Is there any terrain deformation for things like runways where you can hit them and make it so planes have a hard time taking off
Like your videos, nice and calm. Been playing IL-2 for about 2 month now. Had to build up on joysticks, track-ir, etc (first flight sim since 90's).. I love doing ground attacks, and I would say they are easier than dog-fights. I have unfortunately not won a single dog fight to this day (playing on finnish). Just discovered the campaigns which kinda look cool. So maybe thats were I'm gonna get my first air victories..
Appreciate the feedback. I am going to suggest you go to Combat Box training svr, and practice dog-fighting there. You can choose early or late war. Both ai and human opponents so you'll get a chance to kill something. Finnish is high end in terms of skill level, although you will find some novice players who die a lot! But the best advice is to find someone on your timezone and fly on comms as a team. That way you can protect each others' arses and it increases your fun tenfold. What timezone on you on?
@@colninny8769 Right ! That's my average experience -die a lot. It's gotten a bit better now since using TrackIR. I did run across some people from Poland and Sweden (I'm from Germany) and they helped me a lot and the sorties we flew together were a ton of fun. Though I'm working in shifts I do not have a gaming time per se - Just discovered the campaigns and I feel they are well made and might provide some training. So yeah playing solo on finnish as a rookie might not be the best idea (tanks work well though).. Anyway thx for the advice - I'll keep on practicing nd lookout for a regular group to join.
