You got up there pretty high even without summiting the peak. Thanks for all the views.

Yeah, submitting Mount Siyeh would have been a challenge. Going to the pass was just perfect 👍.

We did this hike in early August 2023. Our next handful of vids will be from Glacier. Thanks for reaching out to us. Happy trails!

Hi there, me again lol! We are planning to visit GNP following your step. I know it can easily spend a month without repeating on any trail but how many days do you think is relatively enough to deeply enjoy the park? We also like hiking same as you guys but with a 3-year old boy maybe need extra time. Also, did you take any of the boat tour and if so how was it? For this trail and the Grinnell Glacier trail, can we visit in late June? Not sure if they are open at that time? Sorry for so many questions

Hello! Late June puts you in the ballpark of when the Going to the Sun Road normally opens all the way across the park. Some years it's a little earlier and some years it's not until early July. My guess is that you will have snow on some of the trails, but again that varies year to year. We've been there twice, one time in early July and the other time late July into August. On the early July visit we had some snow to deal with on trails but they were passable. If you want to deeply enjoy the park, you need a minimum of one week and I would suggest 2 weeks if you have that much time. If you're on Facebook, join the Glacier National Park Hiking & Backpacking group. The administrators on this page are very knowledgable and helpful, especially Rose Barton. We've been to all but 4 NP's in the lower 48 and GNP is our favorite. One last thing, GNP has a timed entry program so make sure you go to the GNP website to learn the details. Happy Trails!

@@BuckeyeDrifters Thank you so much! This park is stunning especially after watching your videos! We are planning to live in a camp to avoid entry reservation and save some time on the road, but seems we need to get out of the park if we wish to go to Two Medicine or Many Glacier from Lake McDonald/St. Mary. Not sure if you had the same issue or maybe there is another way?

@@shawnzhang13 we've always stayed outside the park in Saint Mary. Staying on the east side of GNP gives you quicker access to Many Glacier and Two Medicine. I do remember seeing a campground inside the park not far from the east park entrance. We had success getting next day permits into the park. If we didn't, we would enter the park before permit hours.

@@BuckeyeDrifters Very true, earlier the better in those popular parks. Thank you again for all the great videos and help, looking forward to seeing more adventures from you!

@@BuckeyeDrifters Oh god, I guess the 4 NPs in the lower 48 you haven't been to are Dry Tortugas, Biscayne, Channel Islands, but I can't tell what the other one lol

Have yall ever seen a bear?

We’ve seen a lot of bears over the years. We’ve hiked in 48 national parks in the lower 48 states and we’ve seen more in Glacier NP than any other.
