I have never been to England (my dad was during WWII) but love watching old episodes of escape to the country just for an idea of what I am missing. With all that epicurean delight I can’t believe there weren’t a few delicate scoops of slow churned frozen heaven for the scream Queen. Your sister and yourself look quite smart for dinner and hope there’s a few more travel vlogs together in the future. Kate were riding with the transitional visor, I bit the bullet and bought one not sure that I like though it doesn’t really get all that dark even in the Californian sun.

Lucky you - getting a free night away in a hotel. Kirby Longsdale is in a superb part of the countryside for motorcycling. I have to say though, the food was rather too much Nouvelle Cuisine and foam for my liking. Give me a nice juicy Abrdeen Angus steak with all the trimmings any day. 😋
Great to see how things are in another Country (my Dad came from England , his parents flipped-out when he bought a Vincent Rapide ! ) . Nearly finished Autumn down here (NZ) it's still crazy-hot some days/nights , never seen it quite like this before. Great for riding though . As others have said , it's interesting when you mix-it-up a little with normal-life Adventures with Hannah . The little bits of subtle humour from both of you are great . Dave NZ

@@UsernameKate Just a thought....how about an occasional series where you 'meet the rider'...(obviously you'll need to make sure you're safe etc) but you could meet up and do a real world interview with an owner of a specific machine, chat about it, possibly ride it etc. I reckon there could be mileage in a series like this. I have noticed that on those occasions TMF delves into the world of older bikes (not many can afford a new bike) he does get a lot of views...
Really enjoyed that Kate, i wouldn't know if I'd frame it or eat it, the meal looked great, you just know its going to be expensive when you've got foam on yer grub 👍, little sis did a great job as well, you look like twins, and the only way to eat black pudding is with loads of brown sauce, lovely jubly.

As a potter I can tell you all the plates and bowls were hand thrown and had some wonderful high temperature studio potter's glazes ..Really very posh ..I liked the look of your breakfast ....I hope you get the chance to see Castlerigg above Windermere some ride .It is like going to visit the set of "Close Encounters of the third kind".That stone circle looks like the perfect spot for some space ship to land :)

The passport rules have not changed. But we left the EU so became a '3rd country' and the benefits of EU membership were lost. The international rules for passports is that they have to have at least 6 months validity and that has always been the case outside the EU (going from UK to Australia, for instance), but within the EU we had an agreement among members not to apply that to each other. So when we left the EU we disqualified ourselves from that. So we did it to ourselves by leaving. Yet another little gift of brexit.

Noo, it had been heavy rain over here and it washed the loose stone and gravel to the middle of the roads. If its been dry a few weeks, there isn't normally gravel 😊

Nice, Wild Deer meat is good eating. The population numbers of deer have to be controlled/managed. Making use of natural resources is better than wasteful culls. That place looks really nice.

@@UsernameKate your screen looks quite high as well on the GS, how good is it at sending the wind over your head, would it make a difference with an adventure helmet with a peak? I have a pinlock on my clear one, but also a Transition Photochromic visor which cost £126 which isn't pinlock, so end up taking both on tour, because if it rains then I need to change them over. P.S we like to see your eyes as well lol

The international rules for passports is that they have to have at least 6 months validity and that has always been the case outside the EU (going from UK to Australia, for instance), but within the EU we had an agreement among members not to apply that to each other. So when we left the EU we disqualified ourselves from that. So we did it to ourselves by leaving. Yet another little gift of brexit.

It doesn’t have all of the 719 package but I love the mirrors. Absolutely love the bike. I went to the dealership and it was love at first sight! Planning a trip soon. First service is Tuesday. My mom lives in France and there they put gravel on the road insted of salt...so.
Noo, it had been heavy rain over here and it washed the loose stone and gravel to the middle of the roads. If its been dry a few weeks, there isn't normally gravel 😊

Nice, Wild Deer meat is good eating. The population numbers of deer have to be controlled/managed. Making use of natural resources is better than wasteful culls. That place looks really nice.

No its pinlock and doesn't steam. Just like to make eye contact with you guys like the sicko I am 🤣 but sometimes it's to windy up narthh and my eyes can't handle it lol
@@UsernameKate your screen looks quite high as well on the GS, how good is it at sending the wind over your head, would it make a difference with an adventure helmet with a peak? I have a pinlock on my clear one, but also a Transition Photochromic visor which cost £126 which isn't pinlock, so end up taking both on tour, because if it rains then I need to change them over. P.S we like to see your eyes as well lol
