤯🤯
I respect the mk64 speedrunners because they kinda just wake up and get world records sometimes
The world of world records is intense!
Yeah its definitely a lot easier to do something like this when you stifle competition
Dan the best Mario Karter of all time, cry about it.
He's the *GOAT*
people make it sound like he totally cheated and that the unhoard made him instant winner or something, wich is not the case as he only unhoarded 20 records over a year ago, and most of those records even got beaten since then (between the unhoard and the sweep)
@@elroy462 Put yourself in MR's shoes. Imagine you have say have half the world records. It comes time to picking a track. You could play one that you're better at, merely improving your personal best, or challenge a different course to get closer to the 32/32. It's easy to see why hoarding made his achievement unremarkable, especially since defending it is easier when some big names in the community quit speedrunning after the fact, especially MR
MR is still the best of all time, a public 31/32 is much more impressive
i feel like you video style best resembles summoning salt‘s out of the creators ive seen. nice job
I have legit never heard anyone pronounce "preface" the way you did in this video. I've heard it pronounced "Pree-Fays", and I personally pronounce it "Preh-Fiss", but never have I heard someone combine the two pronunciations 😂😂🤣🤣🤣
thanks for the upload. summoning salt do be laggin tho.
"You cheated not only the game, but yourself.
You didn't grow.
You didn't improve.
You took a shortcut and gained nothing.
You experienced a hollow victory.
Nothing was risked and nothing was gained.
It's sad that you don't know the difference."
Dan's missed the point. Success isn't the goal. Success absent of the adversity shrouding it isn't real success.
Instead they pushed each other to heights they wouldn't have reached without all this. It's just sad how it all came down in the end...
@@umbaupause This isn't about A1A, but about Dan in particular, mate.
@@okamileek006 Yeah I phrased it badly maybe. My point was that what Dan did is the actual scummy way, as opposed so the A1A that kept the competition alive in a cool way. If Matthias had done what Dan did, there wouldn't have been an A1A at all.
So that is why Dan's behaviour was garbage. I tried to put it into perspective.
@@umbaupause See for me the A1A was the starting point of it NOT being about friendly competition and rather justifies Dan's actions (though less so as he was part of it vs MR), the A1A brought meta gaming to the table and it was then used against them.
Sucks to be them I guess.
That’s insane when you consider these are non-shortcut and have been being speedrun for a quarter of a century.
This feeling when the overall tone of the video is positive and then you drop into comments and...
so much salt
Yeah, because it's anti-competitive, dishonorable, etc. You might not agree with that conclusion, but those that do are under no obligation to hide it simply because the video maker has a different emotional response to it. Matthias encouraged the A1A despite it being dozens of people actively trying to undermine him. To be a part of that alliance yourself, only to covertly make it so that same alliance can't be formed against you, is clearly a scummy move.
@@Arcessitor I actually agree with the salt and this makes me re-evaluate the fact this vid exists and its tone. I consider the way this was done bad enough for it to not be touted in a way Abyss does.
@@Zekses Just to clear it up: I did not mean to say you were on one side of the fence or the other, just replying to the obvious implication of the post.
Beacuse this guy’s actions must not be celebrated. He literally killed an entire community and did disgusting hypocriting stuff, and now we celebrate him for getting records when no one was even competing? Personally, I don’t have respect for Dan and never will. This is sad, not something to celebrate.
To quote Scrubs' Dr. Cox...
"There’s nothing wrong with a one hitter there Barbie. In fact, it’s miraculous... and I won’t have you of all people cheapen what should be an endless pursuit of perfection just because you want the world to laugh with you tonight..."
...really puts Barbie's 32/32 in perspective.
Dude, super pro intro
It's unfortunate Dan had to do this. He could've been known as one of the best Mario Kart players. Instead, his name's officially tarnished forever and he's already forgotten by almost everyone, outside of remembering his scumbag tactics, while Matthias is still considered the unanimous GOAT and true 32/32 record holder by everyone. It's sad to see. Years of his time and life quite literally down the drain for nothing. This is Esports' version of the 1919 Cincinnati Reds vs. Chicago White Sox World Series.
Great video!
Now to wait for Summoning Salt to enter the chat.
The insane thing is: More than 6 weeks later, Dan is STILL at 32/32.
well Matthias retired, and the two were basically in their own league, so Dans 32/32 is gonna stand for a very long time unless abney or VAJ grind some non-SC record, which I doubt.
That's because Dan killed the community.
@@hendy24 Matthias didn't retire at all, he's just acting like a bad loser and is streaming MK way less frequently, but if I hope he stops acting childishly and gets over Dan with the same honor Dan got over his mistakes: by grinding live.
Very nice video. Thank you!
What is the glorious background music at 9:15??? I really want to add it to a playlist.
next, getting the shortest time to do every single race in one take. Also, setting up every race counts
Amazing video!
Dan is the worse. Matthias will always be the king
What an incredible achievement!
Obviously, I don't hope he'll keep all of those records but I'm glad he was able to finally achieve a full sweep with all of the efforts he put into it. It was well deserved
Dan should have just kept the records to himself, not tell anyone and hoard them until he got all 32. Would have made it a lot faster that way.
Pretty much what he did apparently
thats what he did lmao
Thats what he did
The problem is that goes against the spirit of the competition between the community. Matthias could have done the exact same thing but he didn't because it's kind of a jerk move
@@Danz009 if you had watched the video properly, you'd see that he let the "unhoarding" happen first, but no, Matthias fans have selective hearing.
I remember being so salty at the end of summoning salt’s video (hmm was the salt intentional given the channel’s name?) at the end of the history of mk64 speed running and the goal for someone to get all the records. This news delights me so :)
Yes, but I just found out it kinda came with a poor sportsmanship.
Dan hoarded 17 records and uploaded them all at the same time. It didn’t the break the rules, but it’s kinda against the spirit.
@@RalstigRacing nah that’s smart. Good on him for finding a way to get all the records without provoking the A1A as much as he could have. The records themselves are all legit and that’s all that matters.
@@robertm5110 Going to have to agree to disagree.
Other players could have done that, but chose not too.
I think it’s against the spirit of competition. Dan would know that. He worked with the A1A.
@@robertm5110 totally agree, pushing the limits in competition is what people do.
@@dossey5174 That is true. I wouldn’t want to win that way.
By hiding his records and submitting them at once for no counterplay? Can't take Dan serious. MR will always stay the true champion after this kind of bad sportmanship. Sadly he retired, so Dan achieved to kill the competetion and gets glorified here? That's a weak attempt to rehab him for all the viewers who don't know the story behind it.
Why does Dotman sound like Mario? XD “I did it , I did it, I did it!”
This was great
The A1A is the goofiest shit I’ve ever heard of lmao. Just a shadow collective of hardcore gamers who Gotta protect their speed run records. I love it.
Danny boy got his precious 32/32, but at what cost, huh? Burned all his bridges, pissed off his pals, and for what? Some shiny record that's gonna feel hollow as hell without his buddies to share the glory. So yeah, he won the game, but he sure as hell lost the respect of his friends and the community. And lemme tell ya, respect is worth a hell of a lot more than any record. Matthias may not have the 32/32 title, but he's got something Burbank seems to have lost along the way - integrity.
Dan really just fought matthias for so long and then just did the same thing???
Edit: oh my god its worse than i thought
Good liked it. I'd like to see a little more animation of making a timeline. the ending felt just mmwee rushed that your video didn't feel like celebratory. 8
Daniel Burbank is such a clown. Even though it’s a great achievement, it feels so lame. I feel like he kinda deserved all the hate he got tbh

I liked the spirit of competition. Good job though, Dan.
THESE CLOWNS STOPPED MATTHIAS FOR NOTHING???
No Way, I watched Summoning Salt original video on the battle to stop Matias I can't believe Dan pulled it off

The A1A failed. Matthias is MK64's Perseus!
This sounds like Wade Vs the Sixers from Ready Player One haha
Lol I won the gold medal!
Also I have no idea why no one else was competing.
Damn I feel bad for Mattias :
Why? Dan let all his records be beaten before going for the 32/32 again
Just invent a new category. He's no longer perfect.

There should have been an a1a against dan too
I hope you can get as big as Summoning Salt, you really deserve it. Great video.

The A1A should disband to show respect.
hello you absolute legends
I said it before the video went up, but I’ll say it again: Dan does not deserve the glory. period. its bad enough he cheated, but whats worse is that he KNEW it would hurt Matthias. That’s what boils my piss the most. That he went out of his way to hurt someone just to take a title. Well congrats Dan.
