About Disney Dinosaur:
When a meteor shower destroys their home, iguanodon Aladar and his family join a herd of dinosaurs heading for safety. En route, he befriends Baylene, an elderly brachiosaur; Eema, an unstoppable styracosaur; and Neera, a feisty fellow iguanodon. Animal movies back then always had such good graphics.
This was actually mixed with live action for many scenes.

I like that Yar accepts Aladar in the Lemur Clan that reminds me of Tarzan where Kala adopts Tarzan after she saved him from Sabor the Lepord since she killed his family
Yar needed much less convincing though. Seconds after deciding to let Plio keep Aladar he’s doting over him and warning her to support his neck 😂

You know what's funny. When Plio and Yar to the 'HMM' with that they do, Aladar does to Cron when he's trying to get the herd to follow him.

It's exactly the same movie than Tarzan released one year ago
Aladar is a baby orphan he will never know his parents, he was taken in and raised by lemurs like Tarzan with gorillas
Plio is like Kala she accepted Aladar as he is she took him in and raised him as her own son
Aladar and Tarzan have grown up in the jungle with primats
Yar like Kerchack Kala's mate accepts no Aladar he see him like a monster but he ends up accepting and considering him as his grandson
Yar who holds Aladar baby in his arms, and the baby peeing on him is a bit reminiscent of the movie Babe the pig when the Farmer Arthur Hogget discovers and collects the little pig at the fair
The little Aladar is accepted into the pride
And then pum, giant rock on fire !
Sure the plot is somewhat the exact same but in the father like figure role in both movies Aladar's Grandfather Yar is a bit more shall we say less of a grieving parent than kerchak. Yar is more of a wise old man and shows a little bit more empathy and maybe kindness to aladar while also being a bit stubborn but still good to him both as a baby and as an adult. While in kerchak's case he's a grieving dad so to the audience he's kind of is a jerk at first to his adopted son both as a baby and a child it's only when tarzan is an adult that kerchak slowly starts to warm up to tarzan especially when he comes back to save his whole adoptive family from Clayton and his minions that's when they share a small moment during the final battle with Clayton.

If Disney does a CGI remake of Dinosaur by Industrial Light & Magic or Moving Picture Company, it'd be the same thing. Here's a list of dinosaurs I could actually come up with. Iguanodon, Pteranodon, Velociraptor, Parasaurolophus, Oviraptor, Carnotaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Spinosaurus, Albertosaurus, Giganotosaurus, Triceratops, Talarurus, Brachiosaurus, Anklyosaurus, Stegosaurus, Ichthyornis, Stygimoloch, Microceratops, Styracosaurus, Labyrinthodont, Pachyrhinosaurus, Gallimimus, Longisquama, Notharctus, Allosaurus, Quetzalcoatlus, Protoceratops, Dryosaurus, and Therizinosaurus. It would be directed by Joe Johnston, written by John Logan, David Koepp and Mark Bomback, produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall, Roger Birnbaum, Donald De Line, Patrick Crowley, and Pam Marsden, and executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Gary Barber, Jeffrey Chernov, Jennifer Lee, Don Hall, and John Harrison.
If Disney insists upon doing CGI remakes of The Lion King, the only hope that they possibly have of getting away with it is if they say that it is a sequel to Dinosaur.
