@OC3D
Glad to see this GPU become available in the UK.
I can only see it on Newegg so far
at first I was like "oh, damn, British accent" to which I am not all that well accustomed, but then I went "eh, nice pronunciation" (obviously, eh)
thanks for the review and highlights against greens
and cheers
Great stuff, knight rider. I had the full replica street hawk outfit if you remember that one. :)
I do remember streethawk. Never managed to get a model. Night Rider and Airwolf are in the collection though
The best sapphire nitro+ on market at the moment! Perfect cooling and high frames. Prising is also rlly good for mid range builds.
great video, great data, great purchasing guide. now i know the nitro is actually worth it, thanks
Great! Thank you 🙏
I have a question regarding the size of the Pulse OC card. On Sapphire's site, which I assume should have the correct measurements, its listed at a length of 320mm but I see other stores list it as short as 280mm which seems pretty small. Can you enlighten me pls?
it is 320mm
7900 gre nitro+ or 7900 xt pulse? Please help me I'm very undecided
xt for sure
all sapphire are great the nitro + is the most customization the pulse is the coolest to run and the pure is the white one
personally i got the pulse and would not look back, you can pc and it will perform almost like the 7900xt on par 4070 ti and 4080
@@TheNightmareTroll Thank you very much for your advice. I bought the 7900 xt pulse model and I really don't need anything else. It was the right decision.
An 11°c temperature difference, that alone should be enough to justify spending a little extra on the Nitro+ version. It's a no brainer IMO.
it's not anything anyone cares about, Pulse is one of the best designs on market for these GPUs
Do not forget that it's on factory fan speed setting which usually not that great
Awesome Cheers Guv!
Use timestamps.
Does it have the ARGB connector some of the Nitro+ cards had in the past?
No pure ? :(
AMD's mechanism to shift slightly inferior chips?
Isnt just AMD
its pretty normal to reuse inferior chips for lower tier models, thats why most generations start with their higher end models. no matter if AMD, Nvidia or Intel, everyone does this
what a hotspot temp?
Good video but, I prefer dismantling images of the cards.
Isn't that Nitro got more copper plating? Like on top of mem modules that is better than Ni coated Aluminum. Pulse backplate is painted black, no thanks, prefer naked Aluminum backplate. Ni coating and paints is a no for rads and backplates.
Nitro range use to have heat pipes and contact plate bare Copper and now, is damn coated with Ni and Zn alloy >>> very bad thermal conductibility.
650 psu and no prob
why 850 or 1000 thats way to much
i have 650w also what you would get nitro or pulse?
you dont NEED 1000 watts but its good for eficency as power supplies work best on about 50% load. that being said, a quality 650W PSU is fine, Im using 850W right now.
@@hannes0000 doesnt matter, the difference in wattage is minimal.
This is a budget 7900 card or what really should be a 7800xt at launch. I don't see a point paying extra for a higher brand 7900gre lol
but on most places they are on same price xD
It can be overclocked better now, plus a better cooler=room thats not hot as balls
TEMPS?
But i think xfx7800xt merc 319 will beat the sapphire 7900 gre pulse !
$550 is still too MUCH for GRE !
Make it $500 (and the 7800XT $450ish) then the cards will fly away from the shelves... 👍
So what it's just a difference between 50 bucks
@@chocwahhe is a bot spamming that comment on every gpu video
Or you just watch to much computer stuff lol
Radeoin gpu's are soooo UGLY these days! WTF?
10:50: brah, that chart is wack. I wouldn't have published it.
thank you tom
Finally after searching for ages a video where i can compare the size of the GPU so i can decide the final decision of buying
A bit late but. Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 7900 GRE cost about 680$ for me and Sapphire NITRO+ Radeon RX 7900 GRE cost about 800$ for me. So I will take the pulse.
in my country the price difference between 7800xt and 7900gre is around 14 $ so no point in buying 7800 😅😅
thank you so much for this!
An entire 7900 GRE review without a single 7800 XT in sight, which is like the obvious competitor. For shame.
nah its not really. The 7900 out performs the 7800xt in every single aspect.
Plus he is doing exactly what the video says he is doing - comparing the two products.
Why not just watch a 7900GRE vs 7800XT video….😑
