@@LouisCapps-p3z I know, but my nearest Hobo Freight is about 60 miles away. I dont like throwing tools away when I coulda just got a quality one. Also having a quality tool makes work more enjoyable.
Hey buddy. File a claim with Craftsman either on line or phone. Its easy. They will send you a new one. If you still don't want it pass it on a young tech. I have no issues with my 1/4" 3/8" 1/2" ratchets. It can take up to 3 weeks to get a new but it will come. File the information on line, send a photo attached. That's it.
@@LouisCapps-p3z I dont really understand why 12 pt is so popular. It baffles me that you can only get 12 pt in 1/2 in stores for chromies. Considering 12 pt strips more and you usually need more torque on 1/2” it doesn’t make much sense to me. Only time ive actually needed one was a 12 pt 13mm head bolt on a Toyota 5SFE. Ive inly taken a couple heads off before but I was told 12 pts are more common on head bolts.
Agree. Craftsman, Husky, are just a few companies that make 12 point 1/2" only. I don't get it either . As I mentioned back when I stated wrenching I did not own or use 12 points ever. Why are 12 points so popular baffles me. I am a older Toyota specialist and have never used any 12 points. 😮. Maybe someone can comment on this trend. I wouldn't trust a 12 point on a fastner.
@@MrZulusniper Thanks, I dont have a garage to put the box in and no way im leaving it outside. Ive only seen one other guy with his box in his room. Probably not a great idea to have the chemical drawer in my room.
I also have the Pittsburgh pry set. Remember if you break it free replacement
