The look that Cliff gets when Elvin has wandered in the shark-infested waters called Clair's quick logic...
This episode and the drinking game I just love❤❤❤❤❤❤
In the Huxtable family... Lying was the ultimate offense and not once, tolerated.
3:26 Cliff is like: I’m tagging in
Cliff saved Vanessa from sudden death that day. Claire was ready to commit murder.

😅😅😅she was an attorney 😅😅😅
I jumped too lol. Superb acting by Phylicia here, the anger of a mother with her disobedient teenager was so authentic.
Just like King Triton and Ariel
And just like that......we all went to bed. 😆😆😆😆😆😆
"But I'd like my punishment before I go the bed "
Claire loses it and starts to charge at Vanessa
Cliff steps in front of Claire to hold her back. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
As a father, I have had to save my daughters life by pulling that move Cliff pulled.
Yeah Clair was wrong for that for the way she treated Vanessa like she didn't do anything stupid when she was Vanessa's age.
Claire is playing lawyer with Vanessa
Oh, she's not playing; she doesn't have to.
No, she’s being a PARENT. This is TV but parents act like that for real when their kids need to straighten up and fly right (esp when the kids are TEENS)
Vanessa didn't stand a chance. She was dead girl walking.

Kids today need a mom like Claire Huxtable to straighten them out.
Clair Huxatable can read you down to your very soul and not a single curse word was used.
I'm a 6ft2. 220 pound man. And I jumped when she said Go to bed!!
Damn
Cliff- What were you thinking
Vanessa- I wasn’t
Cliff- you got that right
This is off topic but Vanessa’s outfit and hairstyle are lovely.
I know eh! I love some of the styles from back then!
I agree!
I used to love seeing their outfits each week, especially Denise’s.
Was just going to say this.
This was hilarious, "DO YOU HEAR ME SHUT UP" 😂 "Having BIG FUN!" 😆
One of my favorite shows, I was a kid in the late 1980s. Shout out to Brooklyn.
I love the Cosby show 💜🥺
When Claire said 'for all I know you could be lying right now Go To Bed!!that hurt Vanessa's soul. That was worse than an ass whoopin' that was the look of disappointment on her mother's face .
Lol Claire had her on the stand as a hostile witness 😂 4:03
Kudos to Malcom-Jamal Warner for directing this classic episode. 💯
When Claire said we've only just begun I be thinking of Glen Jones song We've Only Just Begun.
"GO TO BED!!" Yes ma'am! Imma goin to bed... 😅
3:26
Vanessa: "But I want my punishment before I go to bed."
She almost got it........
Be careful what you wish for, Vanessa.
Yep, she almost attempted to kill Vanessa
I'm sure it would have been her final punishment lol

@@talltalllady Yep lol
big fun 🤣🤣🤣😭 Baltimore
Clair Huxtable went off on Vanessa Huxtable😂😂😂😂
Sure did, if Claire talked to me like that I would be really scared. Well of course any child would.
@@deannaroberson1451at least she’s smart enough not to lay hands on them.
Nothing will ever top this scene. But I really wish My Wife and Kids had done something similar to this one.😂😂😂
That "go to bed!" Hit different... that was awesome!
When Claire Huxtable made me wanna go to my room too. lol.
Classic show.
Ms. Claire is the 🐐 of TV Moms. Remember, she was going to put Denise out too 🤣
This was karma against Vanessa at its finest. She deliberately lied to her parents of where she would be that night and anything that could go wrong did go wrong with their trip to see a concert.
Parenting 101 right there
