I understand that in 1958, there were only 14 different keys for all General Motors cars. I don't have any information about British cars. In her autobiography, Shirley Temple Black tells of leaving a Hollywood nightclub and the parking valet brings up a Cadillac. She was quite a distance away when she saw a violin case on the back seat and realized it wasn't her Cadillac. The parking valet was quite relieved to have the car back.
What have the years done to the British motor industry? that year car on the street was Rover Wosley Austin Humber, Hillman, Vauxhall, Ford, Jag, Morris, Bedford, etc. Now can hardly see a British build car on the roads, German, French, Japanese, S. Korean.
They were too small to survive against the much bigger foreign producers. So they were absorbed into bigger firms and eventually those firms were sold to the same foreign producers. Also Ford is an American not British car maker and still builds cars in the UK.
@@Makeyourselfbig late 50s 60s 70 there wasn't to many foreign cars on British roads. compare this day hardly you can spot British car on the road or motorway. German, French, Korean, Japanese, some Italian.95 percent car on Britain is foreign. not just the car domestic use goods also foreign. Chinese took over all domestic goods, South Korean and Japanese teknoloji. I don't know what Britain produce to day. Any idea please let me know. I'm not talking military equipment.Every day uses.

The thought of a Police Officer having a key to my car feels me with ease and concern at the same time..

Police unlocks somebody's car and drives away..
So that's why Mr Bean used an additional lock on his Mini
Yeah he was commiting parking violations all the time 😂
The Your Momma joke at the end haha.
Some jokes are as old as time itself. It's funny how different the world is today, yet not as different as we think in some ways.
@@Seeker-wq8jc Yes indeed, you are a great writer..
What a great city London was back then, I was a mere year old when this great old clip was made .
Every time I've driven into London I've deeply regretted it. :0/
Who do you think you are Sterling Moss?
I have a solution: USE PUBLIC TRANSPORT IF YOU CAN.
EDSA in Metro Manila is doing it well, and it has good cause and reason too.
