Scotland has a PYRAMID

- In our latest video, we relax over the xmas period with friends in a quiet location before heading north on another adventure. We head along the Glenshee pass towards Braemar and then onto Balmoral Castle to go visit Scotlands Pyramid, Price Alberts Pyramid.
The history of the largest and most famous Cairn was that it was erected by Queen Victoria in memory of her husband Prince Albert after his death in 1861.
With the night closing in and another storm approaching, we head across the high passes in the mountains and retreat to a park up in Tomintoul.
Hope you all had a wonderful Xmas and look forward to seeing you on the next video soon as we he'd towards the Cairngorms and Glen Coe for new year!

@@PackTheVanAndGo yes mate hope you did 6 hours to get to dalavich because of the snow though should have been 2 and half but worth it i suppose 👍🏻
It ain't none too warm or dry here but I love watching the cold crisp weather of your Scotland videos. The frosty pyramid was something else and you would never see that in Egypt.
Yeah had never been to the pyramid before, so glad I got to go this time! Have a great new year mate!
🏴👍👍👏
Thank you 😊
Love the channel
Just a quick question where did you get the zip panel cover at the rear doors ?
Thank you, got all my insulated screens from a company called Webbnet Flyscreens, all custom made 👍
Do you close the cab vents when it's that cold brilliant video,.?
Which cab vents are you on about?
@@PackTheVanAndGo on the dash there are 4 in all for heating the cab and defrosting the windscreen
And blowing cold air in the summer, I thought if open it would cause a draft into the cab
@@rob20452 I have thermal screens that come down the bulk head, they block any cold that can happen in cold climates during winter.
@@rob20452 here's the video of the thermal screens mate; ua-cam.com/video/H8cR5hNH8v8/v-deo.htmlsi=NMMveva2_z8-zhpE
Whats the story behind the small pyramid?
Im not too sure of the whole story mate, guess thats for google! But def worth seeing! Happy new year mate!
@@PackTheVanAndGo and you matey
You leave the diesel heater on all night?.... I'm a bit iffy about doing that.... We have one of these Chinese heaters in our van and often in winter, it could have warranted leaving it on, but ..... eeek lol
Hi, I have a Chinese diesel heater and yeah when its cold, leave it on all day and night, sorties even when driving, that what they are designed for. Never had any issues apart from being too warm at times at night. HNY 👍
@@PackTheVanAndGo Im going to buy a C02 detector and leave it on....Do you get a ticking sound with yours? I think its the fuel being dropped that makes the sound....
@@AnomalyResearchersUK yeah that’s the fuel pump, the noise is the pump pumping… a co2 detector is definitely a must when living in a van!
@@PackTheVanAndGo I believe some people have changed the pump...Not sure whether that did the trick, though?
@@AnomalyResearchersUK most people try to change the exhaust system to a quieter one… the pump is the pump… but you get used to the ticking noise over time!
