Thank you so much for this review! You have saved me time and money, I had ordered the smart version but cancelled and ordered the stainless steel non smart version instead. I realised we did not need any of the features of the app, and I'm not sold on the Uvc features as I'm pretty thorough with good hygiene of our cats fountain. Approve of the stainless steel top on both fountains and the £60 difference saved I bought several packs of filters as they never last a full 30 days. I also prefer that the plug is separate on the first version. Thank you so much!
Your channel is just fantastic for first time Ragdoll owners! We are gonna get our three Kittens, Freya (blue mitted), Nerina (chocolate point) and Echo (seal bicolour) end of October when they are around 18 weeks old. So excited!
i am so confused .money isnt an issue in here, its more about time for me. i see so many mixed reviews about the smart one. what should i take what would you guys recommend?
Thank you for the review. Question off the subject-there is a cat tree over your shoulder-can you please tell me where you got it from and what brand it is? Thanks again.
I got the plastic one cause I liked the colors. My cats love it. Since seeing your review, I think I may switch it for the smart one. It looks really nice 👍
Does it have to always be plugged into the socket ? Can it be used without plugged in? Can it just be charged up? I love it and so will my Tilly but plugging it into a socket will be an issue. Great video and thanks for showing. I’m defo interested in buying one and been looking for a fountain for her…
Thank you for the video. My ragdoll, Diego ( blue bicolour) is 15 months old and before I got him, I had watched many of your videos and they really helped me take care of my cat. Maybe I'll buy a fountain for him in the future. I have to change water a few times a day ( at least 2-3 times) because there's some dust and fur in his bowl.
Thanks for the guidelines of new water fountain. I used to have a traditional Catit water fountain which has a shape of a vat. It had a light function. With a very adorable appearance of new water fountain named after the model cat of Catit. I have it purchased. Both are in stainless steel. With a concern of cat chin acne (symptom is numerous black dust or very fine black particles concentrating around the chin area, and NOT black dirt-like on the entire fur coat which might be waste of fleas and needs vet exam and more serious and diligent medical attention), Catit should have stainless steel for the colourful version too. Although cat chin acne‘s etiology is not too certain, the veterinary study believes it as an allergic reaction of plastic contact by the feline. Like food or water bowls. However, there seems to be no controlled research on plastic and feline. Avoidance of plastic is safe and healthy. The techno and much more expensive one is with WiFi for remote operation. The techno includes dry food feeder too. It is a balance between convenience and possible malfunction in remote control.
Our cat Sebastian is in love with our Catit Pixi fountain, it's not unusual to find him sleeping next to it! Both our cats drink from it often so that's great! The only thing I would point out is that you have to clean it weekly if you don't have the one with sterilization as mold can grow otherwise. Sometimes I go a step further and empty and refill it mid-week without cleaning just to keep the water as fresh as possible.
I indulged and decided to spoil my new sebuir fur baby in late February. Well ... I did not expect having to change the filter after less than 3 weeks as it started getting pink"ish" and leaving that same pink residue all over despite changing, rinsing and drying the unit every day. The underwater pump got slimy every day. The light stopped working affter less than 2 months. I am very disappointed.
Mine broke after a year. The isolation to the electrical chord tore so it was unsafe to use as that part would be under water. Store did not offer any solution.
Do you recommend more than one fountain in a multi-cat home? I’ve got a small apartment. Also, my 1 cat reacted poorly, got cat acne, from the Petlibro water fountain. Which fountain would you suggest? Finally, what is the annual cost of maintaining these fountains, that is, buying filters etc.?
It depends on how much your cats drink from them. If they don't drink that much, I don't think a second fountain is necessary, especially if you only have a small space. Any fountain with a stainless steel or ceramic top would be better than plastic for a cat that struggles with acne, same as bowls. The filter is supposed to be replaced every month, 12 filters per year, which is £18.
Like your video, thx for sharing! After I bought the smart fountain, I looking for videos and I want to ask you about your smart fountain. Do your fountain fits perfectly and is the upper a bit wobbly or steady? Thank you in advance, have a great weekend with Pixie and Bluebell✌️
I love your channel! I’m finally getting my first Ragdoll in exactly one month, he’ll be 13 weeks old and I’m somehow starting to get nervous. The longer I wait the more I overthink everything 😂 How did you cope with leaving the cats in the flat alone for the first time? Did you do any training in that regard?
I used this channel for the one month lead up to my cat too! She’s also a rag doll and I got her at ten weeks, she was fine being left alone, no training required, as they are fully equipped at this stage to look after themselves, probably wanted an answer from them, but I just had too!
We spent the first week at home with them, making sure they adjust to their new environment and we kept watching out for any hazards. It was very hard leaving them alone to start with! 💗 we’re so excited for you, the stress is totally normal, it’s a big life event! But we’re sure you and the kitty will be absolutely fine 🥰
@@PixieandBluebell thanks for the reply!! I’ve taken time off work now too and we’ll be getting him this coming Wednesday. Still can’t believe I’ll finally be a cat owner after wanting a cat so badly for years 💕💕 your videos are a massive help too so thanks for that 🥰
Hi! I love your channel so much and I've been following you for a while to get tips and such, as I recently got my ragdoll kitten. She is a blue bicolour and her name is Hatsuki (it means moon), she's 19 weeks old now. I also have another cat, a domestic longhair called Hoshi (which means star) ❤ @hoshi.hatsuki
With all the promotion you guys do for Catit, it’s nice of them to name their new fountain after your cat 😆

Do you have to put the app on your phone to make the fountain work?
are they easy to tip over? we have 3 cats and worried they gonna fight over it and might tip it over
