He had a great heart, a friend of him says he used to walk in the cold winters and sit down with homeless on the sidewalks and pray with them, then buy a bottle of gin for them and sit down and pray again. If you watched "The Cure" you really see his heart through his eyes.

      I read that during production of this film, Larry Clark found him right before filming all strung out at his house... arms bleeding from shooting up (he was supposed to stay sober for the film) and Larry basically kidnapped him into detoxing. Like straight up locked him in his car and drove across the state while he kicked cold turkey so he could be straightened up when they started filming. That could be part of his animosity towards him here, too.

    • @mywhychromosome
      @mywhychromosome 3 роки тому +6

      @@XavierRed69 Yeah, he actually turned several of the photographs, when he first got to Brad's Knoxville home, of him prepping the dope, drawing up, tying off, and banging it up, into a surprisingly moving photo-montage, which I believe is just called "Brad". You can find images of it online in some cases EDIT: Apologies, it's called "Knoxville"

    It's so shame he had to die,25yr..too young to die and too good to die.
    He was amazing actor.
    He couldn't had good relationship with his father,idk about his mother,after he became famous,he contacted with his father and started living together..it didn't work.
    And bad friends,he was into many drugs..
    He dided when he was all alone in a house..How sad..
    And his ex?wife is actually Japanese,and his only son is living here(japan)

      @@midnightjj2280 you can still be an addict with pain pills. People are addicted to pills all the time and die... that how many heroin users get to where they get. From a prescription.

    How come all these talented cool young actors die of drug overdose, what a waste of life. such a shame.

      Maybe because its thrown upon them when very young. Can't handle it. Too much money and drugs readily available.

      Mark Harrison as a southerner myself, I don’t think he really “lost” it so to speak. He had just been in California for so long, he got used to how they talked up there and the way he talked just kinda fell in with it. If he would’ve went back up to Tennessee (his home state) and stayed there for a few days, he would’ve picked it right back up. Also, with him being an actor he probably did try to lose a little bit of his twang so he could get more roles.

    It's strange that Nick was given the role of Bobby Kent, when Bobby Kent was a steroid body builder, whereas Nick is probably 5'6" 110 lbs soak and wet. He should have switched roles with Brad, since Brad was a lot bigger than Nick in body mass/size.
