You forget the most powerful Light side ability of them all, I'm not sure what it's actual name is or if it even has one, but from Legends, there was a Jedi by the name of Master Fay, who was so connect and in tune with the Force and letting it guide her, that it stopped the aging process. She had been alive for centuries thanks to the Force and would likely have lived forever if Ventress didn't stab her in the back while she protected Obi-Wan so he could get away with an antidote to save countless lives.

Maybe it's just me, but the Grey Code for neutral Jedi seems a bit forced, just so they can have an McGuffin to guide them also.
I thought the whole.point of the grey order was that they did not follow a creed but wished to be separate from both sides to find betterness
There is no grey code. The one people reference as a grey jedi code is a fan-made creation.

Earthly attachments flow down the river forgotten and they take in the cosmic energies, fully connected with both the spirit and natural worlds.
Morichiro was also a power that was vastly more common among lightsiders since it need a great understanding and skill in force healing trances (lightside ones) that sith as a general rule didn't really study.
Jedi are divine spellcasters, and Sith are arcane spellcasters.
Malgus was actually described to have become one with the darkside at one point shortly before his rebellion against the shit empire. Thus oneness with the force wasn’t a Jedi specific power, just something very very few force users ever achieved.

Regarding Force Meld, didn't the Dread Masters do this and mentally attacked enemies to the point they could decimate entire Republic fleets during the Old Republic? They were so mentally bound to each other that when Styrak died they not only felt pain but they all went insane.
the last part about Obi and having one ness gave me chills.
So, I do martial arts, and the way you've explained the aspects of the Force are similar to how I teach people to think about jiujitsu (I even call it the Force, haha). I think a good way to visualize it is to picture a hill. Light side techniques are as simple as walking from the top to the bottom, with physics doing much of the work. The dark side is walking from the bottom to the top, fighting gravity. These two ways of thinking do not change the framework of the physics of the situation, they just interact with them differently.
Imagine these force abilities in Star Wars Battlefront 2.
2:58 I think that if more Jedi were on the grey side of things that what happened at the end of the clone wars might have never happened. You can take Ashoka for example in the fact that she is a light side force user that fights with emotion but she fights for good. She does what she believes is right and isn’t held back by all the rules of being a Jedi. If more Jedi were like that it may have helped avoid what happened. Jedi that come after Rey will probably be on the grey side of things because Rey and Luke were both like Ashoka.
@Wolf Alpha 900 the only reason anakin fell after all was just that he was inducted into the order too old already, and wasnt perfectly disciplined. In other words, if they had held *more* strictly to their doctrines by refusing teaching to a padawan that old who held fear within themself, they wouldnt have seen anakin turn.
Granted, palpatine could still win without anakin, but the point is I am agreeing with you, the jedi strictures absolutely protected them from the dark side and kept them whole for thousands of years (only to be broken by external influences)

The rule of two. As I recall. Was not invented yet. And it's not that no sith ever cooperates. It's that they are all threats to each other's power, and as a result, they are enemies largely, even if they sometimes come together to fight more immediate foes.
For instance, in the sith academy, blatantly murdering your classmates, was encouraged, and common.
You wouldn't want to heal someone, who is more beneficial to you if they're dead. And to a Sith, every other Sith, is more useful dead, with rare exceptions, though you may notice in your example. He still killed them all.
I don't think I have come across any mention's of the Sith using Force healing in the books or comics.

Flashburn could've saved many jedi from falling to the dark side
You should do a video on gray jedi, I know nothing about them!
I don't know if "Flashburn" is an actual power though. Luke describes the effect of Corran Horn's trauma (his vision of losing Mirax) as flash burns and states that his mind has a kind of psychic swelling that is temporarily preventing him from emotionally connecting to memories of Mirax. From my reading of that area of 'I, Jedi' it seemed like an amplification of a side effect of emotional trauma rather than something anyone could learn to do at will. For that reason, I wouldn't call it a power
heh the ships those Jedi were in that were doing Force Meld reminded me of the Meditation Sphere that Sith Lords used to sit in and meditate and cast Battle Meditation over an entire battle; not just the fact they looked like TIE fighters but those triangles around the cockpit window

Personally i think battle meditation should have been a jedi exclusive power as its all about supporting your allies, which is what the jedi's use of the force is all about.
This is a year old so I’m a little late, but do remember the sith were canonically the only ones that could deal in absolutes, therefore Sith superiority.
Steppin up in the Star Wars community I see, keep up the good work!
I don't know, our Dark Sided Revans and Exiles are known to have the basic Force Heal ability so to compensate for battle injuries and other slights.
Of course, they're mostly unable to use the advanced forms of the ability, particularly the ones that can heal nearby allies in the long run.
What about the dark side abilities that the Jedi couldn't use?
I bet in their case it's not as much about not being able to use but about risking falling into the dark side after, ya know, "getting a taste"
I noticed late your question about my favorite Sith. I don't really have a favorite per se. I do think that there are two that personify the Sith when taken together. Darth Maul as the personification of rage and Darth Sidious as the personification of plotting and ruthlessness.
It's like the jedi are all healers and the sith are all tanks. Great doc once again.
Darth Sidious uses force heal on Anakin in episode 3.(Revitalize?)
Bastilla can be made to uses battle meditation to help the sith defeat the republic if you go dark side.(Battle Meld?)
I don't think center of being could even be considered a 'force power' rather than an inherent ability which even an untrained force sensitive may have. I don't see why someone would just choose not to use it.
I don't think it's as simple as choosing to use a force power. The force is probably manifested in certain ways due to the nature of the user. Some of them can take years of training to learn, the same force power could also take to a different person naturally. In order to become the most powerful being, a sith would have to have mastery over every force power as well as probably be creating his own unique ones. The fact is, honing one's strengths while ignoring one's weaknesses will always show a more tangible result, giving a feel for the power they so desire. This also is a factor which leads to a sith's inevitable defeat.
Awesome video!

I wonder if Oneness in the Force has something in common with the gift of Oneness, which could be bestowed by Voss priests - which was actually done for a Sith Warrior during his story arc in SWTOR? As far as I u derstand, while pure-bloodied, original, Sith, were born darksiders, the Voss, on the contrary, seemed to be born lightsiders, although what little we discover of their teachings and writings during the game, seems rather neutral, or "grey", then purely light.
