i happen by pure luck to see him and his partners in Montreal for the Jazz Festival in total pouring rain all the way through....( nobody left although tons of us had NO umbrellas ) and i was marked for life. The set was just insane. I screamed for joy like a girl at a Beatles concert for minutes...as i enjoyed my luck. I played bass while splitting a bill w him in Ghost Note, went to say hi and thanks, and one of the standout things he said was “I saw you”. I wasn’t invisible when I didn’t want to be. It was special and I was glowin’. There was probably another compliment in there too. True gentleman and a great artist.

Nope. Message is too wholesome and his style is too unique. He will always be beautifully underground. Making it for him would be song writing for mainstream stars. The only way I could see him being integrated into mainstream is with silk sonic(Anderson paac and Bruno Mars) but that won't happen with the stubbornness of his visual style and his stubbornness is what makes him great.
