Thanks Jonathon. I'm doing the same thing to a 2004 Highlander. I was wondering why the entire fuse box was lifting when I was trying to pull the fuse out. You've enlightened me.
Thank you so much for the video. I made exactly the same mistake trying to remove the alternator, arced and blew the 120a fuse. You have the only video I found that clearly explains!!! Thank you 100%%% God bless
wow great video had the same blown fuse on my Highlander. when putting the screws back into fuse put a piece of electrical tape over open end of socket before inserting screw into it so it won't keep falling out saw it used in another video. So clever!
Great video! Have you done the Air Conditioning System fuse? The 60a closest to the edge of car. I messed up and tried removing it. Did not realize it’s probably bolted in and ended up pulled the fuse housing off the metal prongs. Looking to access this fuse
Are you doing this to put a stronger fuse in it or did that fuse blow? I’m putting in a high output alternator 240 amp. Do I need to put a stronger fuse in?

Brilliant demonstration. Absolutely clear. Would apply to all the bolt in fuses. 👍 Thankyou.

Glad the video was helpful!
Thank you for sharing this info on how to disassemble the fuse box. Also, that's the cleanest 4th gen I've ever seen! Kudo's to the owner!

Glad you liked the video! Also, thank you for sharing your technique in getting the screw in, it is definitely tricky to set it in place.
Awesome. I appreciate the video. Any chance you could show us a 3rg gen Tacoma-2019 more specifically
Thanks man!! thank you for making this video
Can you see if the fuse is bad by just looking??

This is what I have be searching around trying to find out, I have a 320a coming..
@@eooo8368 You do not want to put a different amp fuse in. It's a specific amp to protect the alternator and the rest of the vehicle.
Thank you, do the abs brake module fuses just pull out?
Yes
Thanks for the video. I've never seen a mechanic move that fast. Does lunch take you 30 seconds? lol
I don’t take lunches 🤣
Excellence dude
👍👍
This sure isn't a user-friendly repair job.
Not disconnecting both battery terminals is wild lol
Neg. is enough!
My 10mm bolt fell into the box😢
