I saw Craig as Phantom on tour in Cleveland, OH back in August 1997 I believe. Clearly, he was one of the best Phantoms I’ve seen (11)! He brings humanity to role and doesn’t overplay the emotions like so many do.
Why? Did you see Craig live on stage and not like him? He definitely had a good grasp on the character in my opinion. In fact, he's portrayal is one of the most humanistic approach to the role. I've seen 11 Phantoms on stage and wish I had seen more. Thankfully with UA-cam I can see a bunch of others in bits of pieces. My go to scene is 'The Final Lair.'
