- Someone drove into the back of Chloes car, it doesn't look too bad at first but the bumper reinforcement bar was bent. This is how we did it.

I have to warn you that I have no formal automotive training, and have just learned by breaking stuff. If you can learn anything from my mistakes then great, but you do so at your own risk! - Авто та транспорт
Well done.
That's a nice tidy fix.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, no probs 😃
Cheers Larcs 👍
❤ Thanks for sharing your Opel rear bumper removal experience.
I have a towbar to fit to my Corsa E 1,2 litre (2015) model.
Seems basically the same as yours to do.
Will tackle job in next few weeks.
Thanks again.
Thanks, good luck sorting it out 🤞.
@@LarcsWorkshop Fitted said towbar and it went OK. Thanks.
@@robertmatthews8302 Good work 👌
Nice clear easy to follow instructions cheers 🍻
Thanks 👍
Doing this job Saturday on my son’s 2009 red Corsa so great to see what’s involved. Also found the wheel well full of water and just found your boot lid adjustment and light gasket fix! - great detail in your vids - thanks
Thanks, no problems 👍. Good luck sorting it out 🤞.
Muchas gracias desde España, gran trabajo y muy bien explicado.Vielen Dank aus Spanien, tolle Arbeit und sehr gut erklärt.
Muchas gracias👍
Never mind bent, my Vivaro had a straight rear end, no damage to the bumper but, underneath the reinforcing bar is rotten. The bar is unprotected steel that collects road dirt and spray on a wet day, the result is a reinforcing beam with no strength. Check yours out.
Thanks, I'm going to check it👍. Where did you get your replacement from?
Cheers Larcs
@@LarcsWorkshop it was an eBay job, actually came from a Vauxhall dealer, about £75 I think.
@@DonaldTrumpton Thanks, I'll look out for one 👍
Those bumper reinforcement beams seem very weak on those corsa's
I agree 👍
Good video and easy to follow thank you.
Was it that the studs on the new unit wouldn't fit in the holes in the car or that the existing nuts wouldn't fit on the thread of the new unit? Would it have been possible to just use new nuts?
Thanks, yes the threads on the new unit were different. I could have maybe found some nuts but they weren't metric, so I decided to use metric bolts instead.
@@LarcsWorkshop Thank you. May I ask where you got yours and/or who was the manufacturer please? I don't have the facilities you have - if mine doesn't fit, I'll be in trouble!
@@clivepritchard . I got it off eBay IIRC, I can't remember the manufacturer, sorry.
Mine has just had a minor bump on the right hand corner where I reversed into a post. It has just put the seam between underneath the rear light out of line slightly. I wonder if I could get away with banging it back in with my hand to save all that hassle. Thanks for the video.
It's worth a try as there is a bracket below the light that the bumper clips into.
Seems to have worked. Thanks very much for the advice. @LarcsWorkshop
@@kevthedynamo Brilliant, glad it was ok 👍.
Greate one ☝️
Thanks 👍
