Sootch, I also carry a handkerchief or bandana. I find that it's handy for wiping of my gun, knife, sweat from my face, etc. It's just one of those things all my life I have carried. I also carry my Walther PPS M2 or Ruger LC9s, benchmade Torrent, keys, money clip, 5.11 card holder, Preon Flashlight, and an ink pen (usually the space pen that writes anywhere), along with a write in the rain notepad. Oh and an iPhone 6s with a case that has an extremely bright led rechargeable light in it called the Nebo Case Brite.
Palmetto Paratrooper all I carry is keys with a small multi tool on they keychain, phone, wallet, and gun.. I leave everything else in the truck. Chances are I can find a pen at the place I'm at or use the flashlight or clock on my phone. I guess I don't understand the whole EDC hype. I guess it's a fun hobby more than anything else
hey rubicon v, glad you mentioned the condoms. i have not seen one vid discussing personal items and sexual needs. condoms, lube, personal body wipes, tissues, etc etc need to be in the preppers box of everyday items. contraception needs, pills etc need to be top priority. under duress, humans revert to alcohol, cigs and sex to cope. just a thought.
I wish I could have all that in my EDC you guys are so lucky here in the uk 6 of those items can get you arrested if you have them in your pocket, I want to move to the us lol
I've said forever that if I make an edc vid it will include showing where and how each item is carried on the body. It's an important step that I feel is left out of almost every edc vid I watch so good on you for showing some of that at the beginning!

A good, sensible loadout. Maybe one day I'll get there! My workday EDC is: Big Skinny bifold wallet M&P Bodyguard in a Remora pocket holster Keys on a two-piece keyring (car/bike keys on one end, house & other keys on the other end) Old Timer penknife Streamlight Microstream penlight. (Uses a single AAA cell.) Cell phone in a holster on my belt. Better Belt leather gunbelt Seiko self-winding wristwatch On weekends when I don't have to tuck in my shirt, I swap the Bodygaurd for an M&P Shield in an ETW holster and a Tinker model Swiss Army Knife replaces the Old Timer. That little mag carrier you've got looks great. I think I need to get one or two. Thanks!
My current EDC loadout. 1. Samsung Note5. 2. Wallet . 3. Keys (Standard key ring) 4. Spyderco Delica 4. 5. Bersa BP9cc 8+1. 5.5 Alien gear cloak tuck leather and kydex holster IWB. 6. Bersa BP9cc factory mag 8rnds( spare mag in pocket) 7. Streamlight Protac 2AAA. 8. Pilot G2 limited series pen. 9. Chapstick ( must have living in the desert) 10. Eye drops (must have living in the desert) 11. 32 oz of filtered water. 12. TechnoMarine analog diving watch. Great video sootch00! Keep more of the CZ content coming! :)
That's a lot of shtuff sootch. :) but if it's what you need. I got my gun, mag, wallet, knife, sometimes pen light, pen and phone. Everything else goes in my go pack.
For phones, I always attach a "Nite Ize Innovation HipClip" to the back of the case I'm using. I've done this for every phone I've owned the last few years and works great. It adds a pocket clip to your phone and keeps it at the top of your pocket, instead of digging into your pockets. The adhesive is very strong and I've never had one come loose.
My EDC: Sccy 9mm, extra mag, in kydex. Car keys on a double ended detachable paracord key holder, Kershaw / Emerson, wallet from trayvex, streamlight micro, leatherman skelatool, phone, and a cheap belt. I know I'm planning on upgrading the belt, got a bull belt from wright leather that's caught my eye..... Can't wait till it starts cooling down here in South Carolina, the skeeters are murder right now.....
i carry a Sccy too (w/ 2 extra mags - which *actually* hold 11+1) & love it, but I'm thinking of upgrading to a Glock 29 10mm... wallet, keys w/ paracord, leatherman, s&w knife, flashlight w/ cell battery charger.
Sooch, i am with you on the multi tool, just Never find the need for it, carried them for a while and every time i really needed a tool, i had a real one accessible so i just couldn't justify the weight. Sorry nuthin....
Sootch , you forgot the suspenders to hold that rig up!! Lol.. I really love the watch, I to enjoy a quality timepiece. My dad is a great holster maker! He's made me several from exotic leather that I cherish.
Living in California I work in a brick building. Im working on conceal carry and I'm just barely building my edc. I carry everyday though my Paracord bracelet with safety whistle and compass. It's three feet of Paracord. I particularly like the Whistler because if building collapsed, I have a whistle if I'm trapped. Better than screaming and losing my voice. I carry it everywhere and I sleep with it too. Very lightweight and easy to carry
Multiple pens (including a tactical pen), keys, RFID blocking slim wallet (and second slim wallet for non sensitive cards), credit card tool, UltraFire flashlight, tactical knife, smartphone, occasionally a USB thumbdrive, and depending on whether I'm at work or not, leatherman multitool and Beretta .32 handgun.
•phone, wallet, keys -sog flash II assisted opening knife half serrated -either glock26/19/22 or ruger lc9spro - if I carry a backup, Kahr cw380 - stream light pro tac flashlights - pepper spray(if in cargo shorts) not jeans -spare mag in multi tool sheath OWB -Alien gear holster IWB
I like the idea of using a multi tool Sheath as a spare mag carrier. I'd have to make it look a little less conspicuous where I live though if I were to do that.
I agree about not carrying the multi-tool because they can be heavy and take up too much room in your pocket. However, I own a bunch of multi-tools and the one I have used the most over the years is the smallest. That is the Gerber Dime. It is tiny and cheap but has a bunch of functions. For those that don't want to carry heavy tools like myself, give the Gerber Dime a try. It is super small and you don't even notice you are carrying it. Second recommendation, for lights get the Surefire Sidekick. It attaches to your keys so you will never forget it. Those two items you wont regret buying.
Artstar2 also, I feel that the Rat, while sturdy and amazing, tends to be a little clunky for edc imo. having something like a ZT that's so much smoother and slimmer makes a difference when it's on you 24/7
I've been carrying a Kershaw Manifold, MTech USA Xtreme MX-8035, an AQV Multi Tool, Szco Sap Gloves (When driving or out and about they are worn.), an AQV LED 1000 lumen flashlight, a Beretta PX4 storm full size is carried when I can or at least in the car when I can't. I am also running a LCP2 all the time as a backup. And of course, wallet, cellphone, keys.
EDC's are a Colt 1911 .45 Lightweight Commander (waist) /Remington RM380 (ankle) / Mac Tool small multi-tool / Buck lock blade skinning knife / Homemade belt made of 50' 550 paracord and a GLAREE E03 150 lumens mini torch on my key chain. Not including all that stays in my truck everyday. And so no one will ask, yes I carry a wallet and phone as well.
my edc closely resembles yours minus the tactical pen. in addition though I carry a little edc tin (an old altoids tin) filled with shtf items like emergency cash, contacts, extra flashlight battery, extra mini lighter, bayer asprin, needle/thread, fishhooks, ranger bands, char cloth, tin foil, etc, etc. You'd be amazed what can fit into a tiny little tin
Glock 19 in an Incog Eclipse, Khar PM9 in a galco pocket holster, spare g17 mag in a bravo concealment mag caddy, iPhone 6s+, a Kershaw folder, a 'the ridge' aluminum wallet, a streamlight protac 1L, a BIC lighter, a little smith and Wesson folder, a USB drive and all this rides in my pockets or on my Ares Gear belt.
I carry as EDC on my belt: - Swiss Army Tinker Knife (Had since high school) - Palm Centro Organizer (Had forever too) - Leather glove pouch w/nitrile gloves and CPR barrier I carry as EDC in my pockets: - Usual wallet and cash - Ferro rod with alcohol pads/tinder (alcohol pads have multi-uses!) - Favorite (primary) pen and paper - Comb and tactical (secondary) pen - Android phone with ear piece - Flashlight with keys and lighter I carry as EDC on my wrists: - Favorite watch with compass on left - Morale bracelets on right Point to note...taking CCW now. =)
My EDC is fairly simple: wallet, Squirt multitool, keys and P38; Sharpie and Streamlight Stylus Pro; Folts Spew; and a box of matches. This has been pretty good for me over the months I've carried it. There are a couple of things I'd like to add. There is a Boy Scout Ferro rod, in particular, that I'd like to get. And there are some smaller flashlights I may want to switch to.
really appreciate this approach to edc. Quite a bit of stuff, but i like the leather pocket holsters, and the leather gun belt vs the kydex/woven canvas/nylon belts. a little more subtle and appropriate for a business setting.
Please get a video together showcasing your different watches and why you wear the one or the other. As a watch guy, I'd really appreciate that. Cheers!
Glock 43 IWB strongarm Kydex, Benchmade 810 Contego, LED Lenser F1R, Leatherman Style on the keychain, Iphone 6, Wallet. I highly recommend a keychain multi-tool of some sort. A lot of utility for next to no weight. Nutnfancy got me into multi tools.
Watches come in handy to keep track of time, got it :) LOVE AN EDC VIDEO!!! Switch the Glock with an XDM, ditch the back-up gun, add a multi-tool and you've got MY EDC! Thanks for being prepared Sootch.
I also carry in addition to your EDC a leatherman juice s2, a small trauma kit with tourniquet (if you carry something to introduce trauma you will highly likely need something to stop it).
I used to carry a Leatherman Wave in the nylon sheath with basically a suvival kit in it all the time; but I found I almost never used it at work or just walking around town. i attached it to my woods waljing pack. I seem to use it a lot out in the field. i open carry a Walther P99 QA. Open carrying has saved me from having to draw it in self defense. Miscreants leave me alone. I carry a lockback Kabar Dozier designed Folding Hunter in my right had pocket with a pocket clip. I carry a SAK Farmer model in my left front pocket and I have another on my keychain. I am considering no longer carrying a keychain as I have recently lost two items off mine on walks. A tweezer and a pill fob. Both were fairly expensive types, so it stung a bit. I carry a minor FAK in a cordura nylon wallet in my left rear pocket. A wallet in my back right pocket or one that hangs around my neck. I will have to do a video on some of the odd ways I carry back up survival gear.
Just when I thought I got over my EDC obsession years ago, here I am back again watching videos and making wishlists while calculating how much Im about to spend in the next month.
For the majority of 2016 it has been: iPhone 5S w/ Magpul case, keys w/ Leatherman PS4 Squirt multitool as a keychain, Flowfold wallet (check it out), Glock 42 in a Don Hume IWB holster, spare mag, Benchmade Emissary, and a Thrunite Ti3. But like Sootch, I swap out guns and knives occasionally depending on task or dress.
Right pocket :Ruger LCP in a desantis nemesis Left pocket: Car keys, Spyderco tenacious(cheap but good knife) Back right pocket: Wallet,Iphone 6s Back left pocket: empty (may start using one of those mag carriers for back left now) IWB: Gen 4 Glock 19 Missing multitool for the same reasons Sootch00 said, just don't use one enough to justify having it on me, I do keep a swiss army knife in the car though. Also missing a flashlight, I keep a couple in my car, but I've never had an instance where the Iphone6s light wasnt good enough. Then I keep one of those 3 day premade emergency kits in my car with food, water, flashlight, survival blanket flares etc.
Reminds me... I need to do my end of year EDC video.. lol 😁 Same here with the multi tools, I generally don't use them, so I don't carry em. Did in the past though, but a bulky multi tool gets annoying quick if you don't use it much.
I carry a leatherman surge and in the holster that came with it are three elastic pouches one inside the holster behind the leatherman where i keep 20-40$ for emergencies those have saved my butt many times and on one side of the holster i keep a small 100lumen flash light and on the other side i keep a basic pen i do find i use my leatherman very very often in my day im tryjng to find the right concealed carry and the right belt that can handle the weight wile running when the need arises
I've been using an Ulticlip on my Bladetech 9 Shield holster. They make a belt clip for that leather holster you are displaying which would be much more secure and should just slip into the leather slot.
I carry a g21 with two spare mags, an IFAK, sabre red oc spray, a defensive knife ( rotates), a working knife (rotates), my keys that have a flashlight (fenix e01) and seatbelt cutter on them, a Klarus G20 flashlight, a fisher space pen, a note pad, a bandana, my wallet, my phone, and a spare charger for my phone.
A flashlight currently testing the olight i3t but have many a knife depends on what I like in my collection that day. A ruger lcp in either pocket or iwb with 2 spare mags holding Hornady critical defense. A wallet keys cell phone a Keychain pepper spray and gerber shard a handkerchief and of course a watch and pens I. Always have in the car or somewhere near by
Excellent review. These are some really cool products and suggestions. Btw, I have the exact same style Jackson ostrich leg holster for my Seecamp and feel the same way about mine as you do - love it. Thanks for all your videos, they're great. Keep up the good work.
Casio diving watch, leather belt, baseball hat, George leather wallet, Benchmade mini griptilian, max venom neck karambit, either a clinch pick or a Benchmade SOCP vector thunder bird butane torch, an Olight s30R II, leatherman surge multi tool, key bar, and a Leatherman micra on my keybar
I have to vary my EDC a bit due to legalities of where I live and work. I live in VA but work in DC so that affects what I can carry. But here are my lists: ALWAYS on my person: keys, wallet, iphone 5S in magpul case, writing pen, insulin pen, blood sugar test kit (I'm type 1 diabetic), a 4Sevens Preon 1 flashlight that is clipped to my keychain. USUALLY on my person in addition to the above: Leatherman S2 Juice multitool, Surefire 6PX Tactical flashlight, folding knife that is either a Spyderco Endura 4 FRN or a SOG Mini Aegis EDC for when I'm in VA in addition to all of above: Gen4 Glock 19 loaded with 124 gr +P Gold Dot JHPs in a Crossbreed Supertuck IWB holster, spare 15 round mag in a Crossbreed IWB mag carrier, and a Crossbreed Gun Belt.
I use a rubber band around my wallet. Keeps the contents in and prevents it falling out. Also, is pickpocket resistant. I use an Asparagus band, you could use a Ranger band.
Mine varies due to work restrictions/regulations. So my weekday carry is different than my weekend carry. The common items for both are; a mini Leatherman, a CKRT Ripple, Streamlight Stylus Pro & a Streamlight Stylus (yes 2 lights!) a regular pen (sorry don't have a "tactical" pen), Android cell phone & keys Then there are specific items I carry during the week and other items I carry on the weekend.
I have the same Ruger LCP, I carry it a lot. I usually do not like to go below the .380 acp caliber for self defense, but that is just my personal preference.
Oh I like that magnet for the car key. I have a Keybar too but keep my car key on a separate keychain. I'll have to pick up those magnets though, I like that idea. Thanks for the video sootch.
Hey thanks for the reply! I'm on Amazon right now looking for them and I haven't found anything. There's some that look like they'd work but they're much bigger than what you have. Do you know what I could search for to find them, or have a website where they're sold? Thanks much man!
Scratch that, someone linked it below in the comments. They're from Keybar actually. I think $14 (for brass) is a little pricey but I guess that's what I gotta use. Thanks anyway; keep up the great vids sootch. Do more mil-sup videos/reviews, we love that stuff! I still have a Yugo M48 I gotta finish cleaning cosmoline off of and put back together. P.S. That new copper Olight S Mini baton is frickin awesome. It's a little heavy, but wow is that thing bright. I'm very happy with it.
tokerev in 7.62x25 with extra mag on a shoulder rig or a leather belt holster. two gerber folders. a wallet and wallet knife. 1 of several flash lights on belt holster. a neck punch dagger or a knuckle duster
My EDC is wallet, keys, a small knife,Glock 27 & extra mag in a shoulder holster rig (the Miami Classic), iphone 7S and if I know I'll be out walking at night then I carry a very powerful tactical flashlight (1,000 lumens that also has a built in stun gun (2 million+ volts). The stun gun works well for scaring away aggressive dogs...just the hissing sound seems to make them run. I don't wisk to kill anyone's dog so that does the trick.
in pocket: flip knife, phone, truck fob, wallet, small multitool on person: g shock watch, paracord bracelet in sling: flip knife, Gerber Dime, flashlight, 9mm, extra mag, compass, whistle, tourniquet, surgical gauze. need: lighter, photo of family

I try to purchase the best gear I possibly can, my edc usually consists of a Knife, Flashlight, Watch, Wallet, Keys, and my phone. When I'm at work, I carry all the same items in my pockets but I also have my backpack with some other items in it because I'm in a car all night.
Thanks for the update. I carry a Glock 43 with streamlight tlr6 in a Yetitac AIWB, spyderco delica4, leatherman squirt ps4, olight s15r, iPhone, timex ironman watch, carmex, bandanna, wallet, Kore trakline belt. Every day.
I got LCP gen2 , benchmade afo2 tanto, kershaw leek , along with typical stuff wallet and 6S+ w otterbox , keep things simple but stuff isn't as slim so harder get more and don't want cause interference in access
I carry a messenger bag with me most everywhere i go. I ride a bike to work so it helps carry all my stuff. In that der messenger back I carry a hair brush, I have long hair so that is needed. It also doubles as a survival tool if i ever needed some try tinder my old hair is right there on the brush to pull off and bird nest it! :D I carry two knives a fixed blade and a folder for utility, fixed blade i use a mora. one or two things of floss because i floss after every meal and floss can be used for so many things. Thats basically it though, phone, wallet, smokes/lighter brush, bag knives, keys, flashlight
got myself a zt 0350. probably the 2nd most expensive piece of my edc puzzle. 2nd only to my kimber .45 friends told me it was too expensive and i could've just bought a rat 1. good knife without breaking a bank. no doubt rat 1 is a good knife (i own 2 actually) and it can do a lot of stuff. but when things go south you can take comfort in knowing you have a good tough knife that is built like a tank which is zt. i never go out without it
If you want to free up some pocket space, get a Maxpedition AGR PHP pouch for iPhone 6. Works with most cases. Awesome for use belong clipped to your belt.
Gerber Multi-tool in sheath on belt, Gerber shortcut w/ car keys, Kubotan w/ work keys, Android ph,frt or rear pocket; Spyderco Police knife, rt rr pocket: Avenir pocket bike tool.
As a writer, I can't be without a pen and notepad. Even though I have an iPhone, I grew up when phones had a rotary dial--not that long ago--and I've never managed to get used to recording my thoughts with my thumbs.
Hey Sootch, have you seen the "LighterBro Stealth"? It just popped up on one of my feeds and since you always carry a Bic lighter it might be something useful for you. They're on sale at The Awesomer Shop right now.
Let's see... my EDC usually consists of a pistol (usually Glock 19 or 43), 1 spare mag for the pistol, LCP backup with a spare mag, wallet, keys, Emerson folder, 320 lumen Surefire G2X Tac light, Galaxy Note 5 and a sling bag with my GoPro, storage hard drive, and basic medical supplies inside.
+sootch00... I bought a Maxpedition Fatboy based on your review and love it. It IS my EDC (or man purse as my wife calls it) and goes everywhere with me, packed to the gills at 10 lbs! I don't mind the weight and it functions as a 24 hr bag as well!
I really like the mag holder!
Don, I always put a crisp $20 bill in my magpul phone case between the case and phone. Has saved my butt a couple of times!
Brian T
I aint rolling around with any prostitutes. 😂
Good idea
Great idea.... maybe it will keep my wife from snatching it too : ) Thanks Brian~
You just need to reminded me to refill mine...
Never knew how much I needed a flashlight until I started carrying the olight s mini. Thanks for the recommendation.
Thanks for sharing brother~
Sure, you are welcome.
Bobs Edge PPS 40, my EDC Also, great gun!
I'd lose my damn mind if I had to walk around with that much shit in my pocket lol
Christmas Gummyworm you get used to it.
Christmas Gummyworm I couldn't agree more. that's why I carry a small backpack everywhere I go
You'll notice he often has cargo pockets.
In the winter I even wear a vest that would remind you of a safari guide for extra pockets.
Palmetto Paratrooper why? What's the point?
Palmetto Paratrooper all I carry is keys with a small multi tool on they keychain, phone, wallet, and gun.. I leave everything else in the truck. Chances are I can find a pen at the place I'm at or use the flashlight or clock on my phone. I guess I don't understand the whole EDC hype. I guess it's a fun hobby more than anything else
you need a pocket clip on your lighter and phone
LOL
Ha ha hahahaha
Damn,it's time for a purse.
Ruger Luger , your mom has a purse
Ruger Luger wait..... Never mind
He needs to go to nutnfancy's fanny pack system :-D

Am I the only person who carries a 48 pack of condoms EDC?
Rubicon V no your mom has the same multi pack. she doesn't want another mistake.
Rubicon V raw dog
hey rubicon v, glad you mentioned the condoms. i have not seen one vid discussing personal items and sexual needs. condoms, lube, personal body wipes, tissues, etc etc need to be in the preppers box of everyday items. contraception needs, pills etc need to be top priority. under duress, humans revert to alcohol, cigs and sex to cope. just a thought.
Just having fun. Some you guys so serious...
but plug is a must
I honestly don't think not carrying a multi tool is a choice. People are just born that way.
😎
Just found this yesterday!!! Already ordered wallet with money clip, pen,key bar and Jackson leather works for my Ruger P89. Great prep per videos!!!!
I wish I could have all that in my EDC you guys are so lucky here in the uk 6 of those items can get you arrested if you have them in your pocket, I want to move to the us lol
Hurry up and come man 👊
I've said forever that if I make an edc vid it will include showing where and how each item is carried on the body. It's an important step that I feel is left out of almost every edc vid I watch so good on you for showing some of that at the beginning!
Pop a $20.00 in between your phone and phone case. Sort of a forgetful emergency thing.
I almost passed out seeing the watch price
Aidan Blue The mag holder is $55.00, ouch!
same here the g26 is almost cheaper lol
i guess it's expensive because it's a dive watch.
apperantly, money is no object for this gentleman
its actually a pretty cheap watch considered what you would pay for a proper mechanical watch
Belt, belt clip for keys, keys, Leatherman Wave, holster for Leatherman, Swiss Army knife, Bic lighter, phone, headset for phone, Buck 110 Folding Hunter, Bersa Thunder 380, holster for Bersa, wallet, additional items as needed, usually Vicegrips or fencing pliers.

On weekends when I don't have to tuck in my shirt, I swap the Bodygaurd for an M&P Shield in an ETW holster and a Tinker model Swiss Army Knife replaces the Old Timer.
That little mag carrier you've got looks great. I think I need to get one or two. Thanks!

This is one of the most inspiring EDC carries that I have ever seen. I love the leather work. It's exquisite.
Thanks for sharing.

how do you sit down? must be uncomfortable
UPstater5.9 lol thank you. I don’t know what kind of “deep” way of life he needs all that stuff in his pants.
Pocket hoarder!!! Haha! Great vid Sootch. Two thumbs waaay up.
Lol! Thanks~
Gumball Watterson
amen on the skeeters, and I really like Sccy 9mm, I carry it also
Great set up! The Bull Leather Belt is top notch. Thanks Gumball..... Yes I hate these SC mosquitoes!
i carry a Sccy too (w/ 2 extra mags - which *actually* hold 11+1) & love it, but I'm thinking of upgrading to a Glock 29 10mm... wallet, keys w/ paracord, leatherman, s&w knife, flashlight w/ cell battery charger.
Sooch, i am with you on the multi tool, just Never find the need for it, carried them for a while and every time i really needed a tool, i had a real one accessible so i just couldn't justify the weight. Sorry nuthin....
You should wrap hemp wick around your lighter, it makes your flame last a lot longer and you can use it as cordage.
Sootch , you forgot the suspenders to hold that rig up!! Lol.. I really love the watch, I to enjoy a quality timepiece. My dad is a great holster maker! He's made me several from exotic leather that I cherish.

Excellent set up! Thanks Brother~
Artstar2 also, I feel that the Rat, while sturdy and amazing, tends to be a little clunky for edc imo. having something like a ZT that's so much smoother and slimmer makes a difference when it's on you 24/7
I've been carrying a Kershaw Manifold, MTech USA Xtreme MX-8035, an AQV Multi Tool,
Szco Sap Gloves (When driving or out and about they are worn.), an AQV LED 1000 lumen flashlight, a Beretta PX4 storm full size is carried when I can or at least in the car when I can't. I am also running a LCP2 all the time as a backup. And of course, wallet, cellphone, keys.
Sootch00 Thanks for your posts. I have been facing a family death and your channels are like comfort food. GOD BLESS Spaceman Moe.
I carry as EDC on my belt:
- Swiss Army Tinker Knife (Had since high school)
- Palm Centro Organizer (Had forever too)
- Leather glove pouch w/nitrile gloves and CPR barrier
I carry as EDC in my pockets:
- Usual wallet and cash
- Ferro rod with alcohol pads/tinder
(alcohol pads have multi-uses!)
- Favorite (primary) pen and paper
- Comb and tactical (secondary) pen
- Android phone with ear piece
- Flashlight with keys and lighter
I carry as EDC on my wrists:
- Favorite watch with compass on left
- Morale bracelets on right
Point to note...taking CCW now. =)
Awesome set up. Thanks for sharing~
EDC:
- wallet/keys, car key
- ballpoint pen
- iPhone 7, case
- iPhone headphones (in neoprene zipper case)
- Apple Watch
- Swiss Army 2-blade Pocket Pal
- ChapStick
- Bandana
- UltraFire 7w 300lm Mini Cree Led Flashlight
- Glock 42 (Hornady Critical Defense), kydex holster
Oh yeah! Love the list. Thanks
Love Love Love Love how u do your edc videos show exactly what and why u have it and where or how u carry it that's clear and concise
Right on, Aaron over on Gideon Tactical got me interested in that Vanquest wallet...
really appreciate this approach to edc.
That pocket knife story makes a great point! Love your vids! Thanks!
Watches come in handy to keep track of time, got it :) LOVE AN EDC VIDEO!!! Switch the Glock with an XDM, ditch the back-up gun, add a multi-tool and you've got MY EDC! Thanks for being prepared Sootch.
my edc is a taurus pt 840, extra mag, wallet, phone, keys, bianchi leather holster, rural king farmall belt, and tactical push daggers in SOB.
I also carry in addition to your EDC a leatherman juice s2, a small trauma kit with tourniquet (if you carry something to introduce trauma you will highly likely need something to stop it).
Great explanation about the purpose of EDC. Everyone should consider this.
Two is one, love the deep cover backup.
Another informative video, Sootch. I gravitate to the G26 in the colder months too with the +2 pierce grip and an extra 10rd mag.
Solid set up! Thanks brother~
Right pocket :Ruger LCP in a desantis nemesis
Left pocket: Car keys, Spyderco tenacious(cheap but good knife)
Back right pocket: Wallet,Iphone 6s
Back left pocket: empty (may start using one of those mag carriers for back left now)
IWB: Gen 4 Glock 19
Missing multitool for the same reasons Sootch00 said, just don't use one enough to justify having it on me, I do keep a swiss army knife in the car though.
Also missing a flashlight, I keep a couple in my car, but I've never had an instance where the Iphone6s light wasnt good enough.
Then I keep one of those 3 day premade emergency kits in my car with food, water, flashlight, survival blanket flares etc.
Thanks for the well thought out list! Top notch~
Reminds me... I need to do my end of year EDC video.. lol 😁
Same here with the multi tools, I generally don't use them, so I don't carry em.
Man who EDCs pen
May not need EDC multitool
Hehe
Great video sootch
1. Gun
2. Knife/Multi-tool
3. Light
4. Phone
5. Watch
6. Bible
7. Wallet/Keys
Nice. EDC. Good tips and I like your explanation of each item. Thanks
Casio diving watch, leather belt, baseball hat, George leather wallet, Benchmade mini griptilian, max venom neck karambit, either a clinch pick or a Benchmade SOCP vector thunder bird butane torch, an Olight s30R II, leatherman surge multi tool, key bar, and a Leatherman micra on my keybar
I'd love to see another video of what's in your range bag
Glock 26 (pocket carry), Spyderco Delica 4, Leatherman Skeletool, Olight baton S1, Wenger Swiss Army locking blade pocket knife, Duluth Trading Firehose Flex cargo pants (lots of pockets, hides pocket carry well AND accommodates pocket carry well, shorts in warm weather, long pants in cooler weather), SOE 1.75" Cobra Rigger's Belt Without Velcro Lining.
I have to vary my EDC a bit due to legalities of where I live and work. I live in VA but work in DC so that affects what I can carry. But here are my lists:
ALWAYS on my person: keys, wallet, iphone 5S in magpul case, writing pen, insulin pen, blood sugar test kit (I'm type 1 diabetic), a 4Sevens Preon 1 flashlight that is clipped to my keychain.
USUALLY on my person in addition to the above: Leatherman S2 Juice multitool, Surefire 6PX Tactical flashlight, folding knife that is either a Spyderco Endura 4 FRN or a SOG Mini Aegis
EDC for when I'm in VA in addition to all of above: Gen4 Glock 19 loaded with 124 gr +P Gold Dot JHPs in a Crossbreed Supertuck IWB holster, spare 15 round mag in a Crossbreed IWB mag carrier, and a Crossbreed Gun Belt.
Nice set up Brother. Thanks for the list!
I use a rubber band around my wallet. Keeps the contents in and prevents it falling out. Also, is pickpocket resistant. I use an Asparagus band, you could use a Ranger band.
Mine varies due to work restrictions/regulations. So my weekday carry is different than my weekend carry.
The common items for both are; a mini Leatherman, a CKRT Ripple, Streamlight Stylus Pro & a Streamlight Stylus (yes 2 lights!) a regular pen (sorry don't have a "tactical" pen), Android cell phone & keys
Then there are specific items I carry during the week and other items I carry on the weekend.
It's really strong too. I hate to start my truck and then to grab something from the shop .... Thanks Brother!
Good job, Sir!
Keep up the awesome videos!
I am a Brazilian Army major who is a fan of your videos.
thank you, Sir!
tokerev in 7.62x25 with extra mag on a shoulder rig or a leather belt holster. two gerber folders. a wallet and wallet knife. 1 of several flash lights on belt holster. a neck punch dagger or a knuckle duster
I like the way you think! Tokarev 7.62x25 will take care of business : ) Thanks

Great loadou, Sootch! Just missing a multitool, like a Wave or a Charge.
Every day.
Nice set up brother!
Benchmade Griptilian with gray G10, Flipside wallet, Casio G-Shock, Klarus XT11s, Galaxy S6 in a Otter box case. Nice vid Sootch!
for those wanting the magnet - Key-bar sells them, called the magnut. Its under accessories under the Keybar products tab
2nd only to my kimber .45
friends told me it was too expensive and i could've just bought a rat 1. good knife without breaking a bank. no doubt rat 1 is a good knife (i own 2 actually) and it can do a lot of stuff. but when things go south you can take comfort in knowing you have a good tough knife that is built like a tank which is zt. i never go out without it
If you want to free up some pocket space, get a Maxpedition AGR PHP pouch for iPhone 6.
Those pocket holsters look super nice
Hey Sootch, have you seen the "LighterBro Stealth"? It just popped up on one of my feeds and since you always carry a Bic lighter it might be something useful for you. They're on sale at The Awesomer Shop right now.
I always find myself spending money I can't afford to spend after your EDC videos.
Hi Sootch, always enjoy the vids. Was wondering if you could do a traveling/vacation edc especially when flying. Thanks!
people love this stuff.
Thanks for showing how you carry as well as what.
+sootch00... I bought a Maxpedition Fatboy based on your review and love it. It IS my EDC (or man purse as my wife calls it) and goes everywhere with me, packed to the gills at 10 lbs! I don't mind the weight and it functions as a 24 hr bag as well!
Great tips ! Thx for the video . Love the wallet and understand the cash thing .
So many pocket clips damn
I love how I catch hell in my video for carrying two guns. Great video.
