I think it will be unfair especially to the amazing Phylicia Rashad and other 4 amazing women who made the Cosby show one of the amazing lessons and a template parents could use to raise family. I find myself modeling my family after the Huxtables each day and I was not even in the country when this show was on the air. But by censoring Cliff and not allowing him to speak from his perspective you could already see the beginning of the "political correctness" road. People can no longer speak from their hearts for fear of insulting someone. Even if someone is less correct on a matter don't they have the right to feel how they feel and respectfully express those feelings? 😉

He wasn't wrong considering all women want a man who will take care of and protect her. A guy who's "financially secure" and all that horseshit.

    • @ClarissaMcLaughlin

I just want a financially secure man because I’m not gonna mother him and bear all the financial weight of the family myself, if he’s going to be a member of my family he’d better contribute. I don’t need him to rescue me from anything.

I see plenty of women constantly saying online how they want a man who "can protect me". Is that really so much different from what Cliff was saying here? I'm actually a woman myself, but it always makes me chuckle when I hear this "I want the kind of guy who can protect me" crap. Are women in constant danger or something, lol. I'm 46 years old and still alive, never needed a man to protect me from anything... but they are nice to have around for other stuff LOL
