Used to be a hack for fixing old gpus by putting them in the oven to remelt solder.
I didn't even realize that there was another version of my favorite Goemon game on the n64 for the gb.

I’m wondering if it would’ve worked the first time since it naturally takes a while for the Konami logo to show. The reason I say that is because the Nintendo logo was clearly visibly the first time, which generally doesn’t happen if the cart isn’t working. It’s usually either a black bar, or distorted in some way.
I feel it would've popped up in time. I've had others that show the Nintendo logo clean but then not play the game.
What temperature do you set the iron at to touch up solder points? I would imagine you keep it on the lower side.
I crank it up to 550 which is probably why too hot but I'm quick about it.

The real question is... is this game really wort saving? :D Genuinely one of the worst games I've ever played.
You must not have played very many bad video games in your life if this game is one of the worst you've played. To each their own, I suppose.

And as a side note, I have played and beaten all Goemon games, and I love most of them, but this one is just horrible.
This is the most overrated series in the history of video gaming: there are just so many works derivative of Double Dragon that are better than it -8-bit and 16.
