My all time favorite arrows- The Lightest arrows!!
Check them out on our website!

A shooting form coaching series would be awesome with details on using adjustable sights and the mechanics for different release types especially for the beginners
Absolutely, I am currently recovering from shoulder surgery because I used improper form and shot through fatigue after not having shot my bow for a while. So even a way to build proper muscle support would be cool. Maybe include elkshape on it.
Yeah that would be great. A school of nock style series MFJJ style.
How about a video where you guys shoot 3 store bought pre-fletched arrows and 3 of your custom built arrows from 20 all the back to 60 and see how they group. It would be interesting to see how much difference it makes. Or do it with a 1 thousandths a 3 thousandths and a 6 thousandths of the same brands and see how much difference there is in grouping. Love the channel keep up the good work!
They can’t do that. It’d cost them money when people realize it doesn’t make a difference 😂
Out of all the Archery Shop channels, I would have to say this is the best one. I have never felt like you are just trying to push or sell a product for your shop in any of your videos. You bring a lot of knowledge and experience to your reviews and are genuinely trying to help everyone in the community, not just those who support your shop.
As for video topics, I think fireside videos about personal adventures/experiences would be a great series (A-la B-Mac style). EX. Recounting bow hunts/event/competitions over the years. The overall experience you had, the gear/bow/arrow setup you used, what you liked/didn't, etc.
My uncle has been bow hunting for 30+ years and he told me he wanted to pull out his bow from 20 years ago and start slinging with it again. He's a taxidermist as well and showed me some of the animals he harvested with that bow. He knows he is in for a shock with it compared to his Mathews V3, but he wants to shoot it anyways. Everyone loves a good story, especially hunting stories, so that would be a great series to start and add to every month or couple months.
I like the no nonsense approach..."here it is, this is what I do, you may think differently but try it for yourself and see if it works..."
I feel annoying when I ask my pro shop these questions.... (I understand the people who come thru the doors....)
For every 100 people, about 2 truly understand....
Thank you for taking the time to make these videos.
Stay humble.
Thanks for the video Josh. Been checking these out for whitetail cut to 28 with the victory ss60 gr.shok insert/outsert
I just was diagnosed with dementia. This season will probably be my last one. I would love to have a set of these arrows.
Did you give these arrows to someone yet?
Ever since I started watching. You And Elkshape I’ve been shooting a lot more and learning everything I can. I’ll definitely be ordering from you soon. Keep up the great work guys.
Shooting form videos and bow shop tutorials for all us home bow shop folks! Thanks again MFJJ for all you do and all your great content! Much appreciated
Man I can’t believe how many sets of arrows you are giving away you’re like Archery Oprah! Keep up the good work and don’t let the scammers get you down!
7.1 GPI now that’s impressive for a 300 spine arrow! TAC arrow…sling ‘em and zing ‘em!
I would enjoy seeing more about arrow selection for different setups such as choosing the right spine, broadhead weight, etc.
Thanks for the review. This old dumpy guy needs new shafts for TAC and the NW Challenge!
I’m really enjoying this technical side of archery, it’s scratching that itch that I have to tinker while I’m waiting on the UPS guy to bring me more stuff to tinker with. Thanks for the content!
I’ve been hunting coues deer all my life in Arizona. I can’t believe I haven’t tried this arrow yet. Grabbing some now.
I really like how you diversify options. Not just the cookie cutter or trend. You really have touched on almost all how to topics. How about “how not to”.
Here’s what not to do and why! And when you screw it up here’s what will happen. Just a thought. Again great job!
Thanks for keeping it up.
Used to shoot nothing but Easton arrows until watching you and the Elkshape guys, convinced me to try a change. Went to RIP TKO’s and won’t look back. Great technical and coaching content. Keep up the great work. Respect from Australia.
If you ask me, I believe that’s a scam. I got the same thing.
Love these quick little tutorials. For a noob like me they are gold, so thanks.
I'd like to see a beginner guide for what you look for when installing new strings on each different type of bow, checking Ata brace hight cam timing. Things to check to give you confidence in your work. Thanks josh!! Also already shooting the xvs and love them!
I like how fast you get thru all the data Josh. That’s rad. Keep the videos coming.
Great videos keep it up. Love the DIY content. Knowing is half the battle!
Ranch Fairy is shaking his head watching this. Solid tac arrow for sure.
My favorite hunting arrows. I run 300 spine 28” with 140 grain ethics outserts lighted knock with 125 grain point comes out to a tad over 20% foc at just over 500 grains. My youngest blew through a hogs shoulder and the arrow had enough energy to hit a second hog bust a rib and stop in its hart. Neither went over 60 yards came home sharpened the broadhead and killed another hog 2 days later they were all in the 100-125lb range. They are all you need in Texas.
Just bought a dozen of these Victory EV in .003 from Podium Archery. I run 300 spine, silent knight fletchings, the stock aluminum inserts, and 85grain field points at 73lbs and they are screaming fast. I’ll say this, I’ve never shot tighter groups at 70 yds than I have with these arrows!!! Keep up the great work Josh, love the videos and the knowledge!!!
Have you shot them through a chronograph I’m shooting 175 up front and had to run a lighted nock cause I’m shooting 80# I can shoot 120 yards with the garmin zero a1i pro just in the scope I believe I could drop the weight and achieve the same I just shoot horrible at 70# I don’t pull into the back wall hard
Thank you great informational video. It's a blessing to be able to learn so much from someone who is so knowledgeable
I'm a first time watcher
God's Blessings on all your adventures
I’d like to see more shot techniques and form videos. Perhaps a back tension series? That would get me by for a while until I can schedule a lesson from you.
Great video as always. Your titanium inserts are awesome by the way.
The XV is one of my fav all time arrows. And when it comes having a question about a bow or setting up,this is the channel I turn to. Love the content.
Great review man! I look forward to these. Anything under 400gr. Is going to be screaming! Some guys say a lighter arrow is tougher to tune, the faster you push it. With your knowledge and being the goat with ABT, you probably have no issue getting these things to spine out perfectly.
With spring coming, doing a lab radar speed degradation test with super heavy arrows vs these with different vane configurations/helical would be cool to see. With a bare shaft as a control.
Thanks for the specs on these, I run a similar set up with 340s but I end up at 430 taw with 16%foc. These are right up my alley, I like as much foc as I can get on as light as arrow while keeping the spine good for my bow.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I like seeing and learning about everything you share. The simple things you do, that you don’t even think about are awesome little bits of education.
I have used BE carnivore for the same reason and love them. Have really wanted to try these as well
Data point on these. I've shot into 3/4" plywood at 20 yards and stopped them in 2x4s without any breaking. The only breaks have been hit by other arrows. Hunted and shot 3d with them for 2 years. Pulling 75 lbs, 31 in draw, 400 gr total arrow weight with their 60 grain SS inserts. Speed is 328 fps out of an older Xpedition.
I hear a lot of these might not be durable, but that has not been my experience.
Every time I hit something hard with these arrows they break. Between setting up my slider, not resetting my slider to its home position and shooting thru my bag target I've broke 3 rip XV arrows hitting something hard(wood & composite deck board). I broke one Tuesday this week shooting thru my target and hitting a 2x4 @ 50yds this being the third one I've broke. Every time I break one I contemplate switching to rip tko's.... I've hunted whitetail with these arrows with excellent results but given I botch things up and hit a shoulder I feel the rip XV will shatter leaving me with a wounded animal. I know don't hit the shoulder but we all know what can happen in the heat of the moment. I've been running the factory rip XV 21gr aluminum insert and have been researching if changing the insert would help with durability? I used hot melt to install the inserts on the last 6 rip xv arrows I have because I was debating on switching inserts. Big decision to switch arrows this late in the year with whitetail season getting close but I still have plenty of time. I love the rip XV and they work very well for whitetail but I do everything to be ethical with my kills and keep debating on switching to a more durable arrow.
Love these, just built 2 dozen 300s for TAC with 150g nibs
I hope im the lucky winner but i camt wait for the fireside chats but i love everything you do esp. When you tell the technical shit like i loved lear i.g the simplest thing off a video from 2 years ago when you and dan were talking about 3 or 4 vame and how you dont wamt a gap between the front of your one vane to the next of your back, i mighta said that wrong but you know what i mean lol thanks again
I've been shooting xv's for 3 years now and absolutely love them
Would love to continue to see unbiased product reviews and head-to-head comparisons.
Thanks for all the info you put on here. My wife gets tired of listening to archery videos. Lol
Just getting back into archery and would love to see more how to videos on bow tuning. I love your channel so keep making more videos!!!
I've used your tutelage of Dan, Tim, and Jake a ton since I'm teaching myself how to use a bow and how to hunt. Keep it coming, dude.
I really enjoy all the educational content you post. It helps me when working on or tuning my bow. You, Dan, Tim, and Jake are fun to watch.
This little reply for package ready is a scam. I got the same thing on mine, and so did several others.
Great content. You need to get back outside shooting with Dan in some of your videos, the banter between you two is priceless.
The how to on arrows is something I would like more of. I have watched them on elk shape. Taking some advice and trying to lighten up a little bit with my setup
You might've answered this before, I should take a look....but if you have not, could you talk about the concept/importance of FOC? Thanks for all you are doing!
Video idea, what field repair gear do you carry when hunting and maybe the most common equipment failures one might experience in the field. Thanks MFJJ and keep the awesome info coming!
I bought a dozen from you last year and absolutely love them. I shoot a bunch and hunt whitetails. 2 pass through this year on deer and I'm still using those 2 arrows.
@GIVEAWAY-691 did I really win?
I've been pretty happy with those shafts. I've only tried with aluminum 50gr HITs or carbon tubes bonded to HITs with small collars, but with that setup they've held up surrounded well even to angled impacts. I have had lighted nocks cause the back end to get hairline cracks, but a nock collar solved that as well. With 250 spine I ditch the nock collars and they've been more than adequate.
Hey thanks for the arrow review. I would like a few more videos about target info (bows, equipment, set ups, and your opinions about pros and cons with each piece of equipment) thanks
250 spine, 200 up front at 8.1 GPI 458gr. These damn things fly. Good call sir!
Would like to see something on the Gold Tip Airstrike and Sirius Gemini. Both kind of light like the XV's, but not exactly.
Just built a half dozen of these for Turkey season, totaled out at 365 grains. Usually shoot 5mm FMJ’s for deer. These baby’s zip right along.
Super content!
I would really like to see a complete (in your opinion ideal) Bow + Arrow Builds for different applications, e.g.: Setup for Elk-Hunting, Setup for Treestand Whitetail Hunting, Setup for 3D Archery Course (TAC) etc.
Keep on going and thank you for your support!
Best regards from Germany!
I haven’t had time to go through all of your videos but if you could do a deep dive into specifics on arrow building. Jigs and best practices with them, helical with offset; how much, how little offset, vanes for specific purposes, FOC vs Speed; ie where is some of your customers and your happy medium. Thanks and keep the awesome content coming!
Thank you for all of these arrow reviews, I really enjoy having them as a solid resource. I too would like to see a full bow build... and I wouldnt mind winning me a dozen of these to take to TAC haha
I'm completely new to archery, just purchased a phase 4 29 last month. Within the past 3 weeks, I've learnef a great deal from your videos. Looking forward to more knowledge and thank you for continuing to make these videos.
Your first bow is a phase 4? I hope your draw weight isn't to high. Be ashamed to hurt your shoulder after that kind of purchase. Enjoy, you'll probably never need another bow
Presto!🤣🤣🤣. Literally looking at this very arrow today for TAC, surely it’s a sign
Love the videos JJ, concise on explaining everything in your process. It would be great if you could list the components used in the description area of the videos just to make sure we are looking apples to apples as you list of products. Thanks again for the great videos.
Looking fresh Josh fresh cut buddy !!Another good 1 josh really do love the RIP arrows great product. When you gonna do some shooting?(videos)
I shot these at 440 grains with my Nitrum Turbo at 70lb, literally through the bag target and almost all the way through the plywood at the back. Great arrows.
And they say there's no KE from anything under 575gr.... Ahaha
Love these arrow videos. Great way to compare them by just using the hard data.
Definitely some tuning and form videos. The reviews are awesome as well.
Was actually about to buy some of these for tac(first time shooting it) perfect timing! Keep up the awesome content mfjj!
Glad to see a review on these, hard to get an arrow that isn’t well over 500 grain with 15% with 30.5 dl. Think these will be my 2023 hunting arrow!
Basically new, but yet saw a dozen things that helped me so, keep up the good work , and i would like to see some more archery schooting/testing with all kind of set up's, tac, hunting, target, 3D, fletchings, weith, broadhead etc...
Would be ideal for a TAC set up. These would be screaming out of my bow!
It’d be awesome to see a video on in depth tuning of bows. I’ve seen MFJJ assemble several bows and address tuning for on particular bow, but it’d be very helpful to understand all options for all tuning situations. For example: If a, then do b…if y, then do x or z. Etc.
Form videos, tuning and setup, replacing center serving would all be good. Really more of the same. Appreciate your content!
I'd love to see even more how-to's on bow building, arrow building, proper form and technique videos. I've learned a lot already and look forward to more videos!
Thank you, for all your videos. i always look for the next level to improve on all aspects of archery. Currently shooting Black Eagle Carnivore, i just may switch now.
Always watching to learn something new.
Getting more into tinkering this year and building a new set of arrows! Love the content!
I bought a dozen of these from MFJJ after watching his TAC arrow video. The arrows are truly light and, as a result, very fast (fastest fps I’ve ever clocked on my set up). As he mentioned, they are not the most durable. I’ve broken a couple in practice when arrows accidentally collided in the target. I wish I had used a nock bushing with them. I may buy more and use them for a TAC.
Liked the video Josh , I ordered these and the titanium half outs from you and thats my setup this yr . I m shooting V3x 33 at 30 1/4 draw #70 RIP Extreme 250 spine at 291/4 in arrow with 50 grain titanium half outs and a 100 grain tip , fletched will bully vanes . My arrows are 407.7-408.2 grains . So far so good .
I love the videos you are a wealth of knowledge some video ideals make be fletching comparison how shape and size affects flight
Thank you for the review, they’re always great! I’ve been waiting for this review for a while!
Content wise, I think a series on tuning your bow and building an arrow for forgiveness would be great!
The videos and input specially in Canada help alot! The professionalism, and just who you are as a person have helped me wrap my head around a bunch of stuff. Was thinking about making some smaller targets to go into large steel silhouettes of animals as I only have the one block . That might be a cool how too fun one!
I would love to use these on whitetail with a 100gr fixed broadhead, tac driver 2.75 vanes, and lighted nocks. At a 27" draw length, I love shooting faster arrows and currently hunt with a 442 gr arrow.
I love seeing you share your knowledge and experience. And the fact that you can back it up with your bow shows it is applied knowledge which is second to none in my opinion.
MFJJ love watching all your videos! So much information to take in. Love you give your time to educate us all.
Great info, Just keep the knowledge bombs coming👊🏻
Great arrow! Shooting 72lb @ 31" draw, 316fps with the Ventum Pro 33 and 250 spine XV's. Set them up with the titanium collar and they have zipped thru many deer, driven thru ACTUAL shoulder bone and out the other side, one accidentally straight through a deers head. They have proven to be more indestructible than the Gold Tip Hunter Pro that broke on every deer it seemed. Keep up the content, love it!
What's your arrow weight? Sounds like a good set up
@@wcwcgarner2717 428g t.a.w., it's zips through everything it touches.
@@CMHasty028 I shoot Easton axis 5mm 340 spine at 420 grains. I know I believe you. That's a great weight
Do a review of the dialed archery arxos, I’ve seen Dan and Tim do one but would like your take on it. Love your reviews, form coaching and how to’s.. keep up the great work.
Great work on your videos! It would be cool to see actual FPS with different poundage bows somehow with each of the arrows you are reviewing, and maybe if you have an inconsistent arrow how much does it differ from the rest of the arrows with flight, accuracy, speed, etc. Maybe thats a rabbit hole and not value added, but could be interesting to see.
I know there are arrow speed calculators but I'm not sure how accurate those are. Thanks for putting out the content!
Thanks so much for the info. Looking to get some of these.
Love the vids Josh! Can you give a video how to draw a bow properly and what not to do? See lots of people saying different things. Don’t wanna blow a shoulder out thinking I’m doing everything right!
Would love to see some how to’s on bow tuning and broadhead tuning. now I know every bow and broadhead is different, just be curious to see how a professional like yourself goes about it. Love your videos!
Wow.... Someone if finally looking out for the little man! LOL
Thanks for doing a video on it. I never knew this product existed.
In the future I would like to some more target bow reviews.
Keep up the good work!
Thanks so much for everything you do! I’ve learned so much in the last year from watching all your videos.
Actually love this arrow now started using it after I saw you run that setup for tack. Has been a game changer with my site tape. Shooting out to 150 for the bubble level
Dude I’d love to see a target bow set up you would do! I think that’d be a sweet video! Thanks for the insight on these arrows, definitely a contester for me this year at TAC!
Wow that’s impressive. Hope I’m drawn for the giveaway! If not, I might buy them anyways
Thank you for the knowledge you deliver. Subscribed. I didn’t think these would be able to hunt with but I trust your judgement and experience. My next set of arrows will for sure be some Victory’s.
Great info once again MJF.I think Victory has some of the best tolerance in there arrows.Keep the great video coming!
Those arrows with a titanium insert, 150gr helix and 3 tac driver vanes are lasers out of my revolt x and don’t even think twice about blowing through a whitetail even at 50.
Great content. You made me switch to RIP TKO and I love it. I would be interested in a little more talks with archery related to hunting or anything in that direction.
Rip XV is the same shaft as the 3DHV, difference is they come with different components. Great arrows great video
Been shooting Victory arrows for a while now, great arrow! Just started trying these RIP XV's this year and I'm happy with my build. They are on the more fragile side but worth the sacrifice for the speed and high foc in my opinion.
Great info. I enjoy your videos., especialy the shooting tips and bow reviews. Keep up what your doing. I need those arrows.
It would be cool to have some videos on form, shot process, mechanics etc.
The bow/arrow reviews are great and super helpful so keep those coming!
That’s crazy like I could only imagine the distance out of these
I was just looking at these shafts the other day as an option to get some heavy high FOC setups with a 200 grain cutthroat. I’d love to see a video on the various fletch types and their applications along with the different types of insert/outsert options.
Thanks for all the reviews, tips and information you put out there, I have enjoyed watching your channel and have learned a lot. I was excited to see the RIP XV review, I ordered a set from you about two days ago along with your titanium inserts. I’m looking forward to getting them put together and speeding down the range!
