I had one that did that in the first month I owned it. Sent it back, Fanatec repaired it, worked fine for 10 months. Then it started again. This time Fanatec blamed it on EMI issues with my rig. They said I needed to ground the shifter. By the time I got around to figuring out how to do that it was out of warranty and guess what...???....grounding it still didn’t help. I ended up just buying a new one and it’s been working flawlessly for 6 months now. I’d buy another product if there was a good replacement on the market but there just isn’t for H pattern. I have an AioLogs SQ shifter now so maybe since I don’t switch the Fanatec shifter back and fourth from H to SQ that’s helped in its reliability.
I have this issue intermittent with mine as well, strange enough most times I just undo the 4 bolts on top spray some compressed air on the boards on the shifter and I at usually fixes it for a couple weeks, annoying though, anything more permanent?

I just bought 1 an it just came in... im having the same issue with it... did u ever get contacted back from fanatec?? thanks
