In this clip, Vlad and 1090 Jake discuss the circumstances surrounding Tory’s imprisonment. Tory reportedly requested a transfer to general population but is being moved to a supermax prison, a type of high-security prison 85 miles south of his current location. General population in supermax operates differently from regular prisons, in which prisoners usually share cells but are confined most of the time. In supermax, inmates are isolated, and interactions are strictly controlled. Speculations are being made that Tory might end up in protective custody due to his celebrity status, but as a first-time offender without a serious crime on his record, his repositioning to supermax, a prison usually reserved for high-risk criminals, is provoking confusion and questions about the underlying reasons for such a move.
Tory is not in PC, he’s also not in a supermax. He’s on a level 2 medium security yard in general population. He also requested it. Vlad thinking everything Meghann Cuniff says is a fact

The whole Tehachapi Supermax story didn't even make sense and Jake couldn't even figure out the hypothetical reasoning to put him there. I also read that he put in the paperwork and signed off on requesting to be on the yard and I'm sure he'll be okay. He has money to buy his protection and do easier time especially as a popular artist. Or he'll be with the Christian folks who are often left alone. It's just wildly stupid that he got 10 years instead of taking a plea where he'd have been out in a little over 2.

In hand-to-hand combat, the odds only favor the 5'3 man if he's experienced, and the larger man has little to no experience.
So in Vlad's case - if he were fighting Demetrious Johnson, Demetrious would absolutely brutalize him, and it wouldn't be close.

Tehachapi isn’t a “SUPERMAX”. There are no Supermaxes in any state only in the Feds. Also Tehachapi is a level 3 yard if I remember
When it comes to Federal Supermax there is only 1, which is in Colorado and houses the terrorists/bombers.
When it comes to State Supermax, there's about 40 of them across the country - Tehachapi being one of them.
States have Supermaxes, i know they built one in GA when i was first going to prison in 09'. They put Brian NIchols there.

The massive confusion about whether or not a Super Max is general population is hilarious. GP is everywhere administrative segregation isn't. It doesn't matter if one is locked down while the top tier is out and vice versa. The only Super Max security prison is ADX Florence Colorado ran by the Federal Bureau of Prisons. 23 and 1 is considered Maximum Security/Super Max.

ive done a year in jail one thing i hate is ppl making jail seem worse than what it really is. yes theres politics when you go to jail but at the end of the day what it boils down to is respect. if youre respectful ppl are gonna respect you back. now if you go in there not keeping it real and being disrespectful then you may run into issues. but if youre in there being respectful minding your business nobodys gonna fuck with you. nobody is in there just trying to start fights for no reason. from my experience everyone is just trying to do their time in peace and if youre cool to them they will be cool to you.

Tehachapi is a level 2 prison. It’s not max security. I’ve been locked up here in cali before. That facility has single man cells/modules. It’s not a max. Level 4 is a max
