Are you brave enough to face the mountain when visiting Animal Kingdom? And did you get the chance to see the Yeti animatronic in its full glory before it switched to B-mode?
This is one of my favorite rides at AK, Yes I have seen the Yeti in all it's glory!!! Sadly my children are old enough now to ride it and enjoy it and I have to show them video of the Yeti in A mode since all they have ever seen is Disco Yeti! I told them they may never fix it but we can always hope.
Alicia Stella I did get to ride it with the Yeti in A mode i consider it quite a badge of honor as a theme park enthusiast. It was quite the sight to see in it's full working glory.
I've thought for a while that if they can't restore the yeti to its full A-mode operation, they could probably at least make it a lot better-looking than it is by just changing the lighting. Those strobes may increase its mystery, but, speaking personally, I can hardly even see the thing--when I'm on the ride it doesn't really register as even being a yeti. There's just an unidentifiable something with strobe lights flashing at it. They could probably do something with projection mapping, like the new nighttime shows or the Mickey and Minnie ride they're building at DHS. One of the best moments in the ride as it is involves a projected animation. Surely they can give the yeti some illusion of motion and an animated face by just projecting something on it. Call it B+ mode.
They do have a soft orange light on him all the time now, so you can still see him, even between flashes. It really helps you understand just how big the yeti is!
Here's another fun fact, if you've ever watched Destination Truth on SiFy, you might know of the Yeti episode. Josh Gates found a yeti footprint, cast it, and it's now on display in the ride queue
It is probably my fav park..not for the kids but for me..I love queueing up..it feels magical..they done a great job..that's one thing Universal don't do as well.
i thought the ride was in disneyland! knowing it’s in florida now, i’m gonna have to start planning to go there, since the yeti is the most impressive piece in many animatronic lists and i’d sure as hell love to see it.
They have a plan to fix the yeti. I was at Imagineering a few weeks ago and they said that it would take 6 weeks and is likely to happen within the next year and a half
I totally remember seeing the dragon and was curious why it was there. Maybe in the future we see a new section like a mythological creature one like it was originally intended even tho we have Pandora now.
some of the people in my head (i like to think my brain is a community of people) say the support of the yeti animatronic is still not fixed to this day
Second favorite behind DINOSAUR. Once I ride the Flight of Passage, this might be my third favorite as Flight of Passage will be either my second or number one favorite ride. I sure hope they get the yeti animatronic fixed soon.
Kinda makes you wonder if they should've asked Bob Gurr for his help...he did create the original King Kong for USH...and that animatronic lasted a long time
Ugh I'm so nervous to go on this ride. I haven't been on it and my mom always tells me the story of how sick she got when she went on it. I'm so scared I'm going to get sick and not going to be able to go on other rides. I'll probably be able to handle it because I went on rockin roller coaster but who knows. I'm probably going to die xD
Expedition Everest is considerably gentler than Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. (It's the _second_ most thrilling Disney World coaster after R'n'RC, but it's a significant gap between the two.) If you can handle that, it should be no problem.

Your narration & voice is pleasant to listen to. And, I learned a few things about the ride that I was unaware of. Great job!
Thanks!

Oh yea totally! I saw that while I was editing, so I included a clip of that footprint cast at the very end when I say that the legend may be true!

They have a plan to fix the yeti. I was at Imagineering a few weeks ago and they said that it would take 6 weeks and is likely to happen within the next year and a half
I can't wait! Although, I will be sad to see the ride closed for a month and a half, but it'll totally be worth it.
Wow all of that was interesting but I am shocked about the moving Yeti...I had no idea that was a thing before!
And hopefully he will move again... someday!
I was so scared to go on that ride that I wouldn’t even look at the promos. Now I love it!!!!
Enjoyed it. Living with the land would be a good ride to cover.
Love that ride. Still feels like original Epcot!

Mitchell Ries flight of passage was legit, queue was cancer
I'll be the judge of that when I ride it.
Mitchell Ries dude when you go trust me you’ll love it, was a real cool ride as long as you don’t have vertigo or some shit
Kinda makes you wonder if they should've asked Bob Gurr for his help...he did create the original King Kong for USH...and that animatronic lasted a long time
Disco Yeti
Space Mountain
