  • I'm reviving the MK Deadly Alliance Playthrough series. Since this marks the game's 20th anniversary, it's about time I update my playthrough series. This time I will be playing as every single character on the Max difficulty setting, AND playing with 3 rounds to win as opposed to 2 to make things interesting and different from most other people's playthroughs of this game.
    This is Part 1 out of 24, where I will be using Scorpion. Unarguably the best character in this game by far, all of his moves are a joy to use and he is very easy to pick up and play. The only pain is the spear 99% of the time being instant blocked.
    I may also do Konquest Mode as well, let me know if you'd like to see that as well.

    - (Start in Hapkido) U4, wait, BF1, wait, 2, 2, CS, 2, CS, 1, 1, 3, (wait), 4, 1, 1, 3
    - (Start in Hapkido) F3, B3
    - (Start in Pi Gua) 2, 2, CS, 1, 1, 3, wait, 3, wait, 4, 1, 1, 3

    My tips:
    - Do not fire a spear on its own, unless you're feeling lucky, as 99% of the time it will be instant blocked. Launch the opponent once before firing one as it's much safer.
    - If a spear does connect, I recommend performing his largest combo string.
    - For easy damage, shove the opponent, then perform Hellfire.
    - You can get a quick heal in after performing a Hellfire if there is enough distance between you and the opponent.
