Today we are reviewing the Redragon K599, this is a TKL keyboard. It is currently offered in Outemu Red Switches, you can use this keyboard wired and wireless (2.4Ghz). This keyboard is also hot-swappable, overall this keyboard is pretty solid and I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a budget wireless TKL keyboard.

Nice review, very good quality. I plan on buying this keyboard. Haven't even thought about lubing the switches, but the difference is substantial, so thank you for showing that.

@@LuisAwesomest I'm glad too haha, small question, do you know why the software is installed but when I try to open it, it just shows a small redragon icon in the right part of the Taskbar but no actual program starts up?

Not only compatible with Otemu switches... you can use any three-pronged switches like Akko, etc. as well!

A genuine, no-joke question...can I use vaseline as lube for the stabs? I currently don't have access to that grease or whatever you've used...
I think Vaseline is too thick for mechanical keyboard. It will feel very mushy so I don't suggest it.
@@bana-agjr.jimm.9737 what about the lubricant that comes with electric trimmers? I have quite a bit of those
@@dontmatter4423 U can try it for urself if it works for u or not. I had a friend who used motor grease and it worked great for him, not mushy, just good enough. I don't know how thick or thin that lube/grease is so I wouldn't know if it's gonna have a good outcome. Good luck ;)
@@dontmatter4423 If u mean hair trimmers, the lubricant in there is too thin (just like a cooking oil), it won't last for a very long time as it would just run all over the stabs and/or switches.

I’m pretty sure this is a 65% or 70% keyboard. TKL keyboards have the function keys at the top.

Hey, I was just wondering my keyboard just stop working mid game? i tried charger it but no light is coming up. what do you think i should do?
Hi! so every few minutes, the rgb turns off(on wireless mode) now i know its to save battery but i'd like to disable it. anyone know how? and also how to higher the brightness of the rgb when its on wireless mode?
To brighten or dim the lights, you must press Fn + Arrow Up or Fn + Arrow Down. The LEDs on wireless mode is less bright than when it's on wired mode, I don't think there's a way around for it to be as bright as wired mode.
What if the wire is connected to pc and the dongle to laptop. Is there any easy switch mode or need to unplug the other to use the said mode?

Press Fn + Arrow down several times to turn the RGB off.

Just purchased the keyboard. Software installed but not working.
The software only works on wired mode.
