Nice to see a passive PJ bass in metal! Seems like everyone in metal these days uses 5 string dual soapbar or J basses with active pickups. Actives are a little too clean for me. I like how warm a passive bass sounds. I love the bass sound Fredrik Nordstrom got for Dark Tranquillity on "Projector." Thanks as always for your music and videos, Euge. Aaron
Thanks! I like it more with bass. All the punch is in my hands and comp is just evening out the peaks a bit. And I like the small bit of fullness and certain character LA-2A brings to the table.
What bass strings do you like? If you said it on the video I missed it. I am a diehard DR Strings HI Beams guy. The perfect Dangle Dangle as Kohle would say!

I hear they are quite heavy though which is disappointing.
Lighter than my ESP Eclipses but they are man’s guitars so…🤷♂️😎.
