Thank you for watching my video.
This project was made in 2016.
At first, I just made this video to show it to my friends.
But, after 3 years, I finally decided to upload this video on my channel (in 2019).
So, In this Video I just turn my Game-Pad as Pedals & H-shifter and my Phone as Steering Wheel Sensor.
The Game-Pad Circuit Explanation Here: • DIY Gaming Steering Wh...
Btw, the game that I played for this project is called "Project CARS".

YES AS IF I HAVE ALL THE FUCKIN THINGS TO MAKE A STEERING WHEEL
Well done mate seriously good job man should be proud of yourself!!
What game is that pleas
the title of the game is "Project CARS"
Someone needs to make sure this kid gets an engineering degree. It's minds like this that should never go to waste. Brilliant job.
Realtalk
It's not just the engineering and creativity; it's also the ability to condense it into a video like this one. This kid has serious skills
Shoutout to your grandpa in the background for making your dad for making you for making this video

Very impressive display of engineering talent!
For those who have less time and fewer tools: I bought a seat from a 2005 Scion, a Thrustmaster T150 wheel/pedal set for $149, a steel driving rig from Amazon for $89, $6 worth of fasteners and scrap lumber. I now have a driving rig with force feedback for about $300 that took 3 hours to build.
But how long would it take to earn the $300 with only a paper round? 😁
@@andybawn1 I don't know. I earn my money from yardwork around neighborhoods, but how much do you make per round if you dont mind me asking?
What a Genius Brain. Using High tech Screen Cast , Tilt Steering of a Game on phone, Controlling it in Analog style. Minimum Guy with Maximum Brain. Perfect
Somebody call NASA and give this guy a job!!! Impressive work

Well.. that is what you end up with, when you talk the walk!
This is what you end up with, when you walk the talk!!
This kid is insanely smart, crafty, ingenious and about 50 other descriptive words meaning awesome. It's crazy what he makes and what he makes it out of. Just unbelievable.
Someone: so do you play with steering wheel or controller?
Me: it’s complicated
Whit the phone too. 😂
Phone is used as steering controller,
Joystick is used as consoll of gas, brake and shifter
@@AlbertWesker_GOAT OMG! John Wick, check your fucking spelling mate.

Someone try to make stupid joke here
10/10 for ingenuity 10/10 for creative skills 10/10 for execution :-)
Back in the days of the original playstation before there were any wheels available for consoles & well before mobile phones were even a thing, I wired a PS1 controller through a very early Thrustmaster F1 PC gaming wheel so I could play the very first Colin McRea Rally game & the original TOCA Touring Car game - it worked really well & got me a job too!
This dude is DOPE. He probably built a insane club house too when he was a kid.
For real ?
- You racing with a wheel or a controller?
- Yes.
Im so proud with this indonesian people, Indonesia have many creative people like him

I love how you are putting Manuel force feedback lol

Most people want a race car set up this dude wants that Honda Odyssey feel
Haha
To all you guys hating on this kid, at least he took the time and effort and has knowledge that half of you can only dream of and would just go to the nearest gaming stores and pay a couple hundred dollars for one. Just because his methods of building, manufacturing, designing is different, don't give you the right to pass your two cent judgement upon people. Everyone ain't fortunate.
Thanks man 😭, its good to receive good words once in a while..

so true xD
Nope
Yeah... true
I just watched some videos where they used Logitech g29 Haha
Well I searched for it
asians when their dad doesn't want to buy the steering wheel for gaming
You are true inspiration my friend, I hope one-day you stumble upon a great innovation thatll change people's lives for the better and also make you so wealthy that you can do these kind of projects 24/7!Keep on creating!
Interesting build. Nice work. 👍🏼
Thanks 😁
Agreed

this probably took more money to make than an actual second hand steering wheel
but Damn THIS is amazing Underrated af amazing work
At this point just make a car... Ps u are a genius ❤️
Damn he used correction tapes as gears. This man is smart.
That was really impressive and smart. This kid got a bright future and I hope the best for him, very talented kid.
Good job, I'm really impressed by your talent. Keep it up and showing people what you got. Practice makes perfect
And here in Brazil a teenager of this age can not beat an egg. What a genius!

And the crazy part is that he made it by him self!

Now this is a certified Engineer Gaming
And im over here trying to perfect folding a paper airplane that actually glides across my living room 🤦♂️
Haahhaaa.. same like me ...
remember to check the pressure in the air of your living room or it won't work!!!
Salute to the hardwork and dedication, you have soul of an true engineer.
Great work.
Logitech: "Take our racing steering wheel, gearbox, pedals and pay around 250$"
This man: "Hold my cardboard and ps3 controller"
by buying logitech's steering wheel, gearbox and pedals, you get a good racing experience and you also pay for the quality, i mean their gearbox is almost similar to real car's gearbox and the movements register better. This creation may have also costed more than 250 because of all that wood and the chair
Yeah this cardboard steering wheel is nothing to logitech. But still there is joy of playing with something that have built.Whether its comparable to the best or not.
Who ever you are..YOU ARE AMAZING! ✊✊God bless your hustle!
Now that's talent mate
Genius!!!! Congratulations!!!!
Thank you 😁♥️
Somebody get this guy a Nintendo Labo so he doesn’t have to build it all from scratch!
Hardwork, endurance and brilliance at work, dude u must start your own industry that working under some corporate hatsoff
The older guy in the background must be so impressed that he is speechless, I know I am.

It’s looks crude but it works and very clever to be fair. Good work mate 👊🏻
I have seen many video of making steering but this is the real steering making video. Outstanding
Thanks man😁
Wow is so amazing, but your tutorial is so fast i dont understaind.. Good job
Its not tutorial its just want to show that he can do this from scratch with the help of his brain.
Finally i have video to my Kids when needs expensive stuff..
If I made this my mom would be like “Wow. What is it and when is it getting out?” 😂😂
😅😅
😜😂😂
Kid is a genius and he can use his feet like hands.
I could build a similar setup, but I'm lost when it comes to that electrical wizardry...
you couldnt so it Stfu
Same. The wood part is not that hard, but the damn resoldering, soldering long wires and stuff is hard. I don't even have a soldering iron
@@arberoshi2003 why are you the boss? fuck off will you please.
@izsák the joysticks have both a total of 4 axis with one potentiometer for each axis. You only need one for left/right steering and then you still have 3 left for clutch, brake and gas. And you still have two potentiometers from the buttons behind the controller. You can use one of for the analog hand brake , if the game supports that shit. So you still have one potentiometer left free if needed. Then you have 10 buttons, 2 on the back and 8 on the top. That 7 buttons for 7 gears plus 2 for paddle shifters.
Pure Genius, how can people dislike this is beyond me.
I know his next project.
Aviation simulator from a keyboard.

I like the part were he is building
Loek Tube 😂

Literally had to slow the play back speed to the max , but i am heavily inspired to make one similar to this , ✌🏻 that ending is awsome😂
Hi I saw the project and it intrigued me, I have two questions for you 1) Can it also be used on f1 2019? 2) Do you sell them? If yes, how much does it cost?
Thanks for watching, I haven't tested it yet for the f1 2019 since I didn't have the game.. but if the game support the real gaming wheel and have the option to customise the input keys. Then it shouldn't be a problem..I'm sorry, I'm not selling this device.. since making one takes a week to complete and I don't have the time to make another one..
@@PopicasaPOPStuDio Thank you very much Congratulations again for the project and above all congratulations for the creativity and imagination of creating such a thing

Apart from making my own seat from scratch I did something very similar to build myself an aircraft cockpit using the electronics of 2 joysticks. It has a Saitek Cyborg EVO without its base for the stick, the "twist" potentiometer of which is actuated by a pair of yaw pedals and the "throttle" potentiometer of which is the motorcycle-like twist grip on my collective pitch lever. The CPL in turn uses the throttle poti of the second joystick for its up and down movement, and I also have a pair of throttle levers that use the potis of the second joytick's X and Y axes. The Cyborg EVO still has all its buttons too, but the ones that used to be in the base I replaced with switches on the panel in front of me instead. The buttons and POV stick of the second joystick were replaced with those of a second Cyborg EVO's head, which sits on the end of the collective lever.
In total I have 7 analog axes, 2 POV sticks (1 on the stick and 1 on the collective head) and 16 buttons / switches (6 buttons on the stick head, 4 on the collective head, 6 switches on the panel). I'm pretty sure with that thing I can fly just about any kind of aircraft / spacecraft anyone can ever come up with for a video game
