So pretty!! I love your glaze combos. On the pieces with top power turquoise, gun metal green, and another color, do you bring the top and bottom glazes to meet and then put him metal green around the meeting area, or do you divide the piece in 1/3s? So that gun metal green had its own 1/3 of the clay?

Hi. Turquoise and bottom Color meet. Gun metal green goes over the bottom portion of the power turquoise

Wow your work is stunning! I am new to pottery and was wondering why during firing does the glaze will occasionally look matte on the inside and shiny on the outside? Just using one type of glaze and it is dipped, I don't mind the look but why does that happen and is it still food safe? Look forward to watching more of you video, this is my first one. You are so inspiring! Thanks.

Hmmm I’m not 100% sure why. Typically if a glaze is matte when it should be shiny it is not reaching the desired temp. Perhaps you could try increasing the heat work in your kiln a little.

@@finklepottery704 Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately I currently fire at a community kiln and do not have any access to it or the process. Will be getting my own up and running this summer.
