Cyclists who have no chance of winning the majority of the time, often referred to as "domestiques" will do jobs like carrying water bottles and gels to their leaders, as well as riding at the front of the group and sacrificing themselves so a team mate can win. I am Brazilian so I'll make an observation that might be biased but I hope it makes sense to anybody that might want to read it.
The fact that Fallen got his old mates together (we all know that no one from any country other than Brazil believed in them, and I didn't either even though I rooted for them) in Imperial and still managed to do a pretty good job relative to what was expected from them in regards to the Major, to me, particularly, shows something about Stewie that doesn't seem to work, from what I understand about the game. I'm no specialist, of course, but it seems that Liquid Stewie (I can't comment on an specific game or how he played in mibr because I really didn't care for mibr at the time, and still don't) wanted the highlights, he didn't want the labouring that builds a beautiful win or at least an amazing try, which is odd to me since he managed to do such a great job at Boston, like Richard pointed out.
Stewie's mentality seems broken and I've seen soccer players being like that, and all the good coaches did was to never let them play until they earned it, while having talks in practice. Stewie needs a good shaking to bring him down to Earth again or he's just going to be another former great player that could have done a lot more but chose to believe he was the best and refused having the future he would have earned had he worked harder.

It is shocking how many top players have no sports experience. When esports first started in the MLG days a large majority of pros came from a sports background because gaming wasn’t that popular, and most kids under 16 years old couldn’t afford online gaming and most parents did not like their kids gaming. Most of the online multiplayer gamers were people addicted to competition during the offseason of their sport.
Its very different now, and America in particular has a real problem with fundamentals. Most kids at the highest rank coming up in the scene are absolutely braindead just like Stewie. They can’t understand why a call is fundamentally correct, they only look at results. It doesn’t matter if people fucked up execution, if you are a coach and called something that fails 1 time out of 10, then its your fault that they lost.
This is why American teams pass around the IGL role like a fucking hot potato, and after every tournament if the team hasn’t won someone on the roster has to get replaced. It doesn’t matter if the team got better, if they didn’t win, someone gets replaced. Its actually disgusting. I don’t know how any coach is supposed to get a team to win when they have less than 3 months with any given roster.
When I was growing up watching esports I had so much hope for the games. I naively thought that esports would get smarter, more strategical, and more mechanically perfect. Instead esports has somehow regressed. As there is less and less jocks in esports, the top end play is becoming more and more like soloq. Random individual plays with barely any structure.

Stewie is nothing like S1mple or NiKo in and out of the server, this is the same guy who said himself that he checked out of a tournament because he couldn't pass the group stage, and putting his name together with S1mple and NiKo who famously 1v9'd their way into MVP level performances and deep tournament runs for years before they got into good teams just shows how narcissistic he is. And the things he said about being able to work with Yanko and how it's different from working with Malek is also contradictory from the truth since Yanko himself has publicly said that he wished he was stricter with the players during his time on mibr and that some of the players really lacked basic disciplinary actions like waking up and joining practice on time.

you should react to freakazoid's pov. He bad mouthed the org, the higher ups, the management, everyone, except Stewie. Said everyone else was in the wrong and honestly that seems to also be the sentiment online. Most people are on Stewie's side. Not sure why, Stewie's my favorite player and even I can understand that he's probably hard to deal with and has been even worse with it lately, especially with all the results his team has put out. Who wouldn't be upset, on edge and just all around angry or depressed after being a major winner and now struggle to put out results? But to be called a 'paycheck stealer' means you are falling low Stewie, please don't continue to fall further

His description of coach is what a 9 year old thinks a coach is but has never seen one and only knows the concept.

I feel like people looked the other way, when Stewie was a star player, but now he's washed up and trying and failing to be an IGL. People are calling him on his shit.

Man I couldn’t stand those Stewie lovers calling him one of NAs best IGLs purely because he won a major when he claimed ti be IGL. You could always tell that Stewie was brainless and that he had no IGL qualities. I really liked Stewie when he was coming up, he was fairly humble, being positive and having fun, but come on, how haven’t the fans picked up on the fact that NA teams pass around the IGL role like a hot potato. Obviously NA doesn’t respect the IGL role because otherwise they wouldn’t have the balls to pretend to be an IGL. Certain people were born to be leaders.
The fact that they didn’t respect Fallen is fucking mental. The dude brought a team to south america to learn from the weakest major region in CSGO, and was able to build a structure for his team that lead to winning Majors. The way his team operated wasn’t a secret, they filmed behind the scenes videos of their scrims and shit like that. They subtitled them. They played in Esea/Faceit with him and his players. It couldn’t be more obvious that all you had to do was trust Fallen and listen to him.
