Hi Raj! The lawyers will be able to give you the exact break down. Short story is you don’t pay taxes until you get the property (when you move in) however with new builds the city doesn’t assess the entire value (except land) until the house is completed. All this is sorted out at the lawyers and they can give you the more specific price. Hope that helps!

When you sign with a broker be very careful that they do not do searches with out your consent. As to a some company doing the condo docs be very careful you want a detail of what they found. When we brought our condo they did not give a detailed assessment and we were stuck with a lemon. We thought of bringing the our realtor to court but she has left the province.
