@Regine Whyte I'm considering to move there next year as well. Are you moving for any particular reason, if you don't mind me asking? I love Edmonton but I hesitate a little.
@@BabyGirlRegineWhite I hear you. I'm in Ontario as well. It is horrible and non-sensical. My son has no future here anymore. I'm considering Edmonton for this reason plus it looks like a pretty nice city.
@@drieschnerdify Awesome man. Good old Loyd. I have been there a few times back in my hockey days. Well let us know when you’re ready to make the move, maybe we can help find you a great spot. Thanks for watching 😁
Food isn't particularly that expensive out here compared to Ontario or Québec. I also find there's plenty of eateries that are very reasonably priced. It also helps we don't have a provincial sales tax.
Thanks for the helpful info ... it seems lots of money when put alll that money together at the end of the month ... thinking in 15 CAD, but after taxes 🤔 💭
Great videos 🤙 want to make the move in future. Is the city waking up a little nowadays, getting back to normal any? Still debating whether calgary or ed is my city choice.
Hello, thanks for the video. Was wondering, with everything mentioned in the video, will a single occupant with the average salary of $48000 be able to live in comfortably in Edmonton?.
First I’m sorry for my English haha second, do you work with rental property or just to buy property? I’m planning on going in a year to study and I’m from Brazil haha
Hey there. Thats amazing. We are realtors here in Edmonton, so we help people purchase or sell homes here. But we can steer you in the right direction as far as renting. Reach out to us through our contact info in our videos😀
Be careful, if you're coming to study, look for housing trough your university housing office. If you're attending Norquest let me know...I am close to it and can help you find a condo... Nothing less than one thousand per month though in the city, if you wish to share it may be easier 👍
Thanks for the video! Very informative. Is it true that Edmonton is the city of bachelors? I've heard that population's male/female ratio there is the most unbalanced across Canada...
The greediest city in Canada next to Calgary ...their greed is a shame...poor people going without proper food, clothing and prescriptions for the sake of taxes and charges imposed on the people who have struggled all their lives and now being forced out of their homes because of these high taxes ...no where else in Canada is as costly to live...shame shame shame on the local politicians for imposing these high taxes on the less fortunate....city funds could be better spent...too much wasting...
Hey ! We are thinking to moving there too from Toronto but that think is that I heard water bills are crazy there like 600$s to 1200$ that’s a crazy amount I never heard off . Anyone in the same boat ?
Don't!!!! they will have water shortages soon learn from whats happening in China. this place is essential a dry barren waste land only the snow run off is why they have water - not ground water reservoir
Wonder how this video holds up now lol. It's always been expensive here. Also when this guy says this place has nice people and it's safe. He lives in like the nicest area almost out of the city. From his videos it's like he live in St Albert or nisku. Definitely one of the areas out of the city where nothing bad ever happens.
Thank you for your work in these videos! they are extremely helpful to plan our moving to Alberta.
I’ll be moving to Edmonton next year I can’t wait !!!
Me too! :)

The LRT is always on time but not the bus.

what about safe and security?
heavily considering moving recently, i'm from toronto and the prices here are becoming unbearable.
If an American moved to Edmonton would they ever be able to get use to the Canadian tax system. Like the extremely high tax rate
Very informative and well arrange topics. Thank you.
Great!
Well thank you Chelsea & Ripley 😁
Can you buy a detached bungalow for 350k ?
Hopefully Edmonton will build more high rise apartments and the cost of living will go down.
Most of the high rises Edmonton builds are condos. Another couple of very tall ones are being built now! 👍🏻
