Yeah this bothers me about the current generation. For all the tech, it’s peripherals are lacking. You can’t even get a decent 6 button fighting controller without buying a pro fight stick. If it wasn’t for Ace Combat 7, there wouldn’t even be new HOTAS. Also, why can’t we get a controller with an extra ring finger (R3/L3) button
@@janseendiguiseppiThomasMC It was $149 in a bundle with PGR3, a year later the game was excluded, and the price was dropped to $99 USD. Even accounting for inflation that's roughly $150-230 USD.
I bought this a few months ago for my Xbox 360 to play older Forza games on. I have to say it works very well and has great quality for a wheel that is 10+ years in age. If you are going to pick one up I highly suggest finding one with the power brick in order to enable the force feedback option, a good starting wheel to use for a taste into simulation type racing games.
It sucks that this wheel never got proper force feedback support for PC, just a normal vibration. Though some games do give pretty strong vibration feedback, like NFS Shift. But if use for X360 console alone, this wheel is definitely recommended for sim racing like Forza games.
In theory DriveHub can make it work on a PC with FFB. It will emulate a logitech wheel. I would love if the drivehub authors just release the info on how the x360 wheel works so we could write a real driver for it.
The force feedback on this wheel is awesome. Hydro thunder hurricane and The Dirt games (360)really come to life and is the only way to play a forza title.
For me, overall quality is somewhere between the Logitech Driving Force and the Logitech Driving Force GT. Force Feedback is ok for a budget wheel, similar to the Driving Force. Pedals are ok, but the Brake Pedal really has very limited 'feel' and resistance. I've tried pushing foam, squash balls, and all sorts of stuff in there to tighten the brake up but nothing really works. I'm sure someone could put a spring or something in there to make this wheel ALOT better. Lots of plastic pieces and gets a bit squeaky. Wheel has a good feeling though, nice grip which feels good when driving. Plastic paddle shifters are a good proper size and are actually pretty solid and stand up to regular use. Button layout is good. It's just that crappy brake pedal, but I guess it's the same with the equivalent Logitech Driving Force wheels. I've got two and used them heaps with Forza 3 and 4. Still got them in storage 👍 Btw - don't try and use this wheel on your lap, it's useless. Clamp it down on a desk at the very least.
@@ulrichsgolf9978 I don't think that it is officially listed on the PC comparability list that I found, but I'd be surprised if it didn't. Who knows 🙄. They list some of the older Logitech Wheels like the Driving Force Pro and Driving Force GT.

I was having the same problem. Only solution I found was to rename "GameInputRedist.dll" in your Windows/System32 folder to something else so that it no longer causes the GPU crash you mentioned. But this fix only lasts until the next time you restart your computer, then you'll have to rename the file again. In the end I was disappointed because the wheel doesn't support force feedback on PC. Big deal breaker for me.
@@WickedGamerCollector It's a problem with windows somehow, my wheel used to work around 2 years ago but now I'm getting this issue. I tried installing the old drivers I had at the time and it still didn't work.
How much can you customize the buttons though? Can I still use the buttons on the wheel as a clutch or am I forever stuck with automatic transmission? Or perhaps even change the pedals from gas and brake to brake and clutch and then use the buttons on the controller as the gas instead?
When wanting to use clutch in say Forza MS 4, just replace one of the buttons like look behind. In a game like these is more or less a button press anyways, leaves both pedals open for precise inputs 😊

When I use this on GTAV for PC on Steam, it detects the button inputs. However, it also always moves the controls by itself w/o me touching anything. How can I fix this?
I had a couple questions. Can we pair the wheel to the 360 slim console ? I’m not sure how you’d pair them as the 360 slim console doesn’t have a connect button for pairing. 2) do we have to use the forza install disc for it to work? What if it comes without that disc just the pedals and wheel / cables
