Yes, the Colony of the Avalon is a historic site in Ferryland, Newfoundland that is known as the best preserved early English colonial site in North America. There is an archaeological dig, conservation lab, visitors centre and a gift shop (where my mugs are). Ferryland is know for its foggy weather,(although many days it’s sunny), puffins, whales and it also has the famous Lighthouse picnics, well known as one of the best places to eat nation wide.
