    Great advice.
4:00 Investors of single-family homes should be illegal.

Have you heard about the blanket re-zoning the city is talking about? It would change all RC-1 zoning to RCG (meaning they could build townhomes where single family homes currently are)

@@ZachSchultzRealEstate , yeah, that makes me furious as I am moving to Calgary soon. It should be fought tooth & nail; Calgarians should constantly harass their councillor. What was the point of zoning, for all its history, if there's a radically blanket change like this? Should focus along C-Train lines. Does the City not recognize what makes Calgary attractive & safe…? Density has ruined the GTA in Ontario; traffic is absolutely horrible (top-10 worst on planet) and home prices are insane.
I honestly think the mayor, Gondek, is part of the “internationalists” who serves a higher agenda.

It will be interesting, that's for sure... It will be good for investors but a lot of homeowners won't like it. I also think there will be parking issues that arise but we will have to see how it plays out. Where are you moving from??@@sovereignty14

@@ZachSchultzRealEstate , you mentioned one of the most negative cultural attitudes, which has one of the most profound impacts on affordability (next to unbridled worldwide immigration): “it's good for investors”-this should never be said in a positive light with respect to single-family homes; i.e. residential property with multiple bedrooms. Family homes are not an investment and “investors” of such homes should be *illegal.* If you want to invest in single-bedroom apartments/units, fine; leave the building block of our society, family, alone and give each family an equal & fair opportunity at home ownership.
      I'm escaping Ontario/GTA.

I understand where you're coming from but for those looking for opportunities to build wealth through real estate (whether it's good or bad), this will be beneficial for them.
I see, you're right in the thick of it where homes are so expensive that even $1M doesn't get you much... When are you planning to make the move? @@sovereignty14
