As a Donatello fan, I had a pretty decent bo staff for a kid that lasted through many years of destroying enemy foliage. For my friend who liked Leonardo we broke off part of a metal rooftop antenna that had a workable hilt, then hammered the hollow shaft flat for a blade. For sais we found triforked tree branches and cut them at the right lengths. Never did make nunchucks though...
For something they cobbled together, the look and expressiveness of Tokka and Rahzar to this day is incredible. These animatronics made the CGI monsters that replaced them seem crude by comparison.

Man, I remember being obsessed with all 3 movies as a kid, never occurred to me that 2 was any less great than 1. I was obsessed with that vanilla ice dance fight scene.
I loved those Hostess Turtle pies!! Green icing on a pastry, and filled with super sweet custard. So sweet all the kids, (me) at the bus stop, flung half of it on the side walk to avoid a stomach ache at school.
I'm old enough to have been a Turtles fan from the first issue, before it was "cartoonized", and loved how the first movie straddled the line between the more mature books and the kid-friendly stuff. This one? Not so much.
I think the first movie did a great job balancing the comic side and lighter side. Imagine what it would of been like if the parents didnt get involved in the second one.
I was ten years old when this movie came out and I actually thought it was more fun than the original. Then again, I came into the franchise via the cartoon rather than the comics, so my idea of what the turtles should be was more fun than dark and gritty.
Props to flippin the beginning of "A Tale of Two Cities" into something sensible for this!! As a Leonardo fan as a kid, I was definitely disappointed about the lack of weapons use in this one, but still enjoyed it overall.
I was 8yrs old/almost 9yrs old when this came out, so I was the target audience. Never really noticed that the turtles didnt use their weapons until many years later. 😅. I loved the movie because Super Shredder, Toka & Razar, Vanilla Ice, and that opening credits sequence with all that beautiful NYC pizza!
Because they made it look like the turtles were just having fun when they used salamis or punching dolls or whatever... it FELT like they were fighting and having an action moment. They did a decent job covering it that way.
Being raised by young parents on horror movies, I remember still thinking, "I don't think I could imagine Leo or Raph strait up STABBING some foot soldier kids." I had no idea about the comics at the time.
I remember reading a comic (not the original ones) where they encounter the FootClan for the first time, and started punching and kicking. They then realise they are fighting robots and shout something like, "hey! We can use our weapons now!"
I grew up with the turtles I watched the show live as it aired, I saw the 2nd and 3rd movies in theaters as they released, I had one of the turtles steel lunch boxes, I had pajamas with the turtles on them I even had one of the halloween costumes and multiple toys of them. That was a great time to be a kid.
"And next time I'll use MUSTARD!!!" is one of my most quoted movie lines for reasons unknown Honorable mention to "BABIES!! THEY ARE...BABIES!! AAARRGGHHH!!!"
Even as a 10 year old, I remember being let down at the sudden shift in tone. It was around the same time the TMNT cartoon replaced Mikey's nunchucks with a lame grappling hook. And that pissed me off cause Michaelangelo was my favorite.
All I remember of the sequel was the Vanilla Ice cameo with _"Go Ninja, go Ninja, go...!"_ As a UK resident, we had 'Hero Turtles', with the edited intro, and scenes featuring Michaelangelo holding nothing during fight scenes. The films did use 'Ninja' in the title. Away from the subject at hand, Bruce Lee's iconic Nunchaku scene from 'Enter the Dragon' was banned from all media up over here until the 2000's.
The UK went full-on stupid during that time. _Teenage Mutant "Hero" Turtles_ is such an asinine change that it makes me want to spit down at it with contempt.
@@JanetStarChild Yep, indeed. The word 'Ninja' considered 'too violent'...? WHAT? I recall a story about a kid who put his foot through a glass patio door, and the show was blamed for that incident.
This movie has a special place in my heart because of the age I was when it came out and how much I loved the Ninja Turtles and the first movie. I saw this movie in the theaters with my best friend and I had so much anticipation for it I bought the novelization of it and the comic book version of it and when I watch the movie I absolutely loved it. At the time fourteen-year-old me liked Vanilla Ice also. I'm sure I watched it on home video quite a few times hadn't seen it until last year it came across the streaming service and for shitz and Giggles I decided to turn it on and I realize that kids have no idea what's good LOL. The scene in the beginning where the pizza delivery kid beats up the guys robbing the place is one of my favorite things and I wanted to be that kid. But man this movie did not hold up over time. Some movies stay good forever and some movies are bad two years later and this is one of those. But I cannot stress enough how much I love this movie and how much I loved the Ninja Turtles has a whole. I wouldn't go back to being a kid again but the memories of the way I felt when I first watch this movie and how much I loved the pizza delivery guy beating up the bad guys before the Ninja Turtles come in used to give me shivers. I was a shy fat kid and I always wanted to be some kind of ninja secret agent Ladies Man even though I was always just watching movies and playing by myself LOL
One thing I never see anyone mention about this movie is Shredder's poses. In most scenes he's in he's in one of his iconic poses from the original cartoons. For example, in one shot when they're all in the junkyard, they cut to Shredder and one arm is by his side with a clenched fist and the other arm is pointing. I never noticed this as a kid when the film released but only noticed it about a year or so ago. Really cool throwback to his iconic poses.
In high school, a bunch of friends and I cut class and decided to head to the theaters to see New Jack City. I on the other hand convinced them that we should see Secret of the Ooz instead. From that day till the remainder of high school I had to wear that scarlet letter.
Found it funny because never noticed it until another channel pointed it out but the 3rd movie is only called TMNT 3, Turtles in Time is the SNES game but the movie VHS had a tag line saying "The Turtles are back... In Time" which probably helped the Mandela Effect.
I just literally re-watched this movie last night.(I had a FEW drinks) lol. I love the first TMNT (1990) movie and am nostalgic for Secret Of The Ooze.
The sequel is goofy as hell, I don't think anyone can deny it, and the original is a much better movie overall. But I still love TMNT 2 just the same. It still has the greatest joke in cinema history: "It's quiet" "Yeah, a little TOO quiet" (Don sneaks up on patrolling foot soldiers and knocks them out) "That was easy!" "Yeah, a little TOO easy!" (The turtles approach the middle of the junkyard and spot Raphael tied up) "Look, it's Ralph!" "Yeah, a little TOO Ralph!" Tell me that's not the most amazingly clever exchange you've ever witnessed in a film?
As a seven-year-old, I loved the sequel and thought it was so much more fun and upbeat that the original. As I grew older, I realized that the first one had a much better story overall but I still have a fondness for the schlock of the sequel. And part three really isn't that bad. It gets the same unjust hatred as the third "Back to the Future".
The third Back to the Future movie is great and in a different class than these movies (yes, even the first one, which I love). I think that a lot of times, people just dog the third film in a trilogy because they resent it being over.
I'm starting to think the real secret of the ooze is that "Turtles in Time" was only the subtitle of one of the games, not the third movie. But that's something that's kept on the down-low among fans, so you didn't hear it from me!
I got this movie on VHS for my birthday and watched it on repeat, I was obsessed. To the point of having the trailers before the movie burned into my brain as well.
The second movie was definitely a drop off for the kids growing up the turtles. That's when we realized the movie was for "the fans" but for as many consumers as possible, all at the tender age of 12 lol. The video games, especially the arcade edition, kept us going like the comics. For those that don't know, truly missing out if you didn't catch the last ronin.
Same here bro. I hated this film at first and went back to playing the games. I think the cartoon had gotten wack at this point as well. Each season was weaker than the preceding one.
As a proud owner of the Neca Tokka & Rahzar set I endorse this video. I love TMNT 2 and honestly prefer it to the original. The original is still good for sure but IDK SotO just spoke to me more.
I remember watching this movie a lot when I was a kid... And for the life of me, I can't remember a single thing about this movie, except for maybe the final scene with Super Shredder. The costumes still look pretty darn sick though, Jim Henson's creature designs are absolutely timeless.
I was definitely in that camp, where as a kid, I really loved the 2nd film way more, mostly because it was goofier and silly. As I got older, the 1st film became WAY more appealing and interesting to me thanks to the grittiness, realism and more adult humor and violence here and there. Though, even as a kid, I hated that 3rd film.
Really~ looking forwards to the third movie being covered, truth be told. Loved it as a kid, but man, what a strange movie if you aren't ten and blinded by turtles.
There are still people who try to attach the Turtles in Time subtitle to that movie even though it NEVER was ever called Turtles in Time....To the point that some of the like 2015 blu-ray releases have actually also tried to stick that subtitle in there.
@@lutherheggs451 yes! I just commented on this video wrongly saying “Turtles in Time” as well! Turtles in Time was an arcade and console game and was awesome. Turtles 3 is a disappointing mess. (Sorry Matthias, no offense intended.)
How does everyone think the third film is literally called Turtles in TIme?? I dont care why, its just disconcerting that so many dont recall that that was an arcade game, and TMNT 3 Had No Subtitle
It's very weird. I got a DVD set of the movies in around 2009 that has "Turtles in Time" printed on the cover for 3. Even people involved with an official DVD release just assumed that was right without checking, I guess?
I loved the snapping turtle. When I was younger I didn’t even notice that they never used their weapons (and I’m pretty sure they didn’t even punch or kick anyone. Maybe Keno did?). I was disappointed that they recasted April; not because I loved Judith , but I just didn’t like the inconsistency.
The inconsistency is what matters. As a kid I was *always* able to tell when they changed voice actors on cartoon characters and it always bothered me.
While I feel like the original 1990 movie still holds up really well with its more serious tone, Secret of the Ooze definitely falls into the "so bad it's good" category. As a kid back then, it was one of the greatest pieces of cinema ever, but even today I can watch it and always get a few laughs.
Loved Secret of the Ooze. I remember our local tv station made a big event of it at one of our local theaters sponsored by Fox Kids Club, complete with an appearance by Homey D. Clown LOL ( he was actually one of my classmates dad that worked for the tv station ). I always saw ths first as an adaptation of the Mirage comics and the second as an adaptation of the cartoon and loved them both. And the soundtracks were 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 ( I still bump them to this day ). Third movie was Hot Garbage though. My favourite turtle movies are as followed ; TMNT 1990 Turtles Forever Secret of the Ooze TMNT 2014 Great video as always Dan.
I like TMNT II, because it was good cheesy fun, especially love seeing Vanilla Ice in the movie! Also I called those two villains, Bebop and Rocksteady because they were supposed to be in that movie, since I watched the cartoon show.
Hi Dan and Crew, German here. I grew up with the "Hero Turtles" all the way into my teens til i picked up the OG Eastman and Laird run in English and got very confused. And fyi: "3 ninjas" was called "Ninja Kids" in germany, the "American Ninja" movies were known as "American Fighter" over here (Michael Dudikoff 4ever ❤❤❤) and Surf Ninjas was called.... Surf Ninjas. Hope that helps, love from Germany NOW PLZ DO AN EPISODE ON WINSPECTOR ALREADY!!!!
When was that? Maybe its because I've never liked rap, but that was nails on a chalkboard for me.....I was busy listening to things like Metallica around then but Ice, Ice Baby was always awful and he stole a Queen song for the beat.
People can say what they want about TMNT II, but I Friggin' love it! Yes, we know the parents wanted the film less violent, but we got some hilarious gags, cool new baddies and a Friggin Super Shredder! Jim Henson would be proud to see how vast the puppeteering techniques has improved and the fantastic array of details in each costume!
@@lutherheggs451 whose 'they'? I'm just speaking about my love of TMNT II. Also we all know the horrors of TMNT III; they're the worst! Man those turtle suits were abysmal.
My parents never freaked out over the Turtles. In fact, my dad would happily help us make the weapons out of household items when we asked. The most we got was "just don't knock anyone out with these."
Baxter and the mousers would have been so good. But how would you be able to add Tokka and Rahzar to the story. Mutated bad guy animals was more of Shredders thing.
I have fond memories of this film and still watch it with an ear-to-ear smile to this very day. A lot of people sour on it because of how goofy and cartoony it is, but that's how I took it: A loose adaptation of the cartoon. Hell, a LOT of the younger generation love to skip it or diss it to look cool, and that's not fair. It's decent, it's lighthearted, and if watched right after the first, feels like a feelgood side story to that narrative. As a kid, I enjoyed this immensely, even going to Pizza Hut right after. Yeah, I managed to have an amazing experience going to see it, so I'm biased towards it. But even if, TMNT2 is one of those films that everyone could agree, "understood the assignment": It's a fun marketing showcase popcorn flick that could've, and should've, been the epic big-budget follow up the Ninja Turtles deserved. All I know is that if any semblance of TMNT2 ever comes on TV, and my parents are around, they smile. That's enough validation for me.
@@ReverendMeat51 Oh man, I totally forgot that Pizza Hut used to have pool tables! Going to pizza hut and playing arcade games was the best as a kid, especially when my pizza hut had the 6-player X-men Cabinet
Where other UA-camrs just talk about Magic Spoon I love how you guys turn it into a whole production in itself. I came here to see the Magic Spoon commercial and I stayed for the turtles video :D
I still like this movie. I grew up on the '87 cartoon, liked the 2003 cartoon even more, and loved the 2012 cartoon even more than that. Wasn't a fan of Rise of the TMNT. But I look forward to seeing how the next incarnation changes things up and pulls me back in. Thanks, Toy Galaxy Crew!
I can still feel the disappointment in my inner child when "Tonka and Razer" (actual quote from me back then) showed up and not my beloved Bebop and Rocksteady.
I was a kid when this first came out and LOVED IT. Much more than the first. I also jumped around kicking my parent’s furniture. That ending with Vanilla Ice was a blast. I had it recorded on VHS from NBC’s movie night, but my sister recorded over the end for the Mariah Carey early 90’s Christmas special. I finally saw the full end about 5 years ago. Ah memories.
Can’t help but wear the nostalgic glasses for this one As a 6 year old when I first watched it Can’t help but love this movie My first movie I ever watched was the first tmnt a year earlier Always a special place in my heart for this one
Can confirm that the 3 Ninjas movie title wasn't changed in the UK. The change of Ninja to Hero in the cartoon theme song was as awkward as the change in the graphics too
The best thing this movie gave us was The Super Shredder and while he didn't last very long in the movie,it was an amazing design that did lead to his awesome re-design in the 2012 series.
Secret of The Ooze is definitely fun to watch! It's a good kick back movie. I love to put it on when I'm feeling down or had a rough time recently. I see it as comfort food for my brain, it's the best turtles movie to truly relax with. Also I do find keno kinda relatable would've loved to actually hang out with him if he were a real person!
I loved this movie. When I was a kid I watched the vhs over and over and over. I loved the trailers for suburban commando the Burger King kids club commercial and that movie step family that changed its name. This is my empire strikes back and I’m not sorry. I loved it.
I finally got to finish watching this.. on friday 4/15 my dad suddenly died from a massive heart attack at 63 years young. My dad would wait on line at kb toys to get me new turtle toys and new when the truck was coming he spoiled the shit out of me with everything from tmnt to batman to star wars legos etc but i loved secret of the ooze and he had bought me a super shredder figure that i just loved the most. Saturday I went to the mall to clear my head and was walking to the end of a hall and on the wall were 2 paintings of bulldogs, he had one and loved them so i sat there for a minute to take it in. I turned around to notice a game stop behind me so i went in and as soon as i got in i heard a kid say "daddy look its the super shredder". it took everything i had to not drop to my knees and cry. I truly want to think that was him. now this movie means that much more to me. love this channel for always keeping the best parts of my childhood alive and adding to it with info i never knew. thank you guys for giving me something to watch to shut off my mind today.
I remember as a kid when Mikey lost his nunchuck (or as we said… numbchucks) and got the grapple hook. It sucked BUT TMNT 2 was watched 3 times a day when it came out on VHS and I LOVED it.
Those Turtle Pies they made to tie into this … those keep me awake at nights craving them. I even collected all the cards that came with them. Oh Turtle pies … I miss you so!
I'm actually watching Secret of the Ooze right now(also watched the first one before it), 50 minutes in at the junk yard where the guys are trying to save a tied up Raphael
Great video! A minor correction: the BBFC is an independent body, not part of the government. I was obsessed with the cartoon (and the Archie comics) and had no idea they were called the Ninja Turtles until Andi Peters accidentally used the original name on Children's BBC. I knew they were ninjas, though - I think the word was still used in the show, just not in the title. I'm pretty sure properties like Beverly Hills Ninja kept their original titles. Nunchaku were consistently censored, supposedly after kids started blinding themselves with homemade 'chucks while imitating Bruce Lee. Even the sequence in TMNT II where Michelangelo wields a chain of sausages was cut. In the cartoon, I distinctly remember the Turtles' introductions being truncated: "Donatello, with his bo staff! Raphael, master of the sai! Leonardo, with his deadly swords! ... And there's Michelangelo!"
Thanks again for providing so much information related to the back story of the production. I didn’t realize how the franchise had to change the name due to censorship outside the U.S.
I'm in my studio getting it in at the moment ..will watch with supper..love your show and I'm glad to see how far you have come in 5 years it's great !
When I was a kid, I had this 10-15 minute long VHS tape that had a music video for the Ninja Rap, as well as a behind the scenes interview with Vanilla Ice.
i still love this movie. i'm sure my parents died inside when they heard their 8 yrs old son yell, "what the hell is this?" in the packed theater when Tokka and Rahzar showed up instead of Bebop and Rocksteady. I was not happy with the change at the time.

Looking back, how did I not notice that they NEVER use their weapons while fighting?
Same reaction here. Watching it as a kid I never noticed, but when I watched it again as an adult it’s glaringly obvious ahah.
"Cold cut combat!" Mickey's nunchucks.
I remember stories of kids trying to go down into the sewers to find the turtles. This problem needed to be dealt with by the parents.
We would be shown the movie IT. And it worked
I was 10 and remember the theatre was packed, turtle power! Such an awesome time
"And next time I'll use MUSTARD!!!" is one of my most quoted movie lines for reasons unknown
Honorable mention to "BABIES!! THEY ARE...BABIES!! AAARRGGHHH!!!"
2 of my favorites but who can forget "COMBAT COLD CUTS!" and "THE MISSING LINK!" lmao
"We brought insurance!" "Yeah Mutual Splinter dude!!"
There are so many... I like: "a little too Raph", "wax-on wax-off mouth off!", "I wonder what those are fooor...", "I never got to see Paris!", ... XD
"You want a pickle I'll give you a pickle!!!"😂
I say that all the time.
Even as a 10 year old, I remember being let down at the sudden shift in tone. It was around the same time the TMNT cartoon replaced Mikey's nunchucks with a lame grappling hook. And that pissed me off cause Michaelangelo was my favorite.
Oh yeah! I'd completely forgotten about the grappling hook...
I actually still have that vhs of this movie and the first one along with a working vcr to play them on, and they both play pretty well til this day!
I can still remember waiting the weeks and weeks for it to be available on VHS then finally getting it. It was like Christmas to me.
Holy crap! Left the comment before I watched the whole video. The fact that the VHS holiday commercial break happened is perfection!
A few drinks is the key to enjoying the movie properly
Decent sequel. Not on the same level as the first film but you know, it's ok.
And after watching the 3rd, I got more appreciation for the 2nd
Well said
Well it helps Secret of the Ooze seem better after that god awful third film.....
@@curbydinobot8633 two wrongs don't make one right.
One problem. Its not okay. Its terrible.
The sequel is goofy as hell, I don't think anyone can deny it, and the original is a much better movie overall. But I still love TMNT 2 just the same. It still has the greatest joke in cinema history:
"It's quiet"
"Yeah, a little TOO quiet"
(Don sneaks up on patrolling foot soldiers and knocks them out)
"That was easy!"
"Yeah, a little TOO easy!"
(The turtles approach the middle of the junkyard and spot Raphael tied up)
"Look, it's Ralph!"
"Yeah, a little TOO Ralph!"
Tell me that's not the most amazingly clever exchange you've ever witnessed in a film?
I do love that! I used that joke for things for years to come and only some select few understood the origin.
Hate to be this guy but...
*Raph
"Raph"
There's only one L in Raphael
@@Kenny-wr3ky hahahha
Love that line. My favorite in the movie.
As a seven-year-old, I loved the sequel and thought it was so much more fun and upbeat that the original. As I grew older, I realized that the first one had a much better story overall but I still have a fondness for the schlock of the sequel.
And part three really isn't that bad. It gets the same unjust hatred as the third "Back to the Future".
as a fan of puppetry 3 is physically painful to watch compared to the joy of the first 2
Part 3 killed my tmnt soul and will never get over Leo having tennis racquets
You were onto something until that last part. TMNT 3 is unwatchable and killed the franchise
The third Back to the Future movie is great and in a different class than these movies (yes, even the first one, which I love). I think that a lot of times, people just dog the third film in a trilogy because they resent it being over.
@@WaitingtoHit yes, as in the not quite as good as TMNT class
Ditto. SotO is like a 90 minute long party, start to finish; guaranteed fun.
Judith Hoag is the best April O'Neil ever.
She really nailed that role.
Seeing it as a kid- the feeling hit me hard, knowing I was no longer a TNMT diehard fan. Luckily the Power Rangers helped the shock a bit.
@@lutherheggs451 Yeah, as an OG that has grown up with all 3 90s live-action films, that fact has ALWAYS bugged me..
The Angry Video Game Nerd covered Turtles III. He did an extremely thorough job of it.
How does everyone think the third film is literally called Turtles in TIme??
I dont care why, its just disconcerting that so many dont recall that that was an arcade game, and TMNT 3 Had No Subtitle
I know, right?! I was saying to myself when I heard that, "that's not right".
I loved Paige turco as a kid but as an adult in all about Judith Hoag
The inconsistency is what matters. As a kid I was *always* able to tell when they changed voice actors on cartoon characters and it always bothered me.
While I feel like the original 1990 movie still holds up really well with its more serious tone, Secret of the Ooze definitely falls into the "so bad it's good" category. As a kid back then, it was one of the greatest pieces of cinema ever, but even today I can watch it and always get a few laughs.
"I don't like you watching those violent turtles, Billy. Go watch your Rambo or Robocop cartoons instead. "
When I got older it dawned on me like "wait a minute, they never do tell us the 'secret' of the ooze"
"Turtles in Time" was never the official title for TMNT III. People get confused because of the videogame.
Holy shit you're right 😳😳😳
AVGN taught me that.
4:11 oh how that takes me back. That could easily have been me in that shot.
Same 😅😅
I will never apologize for saying this was my favorite of the live action Ninja Turtles movie to this day.
Loved Secret of the Ooze. I remember our local tv station made a big event of it at one of our local theaters sponsored by Fox Kids Club, complete with an appearance by Homey D. Clown LOL ( he was actually one of my classmates dad that worked for the tv station ). I always saw ths first as an adaptation of the Mirage comics and the second as an adaptation of the cartoon and loved them both. And the soundtracks were 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 ( I still bump them to this day ). Third movie was Hot Garbage though. My favourite turtle movies are as followed ;
TMNT 1990
Turtles Forever
Secret of the Ooze
TMNT 2014
Great video as always Dan.
"Sequel Turtles in time" Sigh... TMNT 3 was not called that
I have that tape still with the box and still in good condition. I'm pretty proud of it lol
Hope that helps, love from Germany
NOW PLZ DO AN EPISODE ON WINSPECTOR ALREADY!!!!

That brief moment in time when Vanilla Ice was considered the coolest person in the world. So brief it didn't last in time for the movies release

Yet they screwed over the Henson company when the made the third and actually believed the company who told them their suits would be better.
@@lutherheggs451 whose 'they'? I'm just speaking about my love of TMNT II. Also we all know the horrors of TMNT III; they're the worst! Man those turtle suits were abysmal.
@@LowellLucasJr. even Casey Jones couldn't save it...
@@napoleonwilson6499 makes me cry Casey got wasted in a crappy film...damn parent groups...he shoulda been in 2!
Shit I'm already nostalgic about the idea of "going to pizza hut". Like back when stuffed crust was new and they had pool tables
@@ReverendMeat51 Oh man, I totally forgot that Pizza Hut used to have pool tables! Going to pizza hut and playing arcade games was the best as a kid, especially when my pizza hut had the 6-player X-men Cabinet

I love so much that you used a picture from Waxwork for David Warner. Such a great movie. 🤘
Where other UA-camrs just talk about Magic Spoon I love how you guys turn it into a whole production in itself. I came here to see the Magic Spoon commercial and I stayed for the turtles video :D
10 bucks a box. No thanks.
I dont blame the content creators, they gotta make a buck somehow but damn that's pricey for cereal.
Born in 87, I loved Turtles 2 and Predator. Wore those tapes out man 🤣🤣
I still like this movie.
Can’t help but wear the nostalgic glasses for this one
As a 6 year old when I first watched it
Can’t help but love this movie
My first movie I ever watched was the first tmnt a year earlier
Always a special place in my heart for this one
EXCELLENT choice of screen grab for David Warner.
Point of order: TMNT 3 was not subtitled "Turtles in Time." That was the name of the SNES game released in 1991.
TMNT 2 SOTO will forever be my favorite of the 3 and one of my favorite movies of all time. A comfort movie through and through.
I wanna see the Turtles Music Career covered in the future.
So much Cheese.
The Cheese will never be fully cleaned
Loved this movie when I saw in theaters when I was 8. I can still remember it watching it in theaters… twice.
I remember as a kid when Mikey lost his nunchuck (or as we said… numbchucks) and got the grapple hook. It sucked BUT TMNT 2 was watched 3 times a day when it came out on VHS and I LOVED it.
I was too busy…….playin’ “Bad Dudes” !!!😮😮😮😂😂😂 We had to save the President !!!
No one made movie sequels faster than
Toho back in the 60'
The ninja rap made it for me. It was my first tmnt movie and its will always be my favorite. Plus, Super Shredder yo
Another great show!! Week 2 of asking for a Stompers 4x4 episode.😁

I love Secret of the Ooze. It was legitimately the first Turtles media I ever saw. It don’t hold up at ALL now but I still enjoy it.
The most memorable moment in Secret of the Ooze was Vanilla Ice's performance while the Turtles were fighting and dancing.

Pretty sure it was Leonardo who said that line at the end of "TMNT 2: Secret of the Ooze".
Even as a kid, I preferred the first movie to the sequel, but I still watched Secret of the Ooze a lot. The third live action film, not so much.
i still love this movie. i'm sure my parents died inside when they heard their 8 yrs old son yell, "what the hell is this?" in the packed theater when Tokka and Rahzar showed up instead of Bebop and Rocksteady. I was not happy with the change at the time.
Tokka and Rahzar were way cooler monsters, tho
