Outstanding Fishing Kayleigh, you really are a perfect examle of what makes fishing enjoyable and a inspiration to many anglers out their especially pushing the female anglers on which is great to see. Keep it up tight lines 😜👍🎣x👏
Top Angling !! Particularly liked the idea of tapering the shot pattern; as it makes sense when laying the rig in to create a curve so the fish are less likely to hit the line when trying to get to the bait 👍
my local lake has these huge ide that swim into the shallows to spawn in spring i have yet to be able to find them in summer or fall tho no matter where i fish :c
Cracking little video, got covid at moment so no fishing for me. I have just watched all your videos, you tube is a great tool and you all do a fantastic job with the videos. How far off the far bank were you fishing. I fished Alders just after Tom topped up the little F1's and caught tight over but its cooling down now so how far over should we fish for the Silvers. many thanks Rich.
I usually fish 13/14-5 meters on that lake down the middle, I would normally have a line across to island if your on the pegs that can reach the island
Hi Kayleigh I use the Chianti 4 x 10 float but would appreciate it if you could tell me what shot and how many you use on the short rig. Also the spacing. Many thanks.
@@KayleighDowdFishing Brilliant thanks been having tinker around with my current set up which is a 320 with 3lb PI sinking feeder never thought to use powerline even tho i use it for pole lol
Totally different subject pet, if you fish a match on a comercial that's pegged every other peg, you have a spare peg either side, can you fish the platform of the vacant peg, or can you only fish half way, if you get me.
I've fished peg 11 on Alder towards the really green bush on the island. Also caught ide shalla at shalla kit + 3 straight in front of me. I use a 7 dura slip now and find its superb. Great to see what you use. In the winter, how shallow do you go when not on the deck
@@KayleighDowdFishing thanks for the reply Kayleigh. I have tied up 8" to 26" to cover all my shallow at the Oaks. At times the fish have it best about 12 to 15" off bottom when water clears a bit. You will know that tho so keep on catching and posting superb vids. Thanks 👏👏👏
Not far from me "oaks" nice fish, I'm almost 60 now just getting back into it, my dream was to smash Andy and jamie up at the golden reel 😂😂 I can hardly hold a pole these days kidda, was there a reason on that pond why you went to that line, might be just the camera but it looked a long way 14m+ can you get them.... Say 10m I need practice on the pole but struggle to control the pole and feed at 12m+
Sorry don’t mean to be harsh but cant hear or understand half of what you are saying. You certainly know your stuff but not sure if you could see if you can add more volume and enthusiasm? ✌️

Bloody hell a fair few fish there, top angling, love the waggler bit at the end, absolutely love waggler fishing 🎣
Healthy catch for a cold day. And yes, I'm a bit jealous. Thanks for sharing.
cracking netfulls! -would love to see a zoom in on the float now and then but enjoyed the whole video.
Great video, from watching other videos I got the impression that ide tend to gorge themselves then disappear. great job keeping them feeding.
Great days fishing, and thanks for sharing it with us ...👍👍
Brilliant net of fish Kayleigh well done 👍

Like 💯 well done Kayleigh! Great skills and tuition
Absolutely brilliant video again
Fantastic fishing Kayleigh 👍
Excellent fishing and tips by the way. Bigger fish defo do sit just off main feed. Well done on my home venue
Lovely catch on the pole but I find fishing on the waggler more enjoyable
Will you calm down Girl, your making us all look rubbish lol !! Love the Oaks, go every week.
Good back of fish there Kayleigh
Cracking video mate thanks mark 👍
Not been to Oaks in years, always get sidetracked to Woodlands. I need to change that
Outstanding catch Kayleigh. Great video. What diameter main line hooklengh and size hooks you using on thoughts rigs. Cheers Nigel. 👍
Hi i use 0.13 power line on all my commercial silver fish rigs and i use 18/16 SFL hooks pre tied 😜
Pre tied?? 😜. Haven't bought any them since 1985, although heard good reviews on them. I will stick to tying my own for now. 😁. Cheers.

Hi Kayleigh nice video and great fishing. Can you tell me what pole your using please as I'm looking for a new one.
XS90 👍

Hi I would usually use 4/5 number 10 shot 👍
Another top class video, thank you. But you really need to slow your driving down.
😂 its sped up for the video 😉
Great to see a female angling so well .
Lovely vid Kayleigh can i ask which size Centris + main line you was using please?
It’s a centris 420 and 0.15 power line I prefer it for waggler fishing

Totally different subject pet, if you fish a match on a comercial that's pegged every other peg, you have a spare peg either side, can you fish the platform of the vacant peg, or can you only fish half way, if you get me.
Depends on the fishery, generally most fisheries you can go up to your edge of the platform and the other angler can go to other edge
@@KayleighDowdFishing do you mean you can go upto the edge of the vacant platform?
Yeh of course you do soz, so if you start bagging on the vacant platform the other angler can simply ship in to it as well?
Thanks kidda that's cleared that up, you wouldn't believe the people I've asked, got no answer or confusing answers 😉
Yes nothing stopping them going to the edge of the platform closest to them, as technically half way for them as well

Hi, i will fish anything from 2ft to 10” it all depends what depth the fish are feeding
@@KayleighDowdFishing cheers Kayleigh. I have shallow from 8" to 26" made up on .2 Chianti's. They do the job

Hi could do with sound sorting out
Hi, i have got a mic now so we should be fine going forward. Filmed it on an iPhone so just turn the volume up and it should be fine 👍

I fished 13m here as it’s one of the wider pegs and I wanted to be in the middle but pretty sure you would catch plenty at 10m

This was about 2 years ago now got a microphone now so should be better sound 👍
