**I think** the numbers are not correct? For example, according to your crime map data, Brentwood has 160 total crimes with a population of 6585, I think the crime # per 100 people should be:2.4 instead of 24?
It's always funny hearing Canadians talk and crime and safety lol.
Come to the US, we can show you many examples of unsafe neighborhoods.
I would trade places with Canada any day
Very interesting analysis. I'd love to see the same for the other regions. Also, it'd be great to have the sources for all these data regarding the crimes. The Crime Map available at the city's website covers data from 2012-2019, but this one seems much more recent, which is important.
So on that crime map there is a link at the top that has newer data and that’s how I found this more recent info. It’s essentially a newer crime map.
Can you buy a house if you have permanent residency or do you need to be a full Canadian citizen before you can buy? Best wishes.
Morning. With a PR you should be able to but let’s chat more to get all the details so we can give you the right answer. www.chamberlaingroup.ca/contact/
Yes, you can buy as a PR. You can also buy as a foreign investor. getting a mortgage may be an issue. How do I know? I was one 15 years ago.
Bowness bas 9464 and montgomery has 5464 and marketmall is in Varisty not in montgomery
You’re correct… however market mall is beside Montgomery…
I would love to see the full rankings for the NW!
It will be interesting to see how this compares to the NE and downtown.
Agreed… what makes you interested in those stats?
NW is way better than NE
Could you please tell me if Kingsland area is safe? We bought a condo there .
Don’t have the stats in front of me but here are the SW areas ua-cam.com/video/_-fam2KEJ6Y/v-deo.htmlsi=CCu-huXFhVLKE4fi
Wow
Most of the crime that happens in Bowness is in the industrial area in it's southern portion
Hi I m planning to buy home In coral springs NE . It is safe area to leave? Sir pls pls reply 🙏

I just wonder what are the best and the worst neighborhoods crime rates in SE
Stay tuned. 🤔😀
Also: did you all notice the link between walkability and crime rates? It seems that communities with higher walkability tend to have a higher crime rate.
It’s a very interesting trend indeed! I noticed this when compiling the data.
CTrain access which raises the walk score.
@@mr2_mike makes sense.
What about Egdemont, Valley Ridge, Cresmont
They would have fallen in the middle if they weren’t on this list. Are you looking for a home in these areas?
44 crimes per 100 in Seton?😮 Oh no! We are in Seton🫨 and loving it here💞
Many of the crimes probably aren’t in the community but the petty thefts or things around the YMCA or commercial areas would be our guess. Great are to live!
What is realation between high rent rate, old house and crime rate? Is it your personal opinion? Or your company opinion?
@@user-ho1ot5mg6n what are you even saying? It’s all from the data. 😂
We live in Royal Oak. Yeah, it's safe, but boring, but safe...and boring :)
And this hood is too far away from everything in the city. Actually I can get to Cochrane faster than I can get to Inglewood, for example. It's good for seniors, I believe, but not very good for young people. There is only one elementary school here, and it's overcrowded. So yeah, but its safe here :)
We personally like University District and Dalhousie in NW. Would gladly move there in a second. Need to explore Brentwood more, drove once through, looked pretty good as well.
Royal Oak is further out for sure from the core. If you're wanting to be more inner city then yes, Dalhousie or further in is where you'd want to look. it really depends on what you're wanting and looking for, also what your budget is too... but there are options!
The top 5 safest are pretty much on par with each other.
It’s true. They are also fairly close to eachother too.
