Massive thanks to Wayne for putting this ride together and inviting us along, it's not small feat hunting out all this trail, organising fuel, food and even accommodation, leading the ride and managing to get it all to run smoothly. I feel honoured to be invited. Cheers Wayne.
It's not easy wrestling a bike that outweighs everything by 100 lbs. Amazing video. Should be on network television, so millions could enjoy. These boys have a new found respect for the big DR.
Epic ride and even more epic rider. You were killin' it out there on the DR. Couple of those low limbs had me ducking in my chair while I watched. Great, great video!
Excellent video, Insane ride mate. The war pig did well, really great footage and some of those low limbs had me ducking for cover. What a great state we live in, ride safe. Cheers
Insane ride mate - well done hanging with the skinny bikes. Great line "smashing the puds" - when you are soaked through and know you arn't going to get any wetter.
Ya that sucks, I did the exact same thing to mine this summer climbing a long steep trail. Worst part was clutches were like hens teeth at the time, so I lost a month of riding waiting for parts!
Wow! You are an epic rider. I have recently purchased a cogent suspension to try and keep up with my buddies on thier expensive 450 and 690 bikes. We don't ride quite that crazy though. If you keep pumping out good video your channel should grow fast!
Check out our "listen with your feet" video. If you can get your head around those tips, it will do even more for your riding than the Cogent kit. Thanks for the support!
Yeh. My imagination. The exhaust and tool tube was a touch loose because I was rushed swapping my parts off the other DR to make this ride... but the sound was likely a stick jammed in the bike somewhere.
@@SKIDSnSTUFF nice 👍. I just got an 05 dr650 a few weekends ago. It's got the same tank as yours, hand guards and aluminum skid plate. Stiffer front forks and rear spring. Had to lower it a little cause my legs are short 😁. I named it stumpy. So far I love it.
When you're riding like this, do you lead with the more experienced person in front to set the pace, or do you put them in the back? I'm a slow rider, and just learning dirt, so I'm wondering how riding with others works. Thanks! 🙂
This particular ride works on what we call a corner man system. Which is what is getting talked about in the first couple group clips. So one front guide, a rear sweep rider, and the rest of the group swaps around. Best thing to do is try find beginner friendly rides or those with similar experience.
If U r just learning to ride dirt U Wana sit behind the fastest rider U can keep up with, watch the line they ride n brake when they brake, U won't ever get fast riding behind slow riders

Whoa that was full on! 😳😂👍🏁 Epic ride and heart stopping when the Warpig hit the quicksand! Your videos never disappoint Ben! Keep up the great work! 💪😁🏍💨
What an awesome looking ride man, you definitely can throw that pig around like a dirtbike. Interested to know how you managed to keep riding without the clutch? Was it just thrashing through the gears?
Between the perch and cable adjustment, had just enough adjustment to nurse it home. But I do have a video about how to ride with a broken clutch cable/lever
I think we will get away with it. Gave her a quick spray down when we got back to the hotel, then a proper wash and a CRC bath once home. It's not the first time I've drowned a DR in salt water and that one got out alright.

Yeh it keeps the day flowing riding with enduro bikes

Great video, thanks for sharing! Did you have a friction material in your oil, or was it just over heated?
Most the fibres had crumbled off and the face plate was badly scored so yeh it was a mess
