Hello and thanks for the video .. exactly on 4:15 when i do the forth finger and left it up it makes the third finger forced to curve and feel like weakness .. do you recommend any exercise to fix this ? by the way I have the fingertip of my third finger slightly cut when I was a kid which makes me use it without pressing or grabbing the strings hard . hope to get a Help from you.
Well, first off, give it time. These exercises are long-term development and both your mind and body need time to adjust. Also, practice them without playing the right hand (just the movement of the left hand) so you're doing it without tension. Tension is usually the cause of most problems. Make sure to see my other lessons in case your positions are off: www.thisisclassicalguitar.com/lessons/
I've just spent 5 minutes screaming at the screen saying "HE DOES IT, HE DOES IT, HE DOES IT" like a little kid at Christmas. I'm referring to your Pinky and Index finger and how they bend outwards. You are the first person I've seen do that, I also do it. Am I wrong in thinking this is common? At first I assume it was just because I'm a beginner and it would go away as I gained control of my fingers but then I saw videos of beginner who did not do it. I looked at your newer videos and your fingers look much more "normal" are they or does it just look different? If they are what have you done to help it? I've tried to stretch it but the bone prevents me from doing so very well, and when I try to "workout" the muscle I fail because there is none there, it is literally impossible to move any amount, unlike say lifting up my ring finger which although hard, is possible. Anyways, sorry for the long wall of text, I just found that really exciting.
Really great lesson. Helped me a lot, and will be part of my regular practice from now on. Thank you!

If you play these exercises higher up on the fingerboard, would hand elbow and arm position be more or less the same?
A little easier on the positions, I actually recommend starting up the neck.
@@Thisisclassicalguitar actually I meant in first position....thanks
You're a great player. How long did it take you to play so clean like this and how much did you practice each day?
A long time! But my students play well in much shorter periods of time. Having a proper teacher really speeds up the process by years!
