i watched this video when i was a kid and this makes me so nostalgic! the way the camera smoothly intertwined throughout the waiting line, and the random rocks that have become a part of the track!
I watched this when I was like 12 and addicted to RCT3. After years of making roller coasters and parks on Rct3, and now being 18 years old and in college studying mechanical engineering so I can become a roller coaster designer, coming back to this video just reminds me of those days playing Rct3 and watching your recreations of rock n roller coaster and expedition Everest. Thanks for the great video :)
This is awesome. I've never played roller coaster tycoon, but I know all games of it's type have major limitations. This is beautiful, honorably close. I'm a sherpa on Expedition Everest, and I know this ride like the back of my hand. I've walked the mountain many times. This is great.
Oh god, I feel the nostalgia coming back to me; I tried countless times to recreate Expedition everest in RCT3, and really looked up to this one as the benchmark in RCT3 coaster design. Thank you for all the great memories!
I remember watching this and thinking this was the coolest ride in RCT3. I watched this video after I rode Everest for the first time back in 2012. So I see my opinion still stands today, holy cow this is beyond impressive.
That was absolutely amazing. I am just starting and I am still trying to wrap my head around exactly what I want to do, therefore I have yet to build anything, lol. This coaster is truly inspiring. Great Job.
This has been the best recreation I've seen of this ride. When I went to Disney World, this ride was still under construction, so I didn't get to see what it looked like until I looked it up on yt. I can't wait to see what you come up with next.
Incredible. You did a spectacular job. The sound effects (wind, screaming and the train), the scenario was also very good. All CSOs are used are essential and you used perfectly. Congratulations
Goodness! I rode that for the first time back in March, and I have to say, you made me feel the actual feel of the roller coaster! I had chills the whole time! Thanks!
for someone who cut corners on design, this is incredibly accurate. especially when you consider track length. everything matched up perfectly with your audio. well done!
They were still building EE when I went to WDW in 2004 so I haven't personally ridden it but I have watched POV videos of it and this looked great. I liked the way you faded between day & night shots when going in & out of the mountain. Great job.
Ah so the finished version! Your right it is better than the previous one I commented on. I really applaud your ability to create such a life like ride and line in RTC3. In the line I got the feeling that I was really waiting to board and while the coaster was actually moving I felt that as I anticipated every bank, up, down, and turn that it hit right on the money. Very good recreation of the ride and scenery. My stepdad viewed this and said this is amazingly accurate and inspiring.
Surprisingly, no. Again, the Imagineers are SO GOOD at making you feel like you're doing some insane elements there, so we have to give them a ton of credit. I don't know the exact angle of the bank, but from what I've seen, it doesn't really exceed 60/70 degrees. Cool, right?
No worries. At least you're being polite about it and asking questions that haven't been asked before =) ...... and the CS is from shyguy's Circus Center Set (1 and 2)
Yes i noticed the Yeti museum is a bit different, (went on a vacation about a year ago, i went in the standby line once, i remeber it so well lol) its very hard to get a perfect recreation so great job on the ride.
Speechless.....That was simply amazing! I love it! Great work once again! Man, you make everything in RCT3 incredible. That was close to perfect considering the limitations in RCT3. I've been on Everest 34 times and you've gotten almost everydetail! Love it! The only thing that bothered me was the mountain. But then again, it's RCT3! You really inspired me to come back to RCT3. Props to you. 5/5
it's already in the video description. once at the link, click on the "Custom Scenery" icon on the menu bar and search for Reaver (listed alphabetically). His set is called LR - catwalks. It's there
goodness, did you download every CS known to the game? JK! LOL! you did an excelent job! i see you solved your mountain outer shell problem by using the rocks. Smart. it looks great. i've never been on the ride but from pov's and other people's recreations, it looks like you did an awesome job. even the queue looks great. awesome job
I'm going next month & I'm so curious about this ride. Every video I've seen has been too dark to get an idea of what's going on. Thank you for making this, at least in this video you can tell what's happening!
thats so cool! The ride at disney scared me sooo much! The yeti was all RAWR!! and we were all AHHHH haha i sound really weird. Anyway I like the Matterhorn Bobsleds better because the yeti there (people call it harold) isn't expected and it shocked me more then it scared me
I worked in Animal Kingdom. I promise you that there are no inversions on this coaster. I've even walked the track. There are only banked turns. The roller coaster is designed to make you FEEL like you're going upside down because of the sequence of G-forces. The banked turns are systematically designed to give the illusion that you're upside down. If you don't believe me, I understand, but I promise you I'm a reliable source. You can also check any official online references, like rcdb.
Of course not. Nothing wrong with having the wrong information. I'm not happy I was called some names but I'm sure it wasn't anything personal. Actually, most people think you go upside down (again because it feels like it), so next time you overhear somebody saying "we went upside down!" you can confidently tell them the right information. ;)
Awesome job. I've not had the chance to visit the real thing but I have seen many videos on UA-cam and you did an awesome job. Wish I had the skill and patience to build that well in rct3. I started my own Disneyland recreation but it's so difficult.
imagine if that whole like waiting line thing was full of ppl...that would be an EXTREMELY LONG WAIT!!! its worth it though...ive always wanted to get on this ride...
@bill19641 I promise you there is no loop. I've walked the track with the lights on. Lots of people think there is though. The dark can really play tricks on you, and the Imagineers really make a convincing helix but the ride does not actually do an inversion. If you want to check your sources, visit the Roller Coaster Database online and check it out for yourself.
You need to use the Extended Coaster (available only on the Wild expansion pack). You can choose from several different trains, including this one (hyper), floorless, standup, twister, etc.
i watched this video when i was a kid and this makes me so nostalgic! the way the camera smoothly intertwined throughout the waiting line, and the random rocks that have become a part of the track!
Thank you so much for coming back to watch years later! This was such a kind message!
for whatever reason, i watched this for hours on end as a kid. endless nostalgia.
how many other people skipped the waiting line part? I know i did
EccoH not a fun experince actually
EccoH it’s none of your business
Me
EccoH the que is part of the experience
Not me
This is amazing, I can't believe you made this in only 3 months! Great job!
I was on Mount Everest (The ride) in DisneyLand and when i got off i was like, "Oh my god i feel sick!" But now i wanna go on it again!!!

This is so nostalgic thank you for creating this masterpiece
This is AMAZING MAN !!! This is one of my favorite rides, now that you made it in RCT3 I love this ride even more!!! Nice Work!
That was absolutely amazing. I am just starting and I am still trying to wrap my head around exactly what I want to do, therefore I have yet to build anything, lol. This coaster is truly inspiring. Great Job.

Why don't you move up to no limits??
You've definetely got the drive for it
No limits is expensive
this IS DA BEST EXPEDITION EVEREST RECREATION ON UA-cam!!!!!!
This is still the best Expedition Everest RCT3 remake on UA-cam rn so far even though this was 12 years ago.
This is absolutely awesome!!!!! I really respect you for taking the time to do this Thanx!!!!
Wow! I'm glad both of you enjoyed it! I know I did a good job when a frequent rider says it looks amazing!
definitely the best RCT3 ride remake I have ever seen!
This is incredible. You put a huge amount of work into this! Very talented. I really want to go on this ride now!
Thanks!
what a relief! Lol Thank you and I think that wraps up all my questions.
give this person a medal
I love the real roller coaster, and this one is nearly indistinguishable from it. Awesome job.
This. This is the video that made me a coaster enthusiast. Thank you
Ok its a nice coaster but why did you let the wind in its realy anoying
HD_boy12 HF also your spelling is annoying.
Turn off the volume!
HD_boy12 HF - Dead Channel it's realistic and it's hard to take out and lave the other noises in

Thank you! Always glad to hear that from a Cast Member!
U ROCKKKKK!!!!!!! U really did a LENGENDARY job working on Expedition Everest: LEGEND of the Forbidden Moutain! I love it!
Not as bad as i thought would end up. Excellent recreation.
omg! its the best RCT3 custom scenery i seen!
@imagineer0998 this is the best expidition everest remake ever! keep up the good work!
for someone who cut corners on design, this is incredibly accurate. especially when you consider track length. everything matched up perfectly with your audio. well done!
that was freaking perfect!

1 of the best re-creations i've ever seen I love how the way you got the noise from the real coaster with the Yeti etc Excellent 1000/1000
THAT WAS INCREDIBLE!
Amazing! Loved the night and day changes from going in and out of the mountain. Keep it up!
Excellent work. Lots of nice details.
BEST ROLLERCOASTER EVER!! love it so detailed
The best ride ive EVER seen ( on rct3) SOOOOO clever thats a realy good design I think theme parks should take that into account.
Ah so the finished version! Your right it is better than the previous one I commented on. I really applaud your ability to create such a life like ride and line in RTC3. I loved this!! It has great detail and it is one of the best RCT3 versions I have seen. Great job!!
awsome work!
all of those rocks, DAMN!
5/5
Good job! I love how you got the station announcement in the video, along with the rest of the sound!
Surprisingly, no. Again, the Imagineers are SO GOOD at making you feel like you're doing some insane elements there, so we have to give them a ton of credit. I don't know the exact angle of the bank, but from what I've seen, it doesn't really exceed 60/70 degrees. Cool, right?
wow...
i like how you combined the coaster with the mini railroad track
very good
That is amazing! There is so much detail! Good job!

@Dmode444 Was teasing of course great job! Loved this ride to death.. one of the highlights of my Disney trip.
Awesome...great work and effort...I just don't understand how there can be 27 dislikes for something that someone put so much work into doing.
that was a well good recreation
My mom works at Disney thanks for posting this video dude
Gavin Jacobs Vlogs cool what Disney does she work at

i love this ride its so fun
really like your coasters mate:) I wish I had as much patience as you have.
I play RCT3 myself, and honestly, I can't do ANYTHING like this. Amazing!!! Good job!
I would of gone on this ride for real if the line wasn't really long the whole day
just go through the single riders line
I agree, I live with a family of four and to speed things up we go through the single rider line
Wait till night right before it closes Disney World nobody will be there. I rode it 2 times in a row like that
Morris Is Amazing just get a fast pass really early! I did that and went almost right away :)
matthew carbonell there isn't a single rider line🤦♀️
This is sick
wow that was really good!! make another one like that!
hahahaha. I'm sure Joe Rohde was looking that deeply into a RCT3 recreation =P and i do have flags at that stop just maybe not in a specific location
But the Everest coaster is an engineering marvel in my opinion.
Thanks so much! I do the best given all these limits, as you already mentioned. =)
How amazing was that?!
