    New to detecting here in New Jersey, US. I've been a surfer my entire life and you're 100% spot on with your judgements of where items will be lost & then located. I've personally lost stuff in ALL of these locations. Haha. I've been out 3 times so far, with average success. Simplex+ is my weapon of choice, tweaked out it does pretty well in wet and dry sand we have here. Thanks for the video.

    Many years ago, I took an oceanography class that taught us that sand gets deposited over summer and washed away during stronger waves of winter storms. Any thoughts on how this could be used to a detectorist's advantage?
    Nevermind-I spoke too soon. You covered it.

    Thinking of starting metal detecting and live near lots of low spots on beach .. why is black sand good for searching?

    • @paulcee
      @paulcee  3 роки тому +1

      more dense than general sand and holds finds and keeps them in good condition

    There are over 5,000 views, but why doesn't it show how many likes vs dislikes? It's sometimes quite helpful to new visitors to have a glance at those numbers, without having to scroll through comments, in order to help in deciding if the video is worth watching or not.
