I feel that gladiator or gladiator type sandals cut off the leg, especially with a skirt or dress. I feel they work way better if you are tall and have long legs.
I think they look good an any height if they are more neutral color (skin tone) or skinnier straps. But I know a lot of people feel that was as well and thanks for sharing!
I agree with you on the sandals. I think ANY shoe that’s either; minimal, thinner, or skin color always looks better with a slimmer silhouette or less clothing, like in summertime. Final look should always trump trends. 😊 I’m not ever for super trendy, huge platform, or stilettos…it’s just not classy whether it’s in or out. The twenty year olds can have those, we know better now😉 Great video Jamie!🌻
I hate both platform shoes and stiletto heels, both are long past their time. Especially the “classic” pointed-toe, nude, stiletto-heel pump with casual outfits, yuck, I haven’t actually seen a woman wear those since the early 90s, and then only a very few for corporate offices. These aren’t supposed to be worn for day, anyway, and I don’t understand why they would tolerate such discomfort. My office was a very conservative and dressy corporate one, but our stable, square, 2-inch or so, heels looked so much better, IMHO, plus we could actually walk.🙂
@@kimberlyperrotis8962 I DEFINITELY opt for comfort with a stylish balance. I agree with you on your first point but I still love a nude point toe pump, it’s classic…. But not super pointy and only 2in heel 😉 Really any heel in the office looks nice now a days since tennis shoes are acceptable🤨 I’m sure yours are lovely!🌸
I need to wear sandals with covered heels with wide-leg trousers, the pant legs always get between my heel and the soles of the sandals otherwise. I might try what you’ve used here, an ankle-strap style. But, they must be in a pale nude, ivory or white; dark-colored sandals look awful next to my pasty legs.

I keep saying the same thing, but really, thanks for all the great ideas!
You are so welcome!
Great video, Jamie! And you're getting ever closer to 50K subscribers! 😊❤
I wish it would move a little faster, lol! Thanks so much for noticing! 💖
Great video!
Thanks!

Awesome shoe ideas!! Thank you so much+🎉
I enjoy your videos very much, Jamie. Have you done one on belts? Should I wear one if I don’t really it?
Thank you so much! I have not done a video on belts. If you don't like them, no, don't wear them.

I love your top. I'd love to know where you got it. 😊
It's from Loft and I linked it in the description.
@@YourGuideToStyle Oops, I looked but I must have missed it. Thanks!
Shoes don't show properly, if you could make close up video that would be great.
Ok, thanks for the feedback.
This video is about shoes…I can see the outfit but not the close look of the shoes
Thanks for the feedback!
