Hey Lads! Today ill show you the longer way to change the bulbs although it hurts you less! Thank you for watching and i hope i helps one of you out there!
You don’t need to remove anything .... changing the bulb on the passengers side is a little fiddly but you can do it with NO TOOLS. Just remove the top off the fuse box - then the clip off the protective cover to the bulbs. Your hand / fingers WILL fit in enough to wiggle the bulb free on its wires - refit bulb ensuring the metal protruding on the bulb is facing up. It’s a gentle push fit - look through the headlight itself to guide you in - job done in under 10 minutes.
I work at halfords and I change a set of 2 headlights in around 5 mins on these corsa... you made the rookie mistake of only replacing one but a 7/10 for effort and a 1/10 for logical thinking.
You saved the day my friend, My Corsa had wire cable loose from heat and without your guide I would have spend many hours more to figure-it out how to remove the headlight. Thank You very much.
or you can do it with one hand and a cigarette in the other, pull up the wiper fluid funnel till it comes off, then pull off the lid to fuses on right, "unlock two clips on left of black box". Unclip the metalclip from light cover, and pull out the light. Plug in a new bulb and repeat in reverse. cigarette still lit. Hope that helps some of you chaps.
If you do want to do it this hard way then don't completely remove the bumper, the two screws in the wheel well and the 4 bolts on the top of the bumper is all that's needed, there's plenty of room to take the headlights out just unclipping the sides of the bumper
Thanks very much for the simple-to-follow guide. Just changed all the bulbs on my son's Corsa D this morning - hopefully the new ones (Philips X-tremeVision) will be brighter than what was in there. Only a couple of comments based on my attempt ... when dropping the bumper down, it's a good idea to support it from below with something of a suitable height (or a helper) so it only drops down very slightly so that the temperature sensor can be disconnected - the cable is not very long. Similarly for the foglight cables, if equipped. My temperature sensor popped out of its mounting hole on the bumper - fortunately the wires are pretty strong. Interestingly on one side the hidden-round-the-side screw bracket had already been snapped off the side of the headlight unit - looks like some cowboy previously changed the bulb and didn't realise there was a third hidden screw and just yanked the unit out, breaking it. Anyway it seems sturdy enough with just the top and inner screws.

Absolutely not necessary to remove the bumper. I've changed every bulb possible. You can grab hold of the windscreen washer tube...just pull out up and it pops out and pushes back in easily. It Gives you plenty of room to change the main beam and sidelights on the nearside. You can also remove the airline and box on the drivers side of you need to. I've also done the other lights without removal of anything also.
Do you know how to remove the fuse box in the engine bay? I have changed my headlight bulbs a couple of times by only removing the fuse box lid however as you say it is a struggle.
Just replaced mine. Didn't need to remove anything for the passenger side other than the fuse box lid and had to unscrew the air filter lid to get to the driver side. This is how not to do it. lol
You can actually get away with taking the top and the side of the bumper off and pulling it around a bit to get at the bolts you need to. However it is impossible to do this without taking the lamp out and it is not something that can be done at the side of the road when its dark which totally defeats many european countries (like Germany) insisting you carry a bulb kit so you can change them at the side of the road!

You can indeed fit them with removing the bumper. Same principle just rather awkward to get your hand in without cutting them up. Philip's diamond vision is the only ones I can see. Not too cheap tho. I have osram night breakers...not amazing tbh

Its how I've do mine (air filter box and hose). Got fairly big hands too. Passenger side is fairly easy to get to. Getting the covers back on can be a right pain though. Can't work out why the dip bulbs blow more than the main beam lights (most of my driving is in the dark). Must have changed four sets of dip bulbs now (135K miles), not one high beam....yet!
Shocking crap design from vauxhall. To be fair, they are the king of crap, so no surprises their designers are retards that don't factor in any maintenance,. Put my car into the garage to change an indicator bulb. Vauxhall should be closed down if this is seriously the best they can do. Great video - thank you!
FUCK ME!!! the easy way is A. Take the lid off the fuse box nearside B, take the airbox out on other side. Takes 15 mins at tops. Sorry mate, this ways is totally unnecessary

Perfect guide. May need to replace the headlight on mine so it helps knowing exactly what needs doing.

Nice information video however I just stick my hand in pull out the bulb takes 5 minutes top. Hardest bit is relocating the cover afterwards.

You don't need to take the full bumper off just one side it's a 30 min job from start to finish.
