@Eric's Trains - that GCTS [Grand Central Train Station] looks GREAT! How would you ADD this famous PASSENGER TRAIN STATION to your layout? I'm sure you have some room to add this famous NYC TRAIN STATION to your layout. LOL! If someone has a "town" in a layout, this would be an awesome addition, especially if a layout has more of a passenger train theme, or it could be added as a "MAIN Passenger Station" of a small town. As you have said, "it's your World." *GRAND CENTRAL is in the heart of [Manhattan]-NYC 42nd Street and Lexington Ave.

Eric, Lisa did a great job finding those vehicles! The Railroad Crossing signs she got for her desk are cool. You found some really nice items. Can't wait to see the additions on the layout. You and Lisa, enjoy them.
Nice! I see Lisa is hauling in the fast lane the whole time. Hahah. The weathered cars are awesome. But your weathering is actually really good. My cat Earl looks almost identical to Chessie!!
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the meet and greet. A wonderful group of people. We got there a little late and a nice gentleman gave up his seat for my wife and another moved over for me. We sat immediately behind the young man who won the first drawing. Thanks to the TCA and the LCCA who donated the door prizes. We look for to another meet and greet down the tracks.
Next trip up to York, stop at the toy exchange in Mt Airy MD in twin arch shopping ctr, 1/2mi west of the twin arch on B&O old main. He has lots of train items stuffed into his small store along with other vintage toys including occasionally treck items
@@UrMomsChauffer it's small in space, but packed full, other items are mainly 80&90's Era toys gi jo, human, transformers, star wars etc, and several older robots
31:29 Imagine my surprise to see the Monon cars on that train as the old Monon line is about a quarter of a mile away from me on the oldest part of its line whose charter dates to 1847 and was originally the New Albany & Salem RR. :)
4:04 I love JT’s mega steam. I use there diesel sent since I only have one locomotive that uses smoke fluid and it is a diesel locomotive. Btw, you might already know this but you can buy his smoke fluid from Amazon
Nice! I have not been to York. I've been to the Piedmont Division NMRA show in Cartersville, GA. As well as when it was at the Cobb Galleria in the Atlanta area years ago
It was nice shouting hey to you, even if it was just passing each other in one of the aisles haha. It was my first York, even though I live just 40 minutes away.
That European pilot is sweet, great to see your girl enjoying your hobby with you took my wife to York on Friday she enjoys helping me hunt for items and dinner on the way home
Great finds, I especially like that Winnebago, can't wait to see that on the layout. That pilot euro has quite a bit of pulling power, that's a lot passenger cars its pulling. Great video as always.
It was awesome meeting you guys! I had a great time at the mixer. It was interesting to hear your thoughts on the new Legacy Station Exclusive USSF SD70
No love for FedEx, bummer. Nice seeing you at York. It was my 1st show, and I had a blast. I almost bought the Winnie, but I thought it looked a little to big! I was thinking of doing a Walter White diorama. Maybe next time...
@@Ericstrains interesting conversion though I’ve been holding out in case Lionel gets the idea to do it on vision line that or something obscure like a Pennsylvania Q1/Q2
Which halls were open to the public and which ones did you have to be a member to go into. Would like to go next year, but don't know if I should join TCA.
I’m only 99 miles from York PA ! No excuse for me not to make the trip next year ! Hope to meet you there next year and definitely would attend the Q&A !
Well done sir. That European locomotive is kickass! By the way I got my Eric's Trains diesel and outside of a couple of lionel mistakes I couldn't be happier to have it in my collection!
I collect 1/18 scale model cars.. and I don’t keep them in the box either lol. I have maybe 3 that are still in the box and it’s only because I like the design on the box.
I was also looking for an MTH European train but I was lucky to obtain a MTH Triplex Russian Iron PS2 with 5 Weaver Erie box cars that matches the Russian Iron colors and 6 Railking coal hoppers of the same color.; however, my triplex didn’t come with a box. Eric since MTH is not producing the MTH DCS can you make an easy to understand video for newbies getting into Lionel scale legacy engines with Legacy command system, the trainmaster, and the powerhouse 180? Also what happened to the Acela review?
You need to create a Cousin Eddie in his bathrobe to recreate the scene in National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation where he’s emptying the wastewater tank into the storm drain, while drinking a can of beer, and yells to Clark’s neighbor: “Merry Christmas! S*****’s full!”
It was fantastic meeting you and Lisa in person Eric. Thanks for the Matt & Matt Podcast shout out as well. I need to find a Winnebago now - love that little model!
Looks like the two of you had a great time at York, you got some great pieces to add to your collection, is York strictly O scale or do they have other scales? 👍👍
The Magi Gifts were the gifts given by the 3 Kings (WisecMen) to the infant baby Jesus upon his birth on Christmas Day. The gifts were Frankincense, Myrrh, and Gold. Frankincense and Myrrh are scents, and used for incense. The gold represents kingship.
Mega Steam ruined 2 boards and the heating element on 2 of my engines. JT's smoke fluid is no comparison to Lionel's unscented smoke fluid. However, the smoke eliminator and cleaner work really well. I like those
Eric, I didn’t know you liked Star Trek. Cool. I am an 80’s fan. I am a die hard Transformers fan. Do you know if Lionel ever did anything Transformers (autobot / decepticon) themed?
Enjoy the video. There's a couple outtakes at the end. :)
