I absolutely love ballet flats, and I'm keeping my black round toe pair. But they will come back and style again some day LOL. I did buy a new blush colored pair that matches my skin tone that I'm obsessed with. My girls are lifelong ballet dancers. The ballet flats are a round toe, but the pointe shoes are a square toe. So either one is a classic.
I totally get that. I don't like them all either but I do try to be open about trends for my channel and try new things. Everything eventually comes back and the round toes might be back next year who knows! Thanks for sharing!

I've come to really appreciate a kitten heel. It elevates your look without killing your feet. I picked up a couple pairs of low-shaft boots with kitten heels and pointed toe for fall; I can walk in them all day and style them up or down. Yes, I think a lot of kitten heel shoes look silly. I especially do not like kitten heel boots. That being said, I have silver sling kitten heel shoes that I bought about 15 years ago that would be totally on trend right now. They have a bit of a squarish toe and a fabricy pleated look on top of the leather with a leather buckle strap across the front. They are quality made in Italy leather shoes. Even though I generally dislike kitten heels, for some reason I really like these shoes. They are the only kitten heel I have ever liked enough to buy. I have not worn them in years because my lifestyle is a bit different now than when I bought them, but I remember I always got compliments on how cute they were everytime I wore them. Don't like the weird unbalanced heels either.
Hi Jamie! I am really struggling with what type of boot to wear with a wider leg jean or utility pant. I live in Canada where it is very cold and snowy for many months of the year. A ballet flat or even a sneaker is not really a viable option in the winter months! I am very casual so a heeled ankle boot would just be too dressy for me for the most part. I always feel like a moto style boot looks odd with a wider leg opening. Maybe it just takes some getting used to? Would love your opinion on this! Thank you so much.

I think small feet can pull off point shoes but if you have a size 8, it makes your foot look like a size 10. I've only been able to find two pairs of pointed shoes ever that didnt make my feet look more long and narrow than what they already are lol. Also, i think slouch boots look very outdated. Theyve been cool since i was a kid but now, they just dont look contemporary. Another one, i like the ballet flats but they cant be the short toe flats that barely cover your toe bones. I ❤️ pointed toe shoes!! I'm excited about the new trends. I never wore flats even when I was pregnant. Sneakers are for the gym, at least to me. Shoes, are my addiction 👠👡👢
Thanks! Mine too!
You are the first person to make me consider Western boots😊as it was a firm NO to all the other ones I had seen.Great selection, thank you🙌🏾
You are so welcome! They are pretty cool this year!
Love the pointed toes. I have a Beautiful suede pair of flats made by Hush Puppies. More comfy than they look. ❤
I am glad you like pointed toes! I love a good comfortable flat.
Combat boots are a forever classic in many aesthetics
Wear what you want and makes you feel good!
I agree!
Confident and intelligent women don’t need to follow trends.
??? Does anybody else have an issue wearing a sling back? i don't have a bone that protrudes on the back of my foot. It is flush. So the sling moves up and down and the shoe becomes a mule. How do you keep a sling back from doing that?
Same here! Look for slingbacks with a little section of elastic on the strap. There are some out there!
Cowboy boots are very big in NEW YORK right now. Especially white and Red this summer.
Your blouse is absolutely adorable. As regarding shoes, I have aged out to wearing sensible walking shoes with arch supports. My days of wearing fashion shoes are over sadly
Love the taller shaft booties. Looks great with cropped jeans
Me too!!
Love this BUT I don't see the link to the pointy toed and buckled, kitten heeled Walmart boot! Please provide❣️
Makes me want to make courdaroy, leather jackets for my sneakers
I ❤pointed toes😊
I agree with everything except the boring basic white sneaks. I still think they are timeless style. Except for maybe white keds 😂
I'll be wearing both white sneakers (New Balance, Air Jordan and Adidas) as well as a pair of super comfy red Adidas I thrifted! I think someone got fooled and thought they were real, and donated them, brand new. Me, I don't care that they're dupes. They're comfy and well made! Lol
Thank you! I'm looking for Mary Jane's for my MIL's funeral next week. I went with a squared -off toe because I hate pointed toes. I think they're more modern looking than what I've got so thank you.
Hi Jamie I just wanted to share some feedback that I hope is helpful. I love shopping your links but I often have a hard time clicking on them because it keeps clicking on the hashtags instead. Sometimes it takes 4-5 tries to get to the links. I don’t know if other people have this problem as well. Thanks for everything you do! ❤❤
Live in the northeast sling backs in the winter are not happening.
I paid for them, I will wear it all!
The red cowboy boots are a different look. The white boot was interesting too. Enjoyed this look at fashion changes you’re seeing. Helpful to know when buying something new.
