About Disney Dinosaur:
When a meteor shower destroys their home, iguanodon Aladar and his family join a herd of dinosaurs heading for safety. En route, he befriends Baylene, an elderly brachiosaur; Eema, an unstoppable styracosaur; and Neera, a feisty fellow iguanodon. Together, they must stand strong amidst supply shortages, the threat of carnotaur attacks, and Aladar's run-ins with the herd's stubborn leader, Kron.
Join the action-packed adventure of a group of dinosaurs overcoming enormous challenges through courage, loyalty and hope in this special-effects phenomenon. Set 65 million years ago, this is the story of Aladar, an iguanodon who is separated from his own kind and raised by a clan of lemurs, including the wisecracking Zini and the compassionate Plio. When a meteor shower destroys their home, Aladar and his family follow a herd of dinosaurs heading for the safety of the "nesting grounds." Along the way, Aladar befriends Baylene, an elderly brachiosaur; Eema, an unstoppable styracosaur; and Neera, a feisty fellow iguanodon. Together, they must stand strong amidst food and water shortages, the threat of carnotaur attacks, and Aladar's run-ins with the herd's stubborn leader, Kron.

This is definitely one of Disney's most INCREDIBLE piece of musical score EVER! The visuals accompanying it are insane, and show true masterhood of blending CG and Live-Action. As a substitute teacher, I use this piece whenever I taught music classes, so that my students could get a sense of what music FEELS like. The way i do that is that i have them shut their eyes and just LISTEN to the music. As most of them have no idea what this movie is, they have no idea the context of the music. When the piece ends, I ask them what they thought the scene was about, and what the music was trying to inspire. It helps the kids understand that the music they're playing needs a feeling, and it REALLY enhances their performance. Every teacher whose class I've done this in has requested me again simply because their classes have improved a lot since I taught them! Take note, music teachers!
It really is great for that. Even without seeing the footage, the music evokes an epic scale and adventure.
Hence why this piece has been used in several movie trailers. It’s fantastic.
😮😅
0:38 I love how the Oviraptor are acting like a couple of kids fighting over a toy or food.
Screw Chicken Little! THIS is Walt Disney Animation Studios' REAL first computer animated feature!
How old are you?? Man that was ‘a bugs life’
@@josephpullium5026 "Toy Story" & "a bug's life" were made by Pixar, "Dinosaur" was Disney's 1st computer animated feature they made themselves.
@@josephpullium5026Bug Life is from Pixar and I think Toy Story came out first
@@BeruBeruIceToy Story was the first all computer animated feature film and was by Pixar before Disney acquired their independent studio! This film was before Disney acquired Pixar so it stands on its own for Disney 😊
@@sonyamariadouglas6465 I was mentioning to Joseph that Toy Story came before Bugs Life. Forgot to mention is also from Pixar.
But yes. This is kinda the first Disney 3D movie.
I mean kinda cuz most of the backgrounds were recorded from places.
For example in this scene all you can see is a natural park from South America.
Back when Disney movies were actually good
Definitely one of my earliest Disney movies i can remember watching around 2003. With Finding Nemo, Toy Story duology, Tarzan, and Brother Bear.
Very nostalgic movie
1:36 from the moment that the music changed, I knew this movie would be a Disney gem.
One of the best moments in the movie
Great soundtrack 👍👌
This feel like Jurassic Park all over again. The theme is just perfect.
Gives me goosebumps Every time
It still gives me a sense of serenity. The best sequence ever.
1:36 - Welcome to Jurassic Park.
In my opinion this is the best dinosaurs movie ever been made
It’s way, way better than the general moviegoing public give it credit for. Most people dislike this film and I have to say it’s pretty astounding
This should have gotten a part 2 no dinosaur movie competes with this one not even jurassic Park and this movie is like what 15 years old and it's still number 1 😎
Miles ahead of Jurassic Park, no doubt
Besides Jurassic Park and The Land Before Time
100% Agreed. Next to Jurassic Park and The Lost World Jurassic Park, this is my second or third favourite Dinosaur movie of all time. This is such an underrated work of art.
Aladar's story is very similar to that of Moses , their mothers loved them they tried to protect them but they were forced to abandon them to survive, they reach their adoptives families by water and a great destiny awaits Aladar and Moses who will become great leaders
Yes and Krohn could be akin to Pharaoh if we consider that he refuses to alter his tradition because it means forfeiting his power- he is shown by God to be utterly pathetic, clinging to social dominance. Eventually humiliated by God’s wrath despite his hardened heart! The Carnotaurus pair could be the wrath and power of The LORD God? Your comment got me thinking, I’d love to hear more of that
@@KingGiganTitanusROARKinglove your look on things
I see it, too ❤
How did I never think of this! Beautifully said!! 😁
Apparently the biblical parallels were even more explicit in the brainstorming phase, with characters being named Adam &/or Noah.
this movie was truely ahead of its time and it looked AMAZING.
Yea for 5 minutes then they go into a desert for the rest of the movie. It was a botefest
What a beautiful piece of cinematography! I was lucky to see 'Dinosaur' in a theater when I was a child when it was released.
Kids today won't understand the thrill when we saw such films for the first time. There were dinosaurs and they looked real. :D
In today's films it's not so hard to make things look real. I'm not saying they're bad, but surely... they're not the same.
1:34 😮😢 makes me cry hearing this epic music 🎶 i was exposed to this movie (since i was born in 1998 and watched it around 2003), this was my Jurassic Park 🎉 still enjoy this movie maybe more than Jurassic Park sequels
My favourite dinosaur movie soundtrack after «Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom» theme! ❤❤❤
A real gem of Disney!
The Opening Scene is my favorite scene in Disney's Dinosaur its got no dialogue no narration only Dinosaurs being Dinosaurs living their Ordinary Lives in the Cretaceous Period
Yep. To me Earth was beautiful and Dinosaurs living their lives
This will never NOT be this good!
This movie is so nostalgic to me, brings me back memories from two decades ago.
This piece of music never fails to give me goosebumps.
Disney has always been a master in musical scores. Hell, they could make a bad movie sound good if they wanted to. I do remember this movie of course, because it came out just before I graduated high school in 2001. People easily dismiss the animation and action in it, but that musical score makes it a memorable classic. If they would ever make a remake of it, they would likely fix the mistakes they made in the original, BUT the musical score would be the same, if not better...kudos to Disney for sending this movie into the stratosphere with that music!
In my opinion, this is The second most epic opening of a Disney movie ever, after the Lion King (1994) ☺️☺️ I could just watch this opening over and over again. The stunning Score combined with the breathtaking Landscapes and the dinosaurs is just chefs kiss!!
those landscapes are from venezuela 🤩🇻🇪
And in Florida and Madagascar too.
And Australia. That valley the Pterosaur was flying in I’m pretty sure is the Blue Mountains
If Dinosaur was nominated for any Oscar, it would be for Best Original Score, Best Sound and Best Visual Effects
I sometimes wish that the dinosaurs would exist in our world
Birds are pretty close
Crocodiles
Yes, but also no. I don't think I want to share a world where salamanders were the size of crocodiles
Too bad that all dinosaurs are extinct
They're long gone!
One of my favorite dinosaur films growing up! It’s a shame this movie’s been forgotten over the years because it’s the best film Disney has ever made.
I used to imagine how was the world of dinosaur when I was a childhood
The animation and music score won me over!! 💗❤💗😊
Me encanta esta escena😎😎😎
When disney was the goat
Todo en ese lugar es TAN GENIAL 🤯
Y antes Disney era chingon pero ahora pues.... Ya sabes
This movie is remarkable!
1:05
I guess this is my second favorite underrated Disney film of the 2000s after Treasure Planet.
La melodía es súper. Parece magestuosa
I first watched this movie whilst on holiday in Florida back in 2009, when I was nine years old.
I watched this movie my first time in 2013 or after when I was 8 years old or older.
That poor Oviraptor, product of a misinterpretation
This movie blew my mind away when I watched it in theaters when I was a little
One of Disney’s best opening scenes
0:52 映画公開から二十年以上にわたって判らなかったこいつの正体がクーラスクスだったと知った時は目から鱗だったなぁ。
……ま、クーラスクスは南極や南極と地続きだったオーストラリアにしか居なかったと言われてるんだが
Whilst it’s reasonable to believe Koolasuchus could’ve also lived in Antarctica, there’s no evidence to support that claim… for now
Don't get rid of it. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
The Egg goes on a journey to explorer
La mejor escena de esta pelicula 😃😃😃😃😃😃
Un peliculon😄😄😄
When I watch a trailer of Dinosaur in the Theatres... I always thought by my self WHUY do Dinosaurs still alive?!?
To me Dinosaurs is one of the greatest creatures that's ever came on Earth. They move in herds and they ruled the world. They're living their normal lives until one day the great asteroid disaster came to Earth without warning and completely destroyed everything in its path. Dinosaurs were wiped out one by one. We know what happened to them, but they don't deserve it. These creatures were here before us. If only we can find a way to bring them back to life and they can live their lives in a beautiful sanctuary place where they can be free
Dinosaurio El Viaje De Aladar - (Español Latino) HD
By this musik i must cry ist so beautiful❤
If Disney continues
It’s funny how the oviraptor is portrayed as such given the year the film came out at the time and now it’s practically a misnomer
La primera pelicula que vi en el cine año 2000
0:40
Wow
egg
Whats funny is that they used the music for this scene for Lilo and Stitch trailers just 3 or 4 years later
Lilo and Stitch came two years after Dinosaur, since Dinosaur came in the year 2000 while Lilo and Stitch came in 2002.
I remember this was used as a trailer on a VHS for something else my family had. I was so excited to watch it but sadly the rest of the film was nowhere near as good
I remember seeing this on my old VHS of Disney's Tarzan, and the trailer of this movie basically showed the beginning in the part where it shows Aladar's mother until the part where the pterosaur that took Alader's egg before he hatched dropped it, and then it ended showing the part when Plio looked inside Aladar's egg when he hatched and when Plio saw Aladar, and that was it.
Underrated Masterpiece. Revolutionary CGI for its time. Avatar can suck it.
Yeah this movie is really great❤❤❤
1:03
"F*** you!"
"No, f*** YOU!"
"I said 'f*** you!' First so.... ooh, an egg!"
"Huh. Odd thing to see floating around."
"Yes. Quite."
..................
"F*** you!"
"Oh YEAH?!"
😢❤
Tamago
It's ❤ adventur fores , i The Jungkook
It sucks the sequel got cancelled
2:35 Timeline is so meesed up you have birds while dinosaurs were still alive. And we could see raptors later in the movie.
Birds were around in the time of the dinosaurs (at the same time as raptors). Those birds are Ichthyornis, a toothed seabird
You are complaining about birds (which did start to evolve in the late jurassic) but not about the goddamn lemurs, or the longisquama looking mf in the first scene of the movie? Bruh 😂

All they needed to do was keep the movie fun and intrsting instead of it going into a depressing desert survival story. What a waste it vould have been a movie we stil talk about today instead of the uninspired crap we got
Stop complaining

It's crazy how good the movie is up to this point and then it just drops the ball hard and becomes a boring pile of trash.
