Today saw me head to a pretty Welsh town in the UK. Llandeilo is Welsh speaking with an interesting history.
Between torrential rainy days, the sun shone
Sassy teen is my daughter who was in school - so I made the most of the weather.
Thank you for watching as I learn to moto-vlog and video editing. I aim to add more subtitles so hope you'll subscribe.
Ride safe & take care,
Lady J Rider
Ah dry roads, blue skies and a banging sound track, couldn't ask for more 😎👍
Thank you! 😊 trying to make the most of the dry days in between getting soaked. 🫣🤣
I really like music 🎶 you tube have some pretty good options too, this is one. 👍
Thanks for the support. 😀

Excellent ride and mutter 😊
Thank you! I am learning as I go, so I appreciate the support and am watching and hopefully learning from you all.

The kitty wants to go for a ride! Your key chain is purple! 💜
💜 yes! Says 'yes its mine' 🤣
Harry was funny 😁 I had to lift him onto the wall.
@@ladyjrider666 I have one that hubby got me and it's not purple but it says"no, it's not his bike" 😂
🤣 ahh the age old assumption happens over there too! I get a bit cross in shop's if they assume I'm just a pillion I must admit. 😖
You do get bemused people though.

Nice little ride
Thanks so much nicer for drier weather. 😀

Lovely ride! Beautiful countryside. Thanks for sharing this little trip with us. Ride safe Lady J. Cheers:) Willy
Thanks. I really appreciate your kind words. It's a beautiful part of Wales but often just travelled through or round. Ride safe, lady J
Aww Harry 😻🐕x
I had to put him on the wall. 🤣He needs a tank bag and goggles. 🐾🐈
This is a cool video with an interesting history of the town. Relocating the graveyard is really not a common thing I believe. Saddlebags 73 is sending me. You have a nice channel. I subscribed. Just keep it up.
Thank you! I will try and stop off next time for some photos. I wasn't aware that was why there is a wall and level change. As you say, not often they are relocated. And in a religious town so long ago.
I really appreciate the feedback and support. I'm learning as I go, and much to learn. 😀 I wanted to add / find out some history so need to work on adding it in better now. 😀

@@RRRRefuelRideRace Thanks for the supoort! Definitely one to revisit. 😁
So signs in Welsh and English...cool. Also, congratulations on your first 100 + subscribers, Jane!! 🎉
Thank you so much for being a big part of the 100.😃 yes indeed about road signs. Its caught on in Scotland and cornwall too. As rhey endeavour to protect their language.
Take care, Lady J
Great job ! I enjoyed that. Blimey your bikes are fast 😂
Nice vlog and we even got to learn something !
Thank you !
ER
😄at fast! I'm definitely sedate here... and compared to friends. But I have sat on the M4 motorway with a friend on her himalayan and yes.. it did feel slow.
I am glad you enjoyed and a learn something new moment too.
Thanks for your support its really appreciated. 👌

Awesome!!well jealous (note the very stationery trike in the background 🙁) although I wouldn't have fancied going through that water on it 😂
It won't be long, and I'll be filming the back of the stormbringer (trike).... OK, we both know that's not true. 😅🤣 I'll see you in my mirrors. 💋 Jx
@@ladyjrider666 don't get all cocky motovlogger with me good girl 😂😂
@@richieenglish8861 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 x
Enjoying this. Interesting contrast to the roads up here. Jam First. @Saddlebags73 will be pleased.
Oh the number plate mmmm that made me giggle nudge nudge wink wink😂😂
It's amazing the different terrains in Wales. I do love the sea, but Wales have a bit of everything. Its why I'll never leave and want to remind myself of some of the magic.

23 pubs? I approve. Jam first? Again, I approve. It’s the only way. I’m surprised you have them up there though. I thought it was a Westcountry delicacy 😂
Bike sounds lovely 🙂
Ooh I was looking forward to a cream tea at the Cawdor Hotel. They do one plain and one fruits. Stunning 😍
And yes! 23 pubs was pretty impressive! 🤣
Raven is surprising as totally stock. You'd never have heard me on my old trike. 🤣 dusty wasn't as bad.
Thanks again for the shoutout.
Ride safe! Lady J
Interesting history on the town and cool buildings...I would be drinking coffee...do they serve that or is that a no no, lol?
Ahh they most definitely do. We have followed you all with coffee shops too. 🤣 we even have drive through ones.
However, I'm strictly a tea girl. 🍵 😍 nothing like a good cuppa.
Its an interesting history. I popped more details about the road / graveyard in the comments as it realiy intrigued me. I have been in the graveyard and was bemused at the drop. Now I know where it comes from.
Take care
Lady J
Hey LJ I think he wants a taste of the ride 😉 just heard Saddlebags mention your channel so had to come and see so now Subbed to you very nice ride never ridden in wales although I have been on hols and stuff great roads and lookin forward to catchin up on your post to see some more .👍👌
Thanks for the sub! And for your comments. I think Harry (the bastard) cat needs a tank bag. 🤣 and goggles.
I really do appreciate the support and am astonished at the community that motovloggers have built. I've got my foot in the door, with lots to learn.
I'm aiming to cover my local area of Wales. So South / South West / West. With the odd adventure thrown in. So hopefully I can show you some lovely things as the weather gets better and I learn as I go. 😊

@@ladyjrider666 Looking forward to seeing your adventures out and just learning as you go I am by no means any further along that road than yourself so don't worry about just enjoy the rides 👍Oh and than you for your sub too I didn't realize earlier .
@Crumblymal you're very welcome! There is a great network of UA-camrs I had no idea it would be as supportive.
Really glad you're enjoying my rides, thanks for the support! I really appreciate it.

@@ladyjrider666 check out Saddlebags 73's latest video 🙂
@Grumps Rides I did! I'm famous..or is that infamous? 😉
Gotta say I never anticipated the community that motovloggers are part of. I'm really glad you encouraged me! Early days, but learning and enjoying.
Thanks for your help. And to saddlebags73 and all subscriber's. Gone past 100 now. 😉
Ride safe, see you soon. J
@@ladyjrider666 Awesome, you'll be passing me soon 😁
I'll have to start getting help from you!! 🤣
@Grumps Rides 😄 I can't see me ever passing you! 😆 not unless you stop in a lay-by.
Seriously, I'm enjoying myself. Editing takes way more time than I ever realised. I'm using Davinci at the moment. It is fun. I'll find my preferred pattern soon enough. 😀
Looking forward to our ride. Though we may need to build an arc. Everywhere is flooding now. 🫣

Nice vid, cool bike. Stay safe 🙂
Thank you 😀 really appreciate your kind words. Lady J Rider
That bike seems to wind on the power so nicely. Looked like a nice ride. I have to admit I am on team #creamfirst. 😆
Thanks for the comment! Totally wrong about cream! 🤣🤣🍓
Raven is wonderful to ride. And Totally stock (a first for me for many years). Considering I'm using a hero4 GoPro its coming out nicely I think, especially as I'm not that fast a rider. I'm glad you think so too.
Thanks for the support. I really appreciate it.

Nice to get out and take advantage of the weather, love the name Raven. Perfect for a name for a ride. Ouch stitches in your finger, I just had surgery on my baby finger and hand, so stitches just removed about 2 weeks ago, tendon is still so sore I have about 40% use currently and still have to wear brace. I am staying optimistic for my throttle hand to come about to 100%
Aww I really hope your finger heals and gets more use. I cut mine on a pyrex (not sure if you have that brand) bowl. Right to the bone. 😳🫣 I am lucky to have shortie levers so can use the clutch with two fingers. I rode myself to and from the hospital! No other transport.
Raven is wonderful to ride and my term flight of raven really resonates with me. I hope you enjoy our adventures. Small as they may be, I'm looking forward to the year.
Thanks for your support. Lady J
@@ladyjrider666 Ouch Pyrex yes we have them!!! Oh wow tough ol girl I mean young LOL
@@HarleyGurl114 haha I'm not that young. 🙃 x
@@ladyjrider666 Riding keeps us young!
@@HarleyGurl114 this is true! My riding instructor was 83 and fit as a fiddle. Take care. J
Nice ride how far is that there and back ?🏍️💨💨💨
Thanks. Was a lovely spin. It's 20 miles each way, about 40 mins. I went on further to Llandovery but am still editing that. 😀 Lady J
Ok wait, at time 4:19 cars can park opposite way then the flow of traffic?? I saw you had to maneuver around?
Yes it's parked outside a house. But they can anyhow. If a one-way street they can't travel the wrong way. 👍
Interesting, I'm assuming you can't? 🤔
Are you allowed to 'lane split' or filter as we call it. I know its not allowed everywhere
@@ladyjrider666 Here in Canada no lane splitting, and parked cars must be parked in the direction of traffic flow!
My Mum was from England! Some beautiful places there and she told me many stories
@Harley Gurl that's amazing the parked car part. 🤔 I had no idea that was a thing.
Lane splitting we call filtering or progressing. Accident rates would definitely fall if we didn't. So I am careful, especially as I no longer commute inner city.
Hope you're well, Lady J

NOOOOOO! 😳😳😳🤣
@NooBiker I felt compelled to leave a thumbs down. Managed to restrain myself and will just report it 🤪
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 too funny! Does that make us team jam?
@@ladyjrider666 I need all the help I can get 🤣
@@Saddlebags73 cream and jam 😋😋😋 that's all that matters
Stitches in your finger? ouch
I sliced it really deeply. There is slight damage to the tendon. But it was a close call.
